This is amazing. Its like third time I'm watching it. The cinematic feel is incredible. The NBC music, the era, the crowd. The players. Good lord this was truly the golden era. I miss it so much.

Stockton didn't really have a standout game, but him rolling in with the kids in the mini van is still a colder entrance than these guys now walking in looking like extras from Zoolander.
That 3 he hit near the end of the game would have been a finisher against pretty much any other team. Jordan put together 3 crazy plays to get that lead back.
Kuzma’s pink Thnead was pretty cool. Bringing Dr. Seuss to the NBA runway. And what if his arms suddenly grew 9 inches? Then he would have a perfect size sweater😊
thank you for this. saw this live when i was 15. couldn't believe what Jordan did in those final seconds. 41 now and i still get goosebumps watching this. brings back great memories
Seen this on RUclips a few years ago. Its like they took the game and made it into a movie. Truly a legendary game. If there was ever a player that didnt have ANY help it was MJ in the 4th quarter.
They recorded the Charlotte Hornets series and multiple practices in this cinematic/ pro shot style too. We see the clips on the Last Dance. Supposedly most of the Bulls playoff games were filmed that year like this. Hope we get more footage like this one day.
What makes Michael Jordan the GOAT is that he is the only all time great player who plays the highest level offense, the highest level of defense, but is also a closer.. not only is he a closer, he is the greatest closer in NBA history.
I remember watching this live. MJ kept missing shots in the 4th qtr. Then he took over. Layup, stripped Malone, made the go ahead bucket. Pure poetry. Everyone knew this was it. The last dance, game 6 on the road. The pressure to finish on top. 23 pts at the half, his jersey number. Finished with 45 his comeback jersey number. So grateful to have witnessed this. We’re all grateful for 23 in red…
Thanks AOH! This is awesome. Born and raised in Chi-town, so this feels like it was just yesterday. These Championship years were our glory years of course but, I tell you there was nothing like watching MJ pre 91 and just how incredible he was during the journey to the first championship. Sure he was a smarter player during this game and during the championship years but, his pure athleticism days in the mid to late 80’s were simply incredible. (Edit - Even being the GOAT, notice how MJ still has respect for Phil and Tex etc. He was mature, intelligent, humble, and a real leader. Qualities you never see in Lebron. His immaturity alone is why he will never be in the GOAT conversation.)
💯, Jordan throughout his career even his post career, has conducted himself in a manner worthy of being considered the best the nba has produced in its history. Jordan respected the sacrifice and the steps required for any athlete to be at their best and to win, thats why he's the standard across sports. Jordan unlike alot of today's nbaers respected the fans and that the league would be nothing without them, therefore you put on a show for those who paid to see you play every night. No sense of immaturity and entitlement that you see in many players today.

They definitely have lots of camera footage but it’s not gonna be edited into a “cinematic version” like this is.Its a ton of work to put this together.I believe it was only done for the Last Dance documentary as bonus material you’d get on a Blu-Ray.
Probably have watched this game 12 times now. My favorite basketball game of all time. I was a huge Jazz fan at the time and Jordan was just that good. Scotty had grit but was a shell of himself and Malone was an absolute beast during this whole game (despite that exquisite pickpocket by Jordan.) Thanks for sharing it with me once again :)
🍇THE GOSPEL OF THE WORD OF ALMIGHTY GOD "the last age brought by Christ to purify man with His Word" Almighty God said When God speaks, it usually COMES FROM HEAVEN to EARTH, and sometimes from the earth, leaving all people unable to understand the MOTIVES and origin of GOD'S WORDS. "When I am in the sky, the stars never feel afraid of My presence. Instead, they focus their hearts on their work for Me." Such is the state of heaven. God is methodically planning everything in the THIRD HEAVEN, with ALL SERVANTS SERVING GOD DOING THEIR OWN WORK for GOD. They NEVER DID ANYTHING that was DISOBEDIENT to GOD, therefore, they did NOT FEEL the FEAR that GOD SAYS, but INSTEAD they set their HEART on their WORK; There has NEVER been any CONFUSION, and thus all ANGELS LIVE in LIGHTof GOD. Meanwhile, because of their disobedience, and because they do not know God, all people on earth live in DARKNESS, and the more they oppose God, the more they live in darkness. When God says, "When the heavens are brighter, the earth beneath is darker," He is referring to how the day of God is drawing nearer to all mankind. THEREFORE, the 6,000 years of GOD'S TROUBLE in the THIRD HEAVEN is NEARLY OVER. 🔴🙏 ALL THINGS ON EARTH HAVE ENTERED THE LAST CHAPTER, and are about to be REMOVED from GOD'S HAND. The more people ENTER into the LAST DAYS, the more they taste the CORRUPTION in the WORLD of MAN; the more they enter into the LAST DAYS, the more they DEVICE their OWN FLESH. There are even many who wish to reverse the miserable state of the world, but their hope is lost in the middle of their sighs, because of the WORKS of God. Thus, when people feel the warmth of spring, God covers their eyes, and thus they float on the rolling waves, not one of them is able to reach the distant rescue boat. Because people are weak by nature, God said, no one can restore things--things. When people lose hope, God begins to speak to the entire universe. He BEGINS to SAVE all mankind, and only then are people able to enjoy the new life that COMES when things are restored. 