Supposedly Toei or Shueisha wanted Future Trunks back so asked Toriyama to incorporate him again. Same with Broly, they asked him to introduce Broly into the main story

Imo this is similar to when Goku first got Super Saiyan. It was strong but it could get better. Look at the power difference between SS Goku vs Frieza and SS Goku vs Perfect Cell. Similar with MUI imo, he can still get so much better.

The only thing about this is that it would seem kind of out of character certainly for Vegeta and also for Goku. Goku and Vegeta are rivals. They are willing to work together but I highly doubt that Vegeta would EVER allow himself to be the student of Goku. That to me seems very strange and would completely change their dynamic. Not saying it couldn't happen, and I would need to think more about how I would feel about it but I do think it's unlikely.

I always, always thought that there were multiple levels of UI. My guess is that while Goku has mastered his UI, he has yet to fully utilize it to the absolute max. So excited for the future of this arc!

UI Goku Vs Whis was literally just a new Black Belt student Vs the Master, where the student basically realizes that there are still have a ways to go, despite being a Black Belt. Basically how, in some martial arts, there are Black Belt degrees! Think of UI Goku as a base Black Belt (Actually, let's make him a 3rd degree, as he's basically honed UI a bit since the ToP, 3rd degree being Professor status), then think of Whis as a 7th degree Black Belt (AKA a Grand Master), but above those two, you have the GP who is a 10th degree Red Belt (Some Martial Arts have the Red Belt above the Black Belt) which is Great Grand Master status.

I don't think that Beerus technique just by definition is "on par with UI". I think it couples with what Whis was explaining to Goku here. There are levels to UI, so similarly there may be levels to this new technique. But if the Grand Priest knows UI that's most likely the cap of power. So my theory is that UI and this new technique will be the final "forms" of Goku and Vegeta, but they will go back and forth in who is stronger based on training. However Goku will inevitably be stronger because his overall cap potential will be higher. Sooo EVENTUALY Goku may be stronger than Beerus as well, since angels (whom constantly are in UI) are stronger than gods of destruction.

No has has NOT mastered it yet. "Mastered UI" is purely a fan made name to be more specific. And it makes perfect sense, since Goku has used it only few times.. Just because you can do something at will, does not automatically mean that you have mastered it.
Wow Beerus actually has a technique that can rival MUI and vegeta is going to learn it, that's interesting. I was never one to assume Goku surpassed beerus but this just adds to it, I knew UI wasn't the end all be all technique. Always thought this is how it should go, Goku’s path being MUI and Vegeta becoming Hakaishin. Eventually achieving their ultimate forms of Goku having “Super Ultra Instinct” and Vegeta having a “God of Destruction Super Saiyan” form which rivals each other.

I mentioned previously that UI was just the gateway to other abilities of the Gods. Im glad they are acknowledging that! We already saw that Beerus and Whis have special sealing techniques(zamasu). it's not surprising that UI can be defeated. It's just a state not a power up, based on Buddhism and Daoism. In Buddhism they are concerned with detaching themselves of desire and the five aggregates. Goku's inner aggregates are his selfish desire to fight. He controls this desires(temporary) and that's is where the name comes from: "the secret of selfishness". As for the rest of the leaks, I'm glad they took off his headpiece. It seems this Granola character is a reference to a one shot manga Toriyama did a while back. Which is Kintoki. It's about a special race of humans that have a special eye and high marksmanship. Interesting developments!
Same. Probably will happen next arc bc at this point they’re not strong enough(goku,etc). The demons would have to b an immediate threat to the gods and also the angels, and they would need a leader as strong as the grand priest or more powerful to balance out the scales. They would also need a master plan to get rid of Zeno or neutralize him bc he’s too powerful right now.

But for all we know, there could be more ancient threats within the Demon realm. Threats not even Supreme Kai knows about. What I'm saying is, it isn't as hard to comfortably retcon that story point as you make it seem. I get the feeling the Beerus does not want Goku to know about the technique with the way he said that he would train Vegeta. And Beerus was also annoyed by Goku being Goku so maybe that is why he send Vegeta the message so weirdly and secrectivly so Goku could not hear it.
What Beerus meant by "stealing it" was for Vegeta to watch him "exercise to stay awake" (train) so that Vegeta can watch him and copy him through sight. This way, Beerus circumvents the typical Teacher-Student dynamic (which he must view as a chore) and still trains Vegeta indirectly.

I actually like how there are exploring other characters and how they are directing Vegeta into having hopefully another form, and involving the money and information is stronger than any Ultra Instinct technique I really like that I really do let them continue this direction and hopefully in the anime it can be included when Dragon Ball super comes back whenever it comes back, in whatever way it comes back.

UI Goku Vs Whis was literally just a new Black Belt student Vs the Master, where the student basically realizes that there are still have a ways to go, despite being a Black Belt. Basically how, in some martial arts, there are Black Belt degrees! Think of UI Goku as a base Black Belt (Actually, let's make him a 3rd degree, as he's basically honed UI a bit since the ToP, 3rd degree being Professor status), then think of Whis as a 7th degree Black Belt (AKA a Grand Master), but above those two, you have the GP who is a 10th degree Red Belt (Some Martial Arts have the Red Belt above the Black Belt) which is Great Grand Master status.

I don't think that Beerus technique just by definition is "on par with UI". I think it couples with what Whis was explaining to Goku here. There are levels to UI, so similarly there may be levels to this new technique. But if the Grand Priest knows UI that's most likely the cap of power. So my theory is that UI and this new technique will be the final "forms" of Goku and Vegeta, but they will go back and forth in who is stronger based on training. However Goku will inevitably be stronger because his overall cap potential will be higher. Sooo EVENTUALY Goku may be stronger than Beerus as well, since angels (whom constantly are in UI) are stronger than gods of destruction.

I was never one to assume Goku surpassed beerus but this just adds to it, I knew UI wasn't the end all be all technique. I mentioned previously that UI was just the gateway to other abilities of the Gods. Im glad they are acknowledging that! We already saw that Beerus and Whis have special sealing techniques(zamasu). it's not surprising that UI can be defeated. It's just a state not a power up, based on Buddhism and Daoism. In Buddhism they are concerned with detaching themselves of desire and the five aggregates. Goku's inner aggregates are his selfish desire to fight. He controls this desires(temporary) and that's is where the name comes from: "the secret of selfishness".
As for the rest of the leaks, I'm glad they took off his headpiece. It seems this Granola character is a reference to a one shot manga Toriyama did a while back. Which is Kintoki. It's about a special race of humans that have a special eye and high marksmanship. Interesting developments!

Dabura may be king, and very strong. But for all we know, there could be more ancient threats within the Demon realm. Threats not even Supreme Kai knows about. Threats that people like Beerus and Whis never worried about because they were sealed or whatever excuse.
What I'm saying is, it isn't as hard to comfortably retcon that story point as you make it seem. If they did do Demon Realm in the future, I think they could think of something clever to make it really fit if they tried.

What Beerus meant by "stealing it" was for Vegeta to watch him "exercise to stay awake" (train) so that Vegeta can watch him and copy him through sight. This way, Beerus circumvents the typical Teacher-Student dynamic (which he must view as a chore) and still trains Vegeta indirectly.

I actually like how there are exploring other characters and how they are directing Vegeta into having hopefully another form, and involving the money and information is stronger than any Ultra Instinct technique I really like that I really do let them continue this direction and hopefully in the anime it can be included when Dragon Ball super comes back whenever it comes back, in whatever way it comes back.
