Your hair is beautiful, such a great mix of salt and pepper. I grew mine in too, when I first did it I really loved it for a while. I wish I did it earlier to get your color. I got sick of it and colored it again. The color is like a very cool lightest brown, almost a grey cast. Honestly I like both. I wouldn’t hesitate to grow it in again. Now when I have grey roots, I don’t feel the need to color immediately and they are not as noticeable next to my previous dark brown hair.
Hi Cath, your hair looks fabulous and I love the length of it now - definitely keep growing it. You inspired me to let my silvers come through and I'll be dye free three years on 10 July, yay! You are a beautiful looking woman and your silvers just enhance your beauty and, as you said, make you different, unique, standout. You look chic with your silvers, make up and nails, a great look. Love your cat.
The people I get the most push back from are hairdressers, telling me I'm too young to just go grey, I'm 45 too🤣! Your hair is beautiful. I'm almost 5 months in wish me patience.
I just started letting mine grow out from dying about 9 months ago. The longest I have gone without dying my hair for 23 years (been using dye since 10 years old - I was a pageant and dance kid). It feels so good finally seeing what my natural color is and I dyed it to what I thought would match my hair before deciding to stop dying and I was nearly spot on, you can't even tell where the dyed part starts and the growth is. I'm enjoying this new hair journey. It's a dark ashy strawberry blonde is the best way I can describe what my natural color is 😂
I stopped coloring my hair over the pandemic as well. I also love it. Unfotunately I talked myself into getting some gray highlights in last year. Wow what a mistake. I am in a transition phase again. Luckily it is only a few pieces. Nobody tells you that gray hair turns blond when bleached.
What a lovely update 💕your hair is beautiful and you look fab!!! You inspired me to grow out my greys and it’s now 2 1/2 years since I last coloured my hair. Funnily enough the colour is very similar to yours and I love it too ☺️
Your hair is so beautiful and that fuschia lipstick is amazing with the silver! I am about 9 months into the grow out - a lot of people say I am brave but there are times (during a corporate meeting) that I worry this will impact my career negatively and that I should wait until I am in my 50’s to do this But I’m sticking it out because if I didn’t know any better and didn’t have contact with anyone and lived alone and never saw a fashion magazine I would honestly love it. I think silver hair is gorgeous.
If your hair colour determines your worth at work find a new company. Honestly I don’t understand the issue. It’s a hair colour and because of women like us we are helping to rewrite the narrative. Go us!!
Brilliant. This is the vlog I have been waiting for since I have also let my hair return to natural. After watching you growing out from the start I have since purchased a Dyson hairdryer (expensive but my treat) which is kinder to my hair and I use Philip Kingsley products after your recommendation. All great products. Your hair looks amazing. Definitely an inspo to anyone else wishing to go on this journey. Thanks. 😊
My hair is dark brown and at my 20 years i started to have grey hair ...now am 29 years old and I have a lot of grey hair on one side of my front hair and it looks AMAZING and that grey hair looks shiney ..peoplealways ask me what am doing to make it look like that 😅( ps. I have never died my hair before) ❤
