What Elec means is that gas isn't a warrior like goku and vegeta. They will keep pushing until they win where as Gas doesn't have that same mentality. Him questioning why goku and vegeta keep fighting baffles him implying that if he was in there same situation he would give up
To be honest about Bardock's wish, it looks like it just allowed Goku and Raditz to survive their planet's destruction, given how Vegeta complains about their "survival" and doesn't elaborate more about it. Aside from that, even if it did extend throughout their childhood, it didn't stop Goku from getting beaten, losing loved ones and having to work hard to become stronger.
The wish ensured that he never ultimately died until he became an adult, therefore removing all tension from the kid Goku era and making us question whether anything that occurred during that time period happened organically (including Goku's choices) or merely because of the wish. Think about it, Goku now canonically had plot armor while he was growing up. There's no upside to that.. it just makes everything worse. Honestly, this is the worst thing that has happened to DB lore ever and I don't understand why so many fans seem to not be bothered by it.
While these latest chapters have had their problems I do kinda like the idea that vegetas character arc from end of z and super is embracing being from earth and now it seems gokus is embracing his saiyan heritage
My dream scenario would be Vegeta just absolutely overpowering Gas, pummeling him, and Goku runs interference defending Vegeta from kill shots while they blitz Gas. Unstoppable force (UE) + immovable object (UI) = *TANK*

I don't know if anyone has already said it but it sounds to me that Ultra ego is a lot like the hulks strength. The more angry the Hulk gets(when he gets hurt usually), the stronger he gets. With Vegeta, it's based on how excited he gets from fighting. Obviously when he starts trading blows and taking damage it stimulates him.

I like how Goku was able to dodge a few of Gas' attacks that end up connecting on Vegeta. But then Vegeta was able to eat a few of Gas' attacks which made him stronger. I like that they've established clear differences in their fight philosophies. After their zenkis they should be even more competitive in the next chapter.
Dbs foreshadowing multiple universes...seeing that gas powers are natural & op i can only assume he’s from a universe that wasn’t in the tournament seeing how we never saw a character like him before (no way powers like that are getting overlooked), but why did Elec say Gas’ Universe instead of our universe maybe that’s why Maki is confused? Drives me mildly crazy how it’s always referred to as saiyan armor when it’s freeze force armor. To the best of my knowledge we have no idea what the saiyan swore prior to being overruled by the cold hierarchy. We saw in dbs broly they wore the armor prior to Frieza taking rule over planet vegeta, though they were already under king colds thumb, we’ve seen brief clips from ancient saiyans and they weren’t wearing the armor but that’s not really a surprise. No one or no race or civilization would wear the same clothes for centuries, but we haven’t seen legit images of pre-cold/frieza army participation. If I’m wrong I’d love to learn something new, please learnt me something if I’m off base here cause it’s been a gear grinding pet peeve of mine for a min, for basically no reason too lol it’s such a stupid and minuet “error” but it still gets me

Rereading both Vegeta vs Moro and Granola vs Vegeta because this actually has a lot of stuff for his character that is first brought up in those fights. The quote at the end supports this, neither revenge or atonement. (Vegeta fought Moro for not just protecting but atonement as well)

So if that is the case, and it made Gas the strongest from his universe, maybe there are people even stronger than Granola from his universe and so the powerup is more than we think. Either that or it's a turn of phrase and he is referring to a secret technique that will put him way above what we have seen so far.

Same here. I never took the wish as “Goku would be protected by a magic wish for all his childhood until a certain date” to be logical, rather it would just allow him to reach Earth safe and make his own choices. Raditz chose to harm people and be evil so he got killed
I think that the Granola’s wish has some gaps, like he was the strongest in the universe in that moment. Elec must wished that even if a new warrior appears Gass must surpass him. Something like that.
The wish was to make them grow up strong. Not to make them invincible. The wish came true in the sense that his kids did grow up strong. But that doesn't mean that they were invincible. They could have been killed, but the wish took effect before dragon ball even started. It didn't boost Goku's power in any way or Raditz's power in any way. The wish may have manipulated events in the timeline. For example: Goku may never have been found by grandpa Gohan, but the wish made it happen. The wish simply gave them paths to strength and didn't physically affect them.

