I’ve been maintaining my 9st weight loss calorie counting for 18 months. Like you some days I have no cravings and may have too low calories ie 800-900 but knowing some days I could eat my own arm off , I’m like a thing possessed! Knowing I’ve stacked some spare calories away for those days I don’t beat my self up when and if those craving rubbish days come along. My go to rubbish are chocolate of course, Butterkist popcorn or Pringles at 1000 calories a tube. I think no matter what method we are using to maintain our weight loss be it CC , Syns or points those craving days will pop up and we need to be kind to ourselves knowing it will pass. You are right the only difference to me now is my determination to get back on track immediately after and not just give in. The old saying ‘ nothing tastes as good as being skinny feels is soooo true. For you it’s your amazing USA jeans, for me just zipping up my size 10 M&S jeans (where I was a size 24) feels amazing! Thank you for raising this topic because I can guarantee to happens to us all at one time or another.
Keep going Cath. It’s just January blues ❤. I felt like I was struggling and went off plan trying other diets ( stupidly) I ended up putting it all back on. I’ve rewatched all of your videos and they really inspire me xxx
I know what you mean. I’ve got the January blues after Xmas and New Year and we went away for my hubby’s 50th in December. I could hibernate this time of year. Thanks so much for sharing ❤xxx
I so needed this video. I am struggling so much. Fine all week but weekend completely go off the rail. I mean proper binge eating. Near enough back to weight was after Xmas i really want to turn this around but soooo hard and getting me down. Sorry to rant x
I lost 25 lbs in 5 month doing low carb/keto/carnivore with intermittent fasting (2 meals a day with no snacks). It is not a starvation diet so I eat until I’m full and it’s easy to stick to. I have maintained for over 2 years and I’m 53 years old, 128lbs, 5”7” tall.
That’s wonderful to hear. You are doing so well. I have two meals between 12 MD and 8pm but do give in to snacks mainly fruit or low calorie French fry crisps as I crave salty foods sometimes.
Good Morning Cath.Have lost three stone on SW need to lose another twelve pounds ( this last bit is taking forever!!!!!!.This is the first time I’m not craving ‘rubbish’ there has definitely been a shift in my mind set,no idea why but so pleased as I’ve always wanted to eat rubbish. What I have found really really helpful is to batch cook so I always have something in the freezer I can just take out in the morning. Also another tip is to be consistent and look beyond this moment and how you will feel if you do or don’t eat whatever it is you want (not need). Hope this helps x.
Thanks Cath! We have just joined SW on 6th January and after 1 week we lost over 5 pound each. I have more to lose than hubby but so far we love the food, although we spend more time cooking and planning. And more time washing pots lol. It's winter. Our body tells us we need to hibernate. I'm amazed at your weight loss! ❤xx

It happens you’ll pick it up again but it is a journey and no journeys are linear. Hang in there xx
