A quarter of the team played for team usa during the olympics and suprised rodman didnt come out to wearing a customized nwo black jersey beforebthe game
This is what separates Jordan from Lebron. When you watch Lebron you know you're watching a great player but when you watched Jordan....you knew you were watching the GREATEST player of all time.
This actually shows how important entrance themes are. I mean the moment players heard this intro they were even more pumped up and the opponents knew they were in trouble. Just look at Scottie Pippen, he is the first to come out and he gets even more pumped the moment he hears the theme. You already got half the win right there.
Say what you want....there was and has NOT been...such an introduction in sports history like this! From 91-93 and 96-98...this was a funeral song to your team👊🏿🖤🔥🏀
For those of us of a certain age, any time we hear “Sirius” we are immediately transported back to 90’s watching those Bulls games on WGN and seeing arguably the best modern dynasty in the game own their competition on a nightly basis. And it all starts with this entrance.... as an opponent going into the United Center, you basically knew you were going in there to lose, and then hearing and seeing this, just reinforces that idea even more....
For those who are interested, the song is called Sirius by the Alan Parsons Project. The Bulls were the very first team to turn out lights before the introductions. Still the best intro in sports history IMO that still gets me fired up to this day.

@@markmac2206 I was born in ‘98 so I really don’t know , but I thought the 90’s bulls been using the same stadium (United Center)
@@darkboltzz7596 yeah the UC opened in 94 and now i feel very old. 😂
@@markmac2206 Chicago Stadium was also an older wooden building - so it wasn't just LOUD but everything in it was vibrating; the 2nd & 3rd levels would sway slightly as everyone rose to their feet and started cheering. The introductions and big moments in the game weren't just seen and heard but they were also physically felt as the building responded to what was happening.
It was amazing.
One team was so absolutely iconic that twenty years later, your intro music is synonymous with an entire decade.
Growing up in 1990s Chicago, and being live to see Bulls play at home…there was nothing like it!
growing up in the 90s war-torn croatia.. man.. you were living my dream life, lol
First of all, thanks for your comment. It was really eye-opening, on that I never considered myself as “living the dream”, but you’ve given me lots of perspective.
Also, was Toni Kukoc popular at home? I mean we loved him on The Bulls…
Damn, I'm really happy for you. It must have been a smth smth.
*Karl Malone has left the chat*

Karl Malone probably bring axe with him all time in case this song is played

The Dream Team
A big respect for the Celtics 60's and Lakers 80's teams, but man...the Chicago Bulls were like from another planet
Comepltely agree wasn't so much that they beat you into the ground, they were much worse then that. They had a habit of ripping your heart out in big plays and letting it die in front of you. No team was that lethal when it came to winning the truest were special and it started with MJ
+Tumaq1 The 95-96 Bulls squad was GOAT. No doubt about it. We'll never see a team like that again.
From Mars. We all know that.
@@frankiewhite5430 I agree those teams were stacked. The Bulls did more with less though.
Ikr
As a 12 year old I saw MJ play against the Nets in 91. He put up 41 points. So lucky to witness greatness
Dont u just get goosebumps everytime the PA says. "From North Caaarolina, 6/6, Michaeeeeel Jorrrrdan!!!"
uh yeah
everytime !!!!
+MetalThunderForce I got goosebumps READING it!!!!
Even more when the announcer says FROM CHIICAAAGOOOO 6"3' DERRICK ROSE
+Shadow Gaming lol funny
And now ABC cuts out the starting lineups from every Finals game. They need to bring this back.
@Kal Sium and if the NBA goes back to NBC, you know what else is coming back...Roundball Rock.
@@MailmanRSO BUH BUH BUH BUH BUH BUH BASKETBALL GIMMIE GIMMIE THE BALL CAUSE IM GONNA DUNK IT!

You damn right about that. The Bulls were the thing back then
Perfect description. Same.
Respect
Thank the mighty Alan Parsons.
@@norbath1650 And the mighty Ray Clay!
I wasn't present at that time, but I can't deny that the 90s were the golden era of basketball
You heard this song on a away game you knew your season was done for. Still get chills to this day.
lmfao
If only basketball could be like this again. This was when it was amazing
I agree
Yeah, especially Bulls b-ball.
It can be too damnit, just a few rule changes which make points mean something again and we are back in business.
Best Intro , Best Team , Best Player of All Time.
Its my life 🐂🍺
Best coach too
best logo, best jersey
And the best PA announcer (Ray Clay)... and the best commentators (Marv Albert, Among others etc)... from the best network (NBC) with the best theme song ("Roundball Rock Audio Original").
could not agree more
Best basketball player of all time, arguably the best team, and the best intro ever. Just a perfect storm at the perfect time. And I was lucky enough to grow up with it.
Might be the greatest arena intro music ever - and I'm not even a Chicago fan. Chills down the spine!
Me too
It’s called Sirius by the Alan Parsons project.
Am I the only who gets teary eyed because of the nostalgia?
Nope. Go back to being a kid again.
Not at all!
I wasn't born until 1997, yet this makes me nostalgic for a time I never got to see
Oh not by a long shot. I didn't even start watching basketball until I was in college over a decade ago. But the feeling of sheer greatness and civic pride that this evokes is palpable indeed. Everything about it is just carefully chosen to psych up everyone who witnesses it.
Chicago doesn't have much to be proud of; I know, I've been there. But to have hosted this era of sports history made it special for quite some time.
@@traviscummings9178me too man I start shedding tears and I didn’t even get a chance to see any of this live
I'm a die hard knicks fan and everytime I heard this song in the 90s I almost crapped my pants. Talk about intimidation.
just wait for this season,Rose is back to 100%,and the Bulls in general will NOT be fucked with ;)
Christopher Brown bulls vs okc finals
Christopher Brown
You _do know_ he's hurt again, right?
***** yep,and the comments he made after twisting his ankle were fucking stupid,he shouldve kept those comments about him wanting to be healthy for his 2 year old's high school graduation to himself, they made him look like a selfish egotistical little twit
Christopher Brown
I hadn't heard about that, but those comments do make him sound selfish and egotistical. Kinda sad, really. Not something MJ and Scottie would have done. Rodman, _maybe_. :)
Best intro of All Time for all sports
I used to watch the 90s Bulls as a kid growing up in SC
I’m almost 40 now and this still gives me chills and fires me up 🔥
Man to have been inside that arena during this Intro 👀 💣 💥
I just went 82-0 listening to this 😂😁🤣

