If you're using the original transaxle, which has a reverse gear, why are you also using a switch where the heater control once was to reverse the direction of the car? It is hard to imagine the need to run the car backwards at high speed.
That car had a 4 cylinder push rod motor, not a quad cam. But great job, looks awesome. Keen to understand if you can sell the bits so that we can make one in Australia.
How many miles do you get? I’ve got a convertible 64 356c I’m thinking of converting, but what will that do to my value? The car is all original except the paint color
This is a customers bespoke spec and is 150 miles real world range.
Mine is the First Porsche 356 speedster year 1956 replica platform same as VW Beetle 1600 cc right steering wheel, how much Electrogenic Conversion kits?
Hi, We are not supplying kits for this at the moment but drop us an email at enquiries@electrogenic.co.uk and we'll see if we can help.
Beautiful build! I have a 356A kit car, I like the idea of leaving the original beetle gearbox in. Did having a gearbox simplify the controller electronics a bit, or not really?
What a simply beautiful car, just a shame it doesn't have the original noises. if they could find a solution to have the engine soundtrack in a electric car that would complete the work of art
We have been working on a solution! We can record the sound of the engine of any customer car before we convert it, if requested.
EV Power !!! 💪⚡😍