When Vegeta mention that they must take in the Saiyan's Pride, the only thing that I can think of that makes that statement make sense, is that Vegeta's pride is for himself, but to have Pride in the Saiyans as a whole is to have pride in the entire Saiyan Race, like no matter if your people were good people or bad people, be proud of your people either way, and be proud to be part of them. This whole uproar about a wish from Bardock make me imagine if social media was around when dragonball first introduced Raditz in the manga. Raditz pretty much confirms to everyone Goku is an alien and the "strongest race in the universe" at the time. Wouldn't that just take away from Goku's accomplishments growing up as well. I'm sure people were mad back then too but they had no internet outlet to complain on
4:50 yeah they were already grown and the wish wore off, but also that allowed Raditz to finally come to Earth. Who knows, if there was no wish then maybe Raditz would have gone to Earth a bit sooner and things would have gone hairy for Goku

Remember he got piccolo moves and memories and since they accessed his mind in the beginning of the arc learned of top. Also could've heard it from Frieza when he came back to his empire. Learning about Jiren universe they wished to be stronger than universe 11
The difference from Broly and Vegeta is Broly doesn’t need to take damage in order for him to get stronger. Broly is more based on time. He’s gonna get stronger over time whether he’s taking damage or not. Vegeta seems to get stronger in Ultra Ego only as he’s taking damage. If he’s winning I’m assuming he won’t be getting stronger but if he begins to start losing the boost in strength/energy will begin.
That doesn't seem to be the case at all. Vegeta got wrecked by Granolah after stating he gets stronger as the battle goes on and he suffers damage. He said that than a few panels later he was stating that he couldn't take much more damage. Again it shows the horrible writing of DBS. It's just like when Vegeta started learning spirit control and was supposed to have all these new feats of power...only for it to be forgotten about when he actually hit the battlefield.

Vegeta gets stronger from battle lust. Battle lust is increased based on the amount of damage he takes in. That's just Vegeta's stimulus for growth, this is unique to Vegeta. How Beerus accesses destructive energy, or any other GoD could be entirely different, but Vegeta is taking advantage of his Saiyan bloodline in this sense, and it's what helps him focus solely on destruction. Broly is feral and out of control, he has no conscience and is absolutely a loose canon. Broly has reached his limit in his battle against SSB Gogeta. In fact, he's reached his limit several times in the movie. Once when he was fighting Vegeta, until he turned Wrathful, again when he was fighting Goku and turned Super Saiyan, and for the last time against Gogeta when he achieved 'Super Saiyan Full power' or whatever that form is coined. At that point he had already reached his limit, otherwise he would have muscled his way out of Gogeta's final attack and that wish to send him to Vampa wouldn't have been made. The fundamental difference between all that is, Ultra Ego Vegeta genuinely has no limit, other than his durability ( since he depends on battle lust based off of injury/damage). We don't necessarily know how Broly's full power Super saiyan form works, but to assume he just passively grows in power is head-canon. The only reason he had that much massive growth in the first place was because his battle with Goku and Vegeta brought out the latent potential that has been hidden within him for decades.
What if he is actually from universe 13? We’d know if he was from the 12 we know about already. That would actually make sense… and if I’m right …. We might be in for a really fun arch when this one ends 😂

I really think since the wish was made on that set of DBs that have a drawback (AKA Gronola/Gas' remaining life being shortened after gaining ultimate power) the drawback being that although they were spared from impending doom from Frieza, they would meet their deaths at each other's hands.
I need an explanation video on why it was never confirmed where saiyans go when they died except for goku and vegeta. Goku had been to both heaven and hell and vegeta in hell but never confirmed any dead saiyans or reprised of saiyans like they were hakai'd from history
It's most likely because all the saiyans had literally sinned so after death their only options was to repent and be reincarnated or sit in Hell for eternity So they all probably decided to repent for their sins. Frieza decided not to repent which is why he was in Hell
I don't believe the "blanket of protection" thing for a moment, I just don't see how manipulating future circumstance (especially as it pertains to the free will of others, which the same dragon specifically refused to interfere with in regards to moving Bardock) is within the dragon's power. I think the dragon simply gave Bardock whatever power/instincts he needed to protect his sons, at the cost of being unable to protect himself. Still not my favorite writing, I just think the narrative of kid Goku being untouchable makes no sense. Also, "But you spoil Bra," is a perfectly Goku thing to say. Goku is a simpleton, and this is far from the first time Super played that up for laughs and for getting under Vegeta's skin. Remember, this is the same Goku who told Vegeta that his wife having a baby didn't have anything to do with him.