And Jerry Krause still would have made it your last season if you were Phil Jackson.
So you like the Alan Parsons Project.

This is how I plan to introduce my future wedding party at the reception.
A facebook video of a groom who used this for his entrance brought me here lol. Is it you?
Grace Mukudzei Chikumbirike lol no but it will be someday
Good idea dude !
Alejandro Franchini right? Whenever I get married I’m gonna ask her “can I do this for just the reception? You can have everything else that day just let me have this music and each member of the party has a special handshake”
Alejandro Franchini at my best friends wedding each groomsman had to come up with special handshakes with the respective bridesmaids. Mine was a side to side high five and then we crossed our arms into an X and hit em together. Was pretty fun.

Every comment on here is absolutely spot on. The first strum of bass happens and you know what time it is. Immense and unforgettable - great times, great memories and still goosebumps. I’m 44 and my heart rate goes up when I hear this.
I was in middle school and I vividly remember huddling with other kids talking about Michael Jordan in class. We were Texans watching Chicago Bulls. Michael Jordan was every kids hero.
@JDINI back when $100 was expensive for shoes. now that gets you 3/4 of 1 shoe.
Nice, I would watch the Bulls and I had the Nike Air Pennys on (this was 6th grade mid 90s).

The energy in that crowd is amazing. I still get chills listening today
They have Michael Jordan.
You have a loss.
Man, oh man. Bulls fan here. This intro never got old. When the Bulls used to play at Chicago Stadium, the crowd was so loud with this intro that you felt that old building shake. The United Center was loud too with the last 3 peat. I'm so glad that I got to see the Bulls win all 6 titles. What a dynasty.

the old stadium gm 6 mini bullhorn night. 1990 The loudest stadium I've ever been in. The old barn was awesome.

That’s cool. I’m a Bulls fan from Chicago as well. (You spelled Chicago wrong just in case you didn’t know)
Just for the Record: The Music is "Sirius" by The Alan Parsons Project from their Album "Eye in the Sky".
Ricardo Velasco you the real MVP 😢🏆👏
Ricardo Velasco yeah.. the brightest star means, sirius.
"you the real MVP"
I can't believe there are people that don't know this....I guess I'm getting old
A quarter of the team played for team usa during the olympics and suprised rodman didnt come out to wearing a customized nwo black jersey beforebthe game
Correction - It's Sirius / Eye In The Sky as the first few seconds of that latter can be heard. Just sayin'..................
As a kid growing up in the 90s with WGN on cable, this announcer's voice as well as Harry Carry are the voices of my childhood.
This is what separates Jordan from Lebron. When you watch Lebron you know you're watching a great player but when you watched Jordan....you knew you were watching the GREATEST player of all time.
Shut the fuck up^
Steve Hall stfu
Steve Hall lol.. you do know MJ has 1 defensive player of the year award and an NBA's 3 time steals leader..
Steve Hall It's "Lebron".
fatback777 Perfect Response...
This actually shows how important entrance themes are. I mean the moment players heard this intro they were even more pumped up and the opponents knew they were in trouble. Just look at Scottie Pippen, he is the first to come out and he gets even more pumped the moment he hears the theme. You already got half the win right there.
That's because this tune has gravitas...
The greatest team of all team and the greatest intro of all time.
Say what you want....there was and has NOT been...such an introduction in sports history like this! From 91-93 and 96-98...this was a funeral song to your team👊🏿🖤🔥🏀

Absolutely. You can't understate how monumental rodman, jordan and pippen were on defense.

As a lifelong Celtics fan, this Bullls intro still gives me chills!
19 years later & the chills are still too real
For those of us of a certain age, any time we hear “Sirius” we are immediately transported back to 90’s watching those Bulls games on WGN and seeing arguably the best modern dynasty in the game own their competition on a nightly basis. And it all starts with this entrance.... as an opponent going into the United Center, you basically knew you were going in there to lose, and then hearing and seeing this, just reinforces that idea even more....
hell yeah. as soon as the theme starts, we're transported to that time and the chills start
Worked like a charm 😂
I remember being 12, watching this on tv in a little rural town in Mexico. This was the peak of hype, and for me still is.
Wow. 👀

For those who are interested, the song is called Sirius by the Alan Parsons Project.
The Bulls were the very first team to turn out lights before the introductions. Still the best intro in sports history IMO that still gets me fired up to this day.
