It looks interesting, but I am worried about dlcdox. In this case they are just the publisher so I hope it won't have the DLC spam. But I would be more intersted in the game if they had another publisher or self published.
I strongly believe they will deliver. There used to be demo available, and the game is set to release by the end of this year into EA. They already worked on it for 8 years.
@@Di3Leberwurst It's a different branch of the Paradox were used to. So I'll personally give it chance. But I'll also be keeping my eyes open for how they plan to project growth. I love Stellaris. But I can't keep up with all the dlc
I am not really a mining dude but the game looks interesting enough for me because of the more realistic approach. I will check games out that follow that hard sci fi approach. I would love to have a game similar to Nexus the Jupiter incident as an example. This game blends hard and fiction so good together and also has a explanation for it.
Just a heads up, if you think the realistic approach sounds fun, you would probably *really* enjoy KSP if you haven’t already. The mining in KSP is also really challenging and cool but there’s no real reason to do it in that game unless you have construction-themed mods installed like MKS or Extraplanetary Launchpads. With graphics mods you can even make it look super modern.
I used to play as a miner in Eve: Online. Spending hour upon hour just mining and relaxing was my idea of a great time. Hoping this is like those moments. We'll see how this develops. Thanks for posting this. RIBBIT @ObsidianAnt!!!
It seems this game's development is focussed on a set of very specific gameplay elements, which i think its good, too many space games try to do everything.
I like it's art direction and UI approach, seems to be very clear, smooth and stable. The flight model may be newtonian, but it is controlled in an RTS manner with a mouse or one could potential use their joysticks for it? HOSAS would be sweet.
Looking forward to it. I like mining and salvaging in space games. Unfortunately if it is in a game at all it is very basic like aktivating an ability (e.g. eve online). I would really love a game that explores mining in a deeper way with more realism. I jave my hopes for this one.
Well, it looks great and has a place on my wishlist to keep in tracked. We'll see if there will be an adequate challenge or just a boring (endless) farming.
I'm very interested at mining in space, hauling ressources, bulding ships and stations, production of goods and trading it for profit. It remind me the good days of Eve-Online, before it became impossible to avoid ganking twice a day. Now its the combat part of the game that is not really appealing for me. But what turn me a bit off is the complexity of RTX management.
Good grief I read that as "Starmer AMBITIOUS" and thought this channel took a bit a of a detour to politics. I'm curious, how much time did you spend in EVE exactly? It can be quite a time sink!
Its the newtonian physics and movements that bothers me. Like others on here I have a past mining with Elite and Eve where flight was relatively (no pun intended) straight forward. Im not sure that real movement is the path to a relaxing game experience.
My interest went from 0 to maybe 3/10, when the aliens were mentioned. At least a reason to actually play rather than having an AFK game. But, you know, people prefer different things. I like when I can actually lose and have to actively do something to prevent it.
Some what feel the same. Was hoping it would all be about mining. The difficulty should come from mining, maneuvering, finding and understanding asteroids and so on.
seems interesting, hopefully it doesn't flop like many space games nowadays
I was just saying on another of these kinds of preview videos that like maybe 10% of the games he covers EVER make it out of early access

@@StDomBzthe overpriced dlcs with paradox games are plenty and eye gouging

I just hope it also will include a cockpit view.. that would be super grand!
Will you cover the 7.0 official launch for X4? I would love to see a video for the new player experience, as I've never played an X game.
Yes, that's the plan. :)
That would be great, I recently bought game and wait to start playing for 7.0 release. Btw setting up hotas was terrible experience 😄

Very cool Obsidian. looks great.
“This is space scifi so there are aliens out there.” I wish Starfield had understood that.
I'm looking forward to this one. I love games with unit design and I love Management games. I also love sci-fi. :)
game sounds great I will wish list it.

If they put out a demo I will give it a try but I am done with spending money on any early access games. o7 😎👍
I wanna play now. Was my first activity in eve online in 2009 ahaah
Hopefully it's playable on steam deck!
Looks a lot like Celestial Command, but with a bigger budget
looks dope
Really liking the look of this game, but it doesn't have co-op. I just want to play this type of game with my friends
I like the word profit
Cockpit View ❤
i'd like a game like this but 2 to 4 player coop.

Console????????
Starfield will soon get spatialize station … 😂😂😂
lost interest in the game when you said you have to defend against alien attack.
Hopefully there will be 'peaceful' mode option.