I like that it seems like gas not only manifest weapons but enchanted weapons. The weapons are probably on par with his power level the same way the ghost Kamikaze attack is on par with Gotenks power level actually the ghosts are just simply stronger because he got a power up but I like that concept of constructing weapons what's next a sword that paralyzes you while simultaneously poisoning you and electrocuting you?
On the note of sins vs pride i think vegeta had sayian pride pegged as more of the conquering and killing aspects of being a "warrior race" hence the sins. He been feeling guilty as of late about all the bloodshed his race caused for sport. Bardock reminded him and taught goku their sayian pride is about raising and surpassing the challenge in combat, its about the thrill of it for fightings sake not killing and conquest.
After witnessing Bardocks story first hand I can say that it's super empowering and enthralling to watch. Bardock,who in a final moment of desperation defies all the ignorant and otherwise normal aspects of the saiyans saving his child and facing off against the unstoppable monster that threatened his world. In a world of powerful warriors capable of destroying solar systems Bardock alone raged against the inevitability while everyone else was too afraid to even make a move.
I think that “different universe” line is just meant to be like when Goku said “I didn’t even know this world existed” when he unlocked Super Saiyan God. Basically, referring to his power as a whole other level. I could be wrong, but that’s my guess.

Side note, people assume that wish affected everyone around Goku and Raditz when it only most likely affected certain key people to ensure both would live. I believe when it came to Goku, every choice he's made as a child was his own as he chose to go on an adventure with Bulma. The end goal of the wish was to allow Goku to grow up to be strong, so things that could have been goals for Goku after Grandpa Gohan's death is to make friends that can go on through our his life. Additionally, as a kid Goku was care free but he wasn't gonna allow himself to go down as for a kid they sometimes don't want to give up against a bully or an adult, so remember one of the few Goku got seriously injured by was Mercanary Tao whom Goku wasn't about to allow him to get away with killing a new friend's father. If anything, that was Bardock's pride working to keep his son going involuntarily.
I don't understand how people are confused by the Vegeta part. Vegeta always talked about Saiyan pride but he thought about how they were a warrior race and destroyed civilizations as pride. This is what Beerus was trying to get him to focus on, but Vegeta here distinguishes between the Saiyan's sins and their pride. Before he believed them to be the same.
Vegeta and Goku will both push past their limits and defeat Gas, but before they kill him Elec will reveal a final trick up his sleeve. That’s when Granolah will step back in and get his revenge.
I was not counting on Goku to wear the full outfit, he feel better wearing his normal gui, and I do not see a point in Vegeta putting on the old armor, if he wanted to wear it, he would simply ask Bulma to make it. I was just hoping Goku would have the chest armor on, him literally combining both his birth planet, and the planet he was raised, also it would probably be the closest we’re getting to the correct outfit for Vegito. (Because Vegeta didn’t have his armor in the buu saga Vegito had the iconic outfit, but super, and the other sections of the franchise never included the armor.)

I liked the move of having dragonballs be the reason goku survived until him and raditz died at the sametime cause to me it moves away from goku and focus on dragonball in general. Like the show is called dragonball. Not son goku, son goku z, son goku super, son goku gt. By having the dragonballs( which are mysterious to even the angels and omni king somewhat)be the thing behind it all. Makes dragon balls have more meaning for the title being dragonball. To me it explains alot and comes full circle. And removes the Gary sue from goku somewhat. Like goku was a mystery to others in dragonball and this kinda removes that in a way for the audience but has more meaning as franchise in whole. Like this arc turned dragonballs in dragonball around completely and gave them more meaning. Instead of the characters. I think this may play a role into Gt's end finally when they link it all together. It explains kid goku power in gt. Why he couldn't die

I like how Goku was able to dodge a few of Gas' attacks that end up connecting on Vegeta. But then Vegeta was able to eat a few of Gas' attacks which made him stronger. I like that they've established clear differences in their fight philosophies. After their zenkis they should be even more competitive in the next chapter.

