@@lisadullebawn3876 No, synchronised. The sound is synthetised, the video is synchronised with the sound. Video is actually filmed with a camera, pointed to an actual oscilloscope in the X-Y plot mode. He had to buckle everything up and line it up perfectly so it actually matches.
I’d love to know what would happen if you recorded the sound from mushrooms and re-inputted it into your ‘scope. And if you could find the sound for coaxing plants and mushrooms to grow.
Does this mean I can make my own oscilloscope tracks w/o calculating where a cosine meets with a sine wave? Please tell me I don't still have to do that...
Well, you can still draw a circle on an oscilloscope using sine to X and cosine to Y channels :) That's not actually very difficult math. Where sine decreases, cosine actually increases, and vice versa. When you want to know what a sin function value of a certain angle is, you just draw a vertical line from the point that crosses the line extruding from an origin to certain direction with a circle of the radius 1 (it's called a singular circle), basically to the point where an X axis is, perpendicular to it. And measure its length and see where that line is - positive or negative Y values. The same applies to cos, but instead you draw a line perpendicular to the Y axis and measure the lenght and see where it is - positive or negative X values. Drawing that circle to the oscilloscope is literally the reverse engineering of the sin and cos functions analogy of the singular circle.
Oh. My. God. I'm totally mindblown. you've beaten yourself haha. now that's really a tune. hey Chris Allen, i think this is some complex work you would've done someday :) i have faith in it. PS: Again what's up with bandcamp prompting to buy the full album instead of the track alone?
Mushroom Generator is one of the most underrated software synths out there imo.

Jerobeam, you are awesome. You should be a lead in Kraftwerk.

But this music won’t cure my headache. No matter, the mushroom dance is worth it
does anybody knows what was the sound frequency used to obtain the design of the double 5 points star like in star forts ?
Thanks for sharing genius, I love ur work
The soundemote link is dead. Any chance of a re-upload somewhere?