Drives me mildly crazy how it’s always referred to as saiyan armor when it’s freeze force armor. To the best of my knowledge we have no idea what the saiyan swore prior to being overruled by the cold hierarchy. We saw in dbs broly they wore the armor prior to Frieza taking rule over planet vegeta, though they were already under king colds thumb, we’ve seen brief clips from ancient saiyans and they weren’t wearing the armor but that’s not really a surprise. No one or no race or civilization would wear the same clothes for centuries, but we haven’t seen legit images of pre-cold/frieza army participation. If I’m wrong I’d love to learn something new, please learnt me something if I’m off base here cause it’s been a gear grinding pet peeve of mine for a min, for basically no reason too lol it’s such a stupid and minuet “error” but it still gets me

So if that is the case, and it made Gas the strongest from his universe, maybe there are people even stronger than Granola from his universe and so the powerup is more than we think. Either that or it's a turn of phrase and he is referring to a secret technique that will put him way above what we have seen so far.

I think that the Granola’s wish has some gaps, like he was the strongest in the universe in that moment. Elec must wished that even if a new warrior appears Gass must surpass him. Something like that.
The wish was to make them grow up strong. Not to make them invincible. The wish came true in the sense that his kids did grow up strong. But that doesn't mean that they were invincible. They could have been killed, but the wish took effect before dragon ball even started. It didn't boost Goku's power in any way or Raditz's power in any way. The wish may have manipulated events in the timeline. For example: Goku may never have been found by grandpa Gohan, but the wish made it happen. The wish simply gave them paths to strength and didn't physically affect them.

This whole uproar about a wish from Bardock make me imagine if social media was around when dragonball first introduced Raditz in the manga. Raditz pretty much confirms to everyone Goku is an alien and the "strongest race in the universe" at the time. Wouldn't that just take away from Goku's accomplishments growing up as well. I'm sure people were mad back then too but they had no internet outlet to complain on
4:50 yeah they were already grown and the wish wore off, but also that allowed Raditz to finally come to Earth. Who knows, if there was no wish then maybe Raditz would have gone to Earth a bit sooner and things would have gone hairy for Goku

The difference from Broly and Vegeta is Broly doesn’t need to take damage in order for him to get stronger. Broly is more based on time. He’s gonna get stronger over time whether he’s taking damage or not. Vegeta seems to get stronger in Ultra Ego only as he’s taking damage. If he’s winning I’m assuming he won’t be getting stronger but if he begins to start losing the boost in strength/energy will begin.
What a dumb power up concept
That doesn't seem to be the case at all. Vegeta got wrecked by Granolah after stating he gets stronger as the battle goes on and he suffers damage. He said that than a few panels later he was stating that he couldn't take much more damage. Again it shows the horrible writing of DBS. It's just like when Vegeta started learning spirit control and was supposed to have all these new feats of power...only for it to be forgotten about when he actually hit the battlefield.

Vegeta gets stronger from battle lust. Battle lust is increased based on the amount of damage he takes in. That's just Vegeta's stimulus for growth, this is unique to Vegeta. How Beerus accesses destructive energy, or any other GoD could be entirely different, but Vegeta is taking advantage of his Saiyan bloodline in this sense, and it's what helps him focus solely on destruction.
Broly is feral and out of control, he has no conscience and is absolutely a loose canon. Broly has reached his limit in his battle against SSB Gogeta. In fact, he's reached his limit several times in the movie. Once when he was fighting Vegeta, until he turned Wrathful, again when he was fighting Goku and turned Super Saiyan, and for the last time against Gogeta when he achieved 'Super Saiyan Full power' or whatever that form is coined. At that point he had already reached his limit, otherwise he would have muscled his way out of Gogeta's final attack and that wish to send him to Vampa wouldn't have been made.
The fundamental difference between all that is, Ultra Ego Vegeta genuinely has no limit, other than his durability ( since he depends on battle lust based off of injury/damage). We don't necessarily know how Broly's full power Super saiyan form works, but to assume he just passively grows in power is head-canon. The only reason he had that much massive growth in the first place was because his battle with Goku and Vegeta brought out the latent potential that has been hidden within him for decades.
What if he is actually from universe 13? We’d know if he was from the 12 we know about already. That would actually make sense… and if I’m right …. We might be in for a really fun arch when this one ends 😂

I really think since the wish was made on that set of DBs that have a drawback (AKA Gronola/Gas' remaining life being shortened after gaining ultimate power) the drawback being that although they were spared from impending doom from Frieza, they would meet their deaths at each other's hands.

I need an explanation video on why it was never confirmed where saiyans go when they died except for goku and vegeta. Goku had been to both heaven and hell and vegeta in hell but never confirmed any dead saiyans or reprised of saiyans like they were hakai'd from history
It's most likely because all the saiyans had literally sinned so after death their only options was to repent and be reincarnated or sit in Hell for eternity So they all probably decided to repent for their sins. Frieza decided not to repent which is why he was in Hell
Or some could also be sitting in their own version of hell which obviously goku wouldn't see unless he requested to visit them in hell
I don't believe the "blanket of protection" thing for a moment, I just don't see how manipulating future circumstance (especially as it pertains to the free will of others, which the same dragon specifically refused to interfere with in regards to moving Bardock) is within the dragon's power. I think the dragon simply gave Bardock whatever power/instincts he needed to protect his sons, at the cost of being unable to protect himself.
Still not my favorite writing, I just think the narrative of kid Goku being untouchable makes no sense.
Also, "But you spoil Bra," is a perfectly Goku thing to say. Goku is a simpleton, and this is far from the first time Super played that up for laughs and for getting under Vegeta's skin. Remember, this is the same Goku who told Vegeta that his wife having a baby didn't have anything to do with him.

I like that it seems like gas not only manifest weapons but enchanted weapons. The weapons are probably on par with his power level the same way the ghost Kamikaze attack is on par with Gotenks power level actually the ghosts are just simply stronger because he got a power up but I like that concept of constructing weapons what's next a sword that paralyzes you while simultaneously poisoning you and electrocuting you?
On the note of sins vs pride i think vegeta had sayian pride pegged as more of the conquering and killing aspects of being a "warrior race" hence the sins. He been feeling guilty as of late about all the bloodshed his race caused for sport. Bardock reminded him and taught goku their sayian pride is about raising and surpassing the challenge in combat, its about the thrill of it for fightings sake not killing and conquest.

After witnessing Bardocks story first hand I can say that it's super empowering and enthralling to watch.
Bardock,who in a final moment of desperation defies all the ignorant and otherwise normal aspects of the saiyans saving his child and facing off against the unstoppable monster that threatened his world.
In a world of powerful warriors capable of destroying solar systems Bardock alone raged against the inevitability while everyone else was too afraid to even make a move.

I believe when it came to Goku, every choice he's made as a child was his own as he chose to go on an adventure with Bulma. The end goal of the wish was to allow Goku to grow up to be strong, so things that could have been goals for Goku after Grandpa Gohan's death is to make friends that can go on through our his life. Additionally, as a kid Goku was care free but he wasn't gonna allow himself to go down as for a kid they sometimes don't want to give up against a bully or an adult, so remember one of the few Goku got seriously injured by was Mercanary Tao whom Goku wasn't about to allow him to get away with killing a new friend's father. If anything, that was Bardock's pride working to keep his son going involuntarily.

I don't understand how people are confused by the Vegeta part. Vegeta always talked about Saiyan pride but he thought about how they were a warrior race and destroyed civilizations as pride. This is what Beerus was trying to get him to focus on, but Vegeta here distinguishes between the Saiyan's sins and their pride. Before he believed them to be the same.
Didn’t think for one second Goku would wear his armor. This is still Super, it’ll always be the orange Gi.
Vegeta and Goku will both push past their limits and defeat Gas, but before they kill him Elec will reveal a final trick up his sleeve. That’s when Granolah will step back in and get his revenge.
I was not counting on Goku to wear the full outfit, he feel better wearing his normal gui, and I do not see a point in Vegeta putting on the old armor, if he wanted to wear it, he would simply ask Bulma to make it. I was just hoping Goku would have the chest armor on, him literally combining both his birth planet, and the planet he was raised, also it would probably be the closest we’re getting to the correct outfit for Vegito. (Because Vegeta didn’t have his armor in the buu saga Vegito had the iconic outfit, but super, and the other sections of the franchise never included the armor.)

Like the show is called dragonball. Not son goku, son goku z, son goku super, son goku gt. By having the dragonballs( which are mysterious to even the angels and omni king somewhat)be the thing behind it all. Makes dragon balls have more meaning for the title being dragonball. To me it explains alot and comes full circle. And removes the Gary sue from goku somewhat. Like goku was a mystery to others in dragonball and this kinda removes that in a way for the audience but has more meaning as franchise in whole. Like this arc turned dragonballs in dragonball around completely and gave them more meaning. Instead of the characters.