🔴 Today's PEOPLE are in a STAGE OF SELF-DECEPTION. Because the WAY AHEAD of them is so bleak and UNCLEAR, and because their FUTURE is "limitless" and "eternal," the people of this age have no inclination to FIGHT, and can only spend their days like the Hanhao bird. 😪🙏 No one has ever been serious about the pursuit of life and the knowledge of human life; instead, they wait for the day when the Savior will suddenly descend from heaven to reverse the miserable state of the World, only then will they attempt to liveenthusiastically. Such is the true condition of all humanity and the mentality of all people. NOW, God says from the beginning, because of the current MENTALITY OF MAN, the NEW LIFE OF MAN IN THE FUTURE. This is the emergence of the spark of LIGHT, which GOD SPECIFIES. What GOD SAYS in the beginning is what GOD WILL ACHIEVE IN THE LAST, and the FRUITS of GOD'S VICTORY AGAINST SATAN: "I move over all people and I observe everywhere. Nothing ever LOOKS OLD, and NO ONE IS THE SAME. I BREATHE on the THRONE, I lean ABOVE the entire universe...." 🙏 This is the RESULT of God's current WORK. ALL GOD'S CHOSEN PEOPLE RETURN TO THEIR ORIGINAL FORM, WHICH IS THE REASON WHY THE ANGELS, WHO SUFFERED FOR SO MANY YEARS, ARE FREED, AS GOD SAYS "their countenance is like that of the holy in heart of man." Because ANGELS WORK inEARTH and SERVING GOD on EARTH, and GOD'S GLORY SPREADS and spreads throughout the world, BRINGING HEAVEN to EARTH, and RAISING EARTH to HEAVEN. 🙏 Therefore, MAN is the link that CONNECTS HEAVEN and EARTH; HEAVEN and EARTH are NOT separate, NOT separate, but connected as one.🙏 In the whole world, only God and man exist. There is no dust or dirt, and all things are made new, like a young lamb lying on green grass under heaven, ENJOYING ALL THE GRACE OF GOD. 🙏🔴 And because of the COMING of this greenness, the breath of life rises, because GOD COMES to the WORLD to LIVE next to MAN in all eternity, as it was said from the MOUTH of GOD that "I will again dwell in peace within of Zion." This is the SYMBOL of DEFEATof SATAN; this is God's day of rest, and this day ALL PEOPLE WILL PRAISE and DECLARE, and ALL PEOPLE WILL REMEMBER. 🙏 When God rests on the throne, that is also the time when God finishes His work on earth, and that is the very moment that all the MYSTERIES of GOD are SHOWN to MAN; GOD and MAN will be forever RECONCILED, NEVER separated---so are the GOOD onesencounter with the KINGDOM. 🔴 There are HIDDEN MYSTERIES among MYSTERIES; the WORDS of GOD are truly DEEP and unfathomable! 🙏 From "The Word Appears in the Flesh" Fulfillment of (John 1:1) and (Revelation 18:9,13) The Savior has returned and He or Christ fulfilled His building of the kingdom/church on top of the rock or standing in the worthy holy place in the air/RUclips! When He came He fulfilled what was prophesied in the book of Revelation and from there it is recorded that He changed a new name and the name of His city from ("THE CHURCH OF ALMIGHTY GOD" 💐) "The Epistle to the church of Philadelphia" "The one who overcomes is I will make a pillar in thetemple of my God, and he shall not be removed from it forever. I will engrave on him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, the new Jerusalem that will come down out of heaven from my God. I will also engrave him with my new name. (Revelation 3:12). ... "The Reign of the Prince of Peace" "For a baby boy is born and he will rule over us. He is the wonderful counselor, the Almighty God, the eternal Father, the Prince of peace." (Isaiah 9:6). ... "For the Lamb in the midst of the throne will be their SHEPHERD. He will lead them to springs of life-giving water; and God will wipe away the tears from their eyes." (Revelation 7:17). "They said together, "Salvation comes from the Lamb, and from our God who sits on the throne!" (Revelation 7:10). ... So God's sheep and the right people He created have come to His holy city the New Jerusalem that will only last on earth for 1,000 years "THE CHURCH OF ALMIGHTY GOD"💐
Chills. Thanks so much, AOH, for posting this. Brings back so many memories and feelings. After MJ spoke to Ahmad at the end, we all had thought it possible that everyone was going to come back for 99. I still can't shake the disappointment of seeing this team broken up.
Saw this on the last dance blu-ray. This is proof how harder the game was then and the physicality that came with it. Any child that thinks todays game is more advanced and tougher is delusional. This is PRO basketball at its finest.
You guys are so delusional. The only thing making it "harder" in this game is the lack of dribbling, shooting, and finishing skill. Phantom foul calls, nothing physical (such a myth) and poor shooting and smoking wide open layups while everyone on the floor is less athletic than players today is what made it so "hard"
@@dox99948 what's "delusional" is that you think todays game resembles the SPORT of basketball, which it does not. The lack of dribbling is because proper defence existed, proper positions existed, and most importantly, players DID NOT HAVE ROOM TO DO WHATEVER THEY WANTED. The game back then was FAR more strategised and defensively dominant, hence the lower scoring and lack of 3's (also due to lack of spacing again). Defences back then were legitimately suffocating, and shot clocks would be more fully utilised due to each team SEARCHING for a scoring opportunity in each possession. Shooting was "poorer" due to, again, REAL DEFENCES against each player. Each basket had real weight, 3s had real weight, and smaller leads such as 1-2 points meant that the down team would respond with furious defensive strategies. These things do not exist in the modern NBA, in fact a lot of rules in todays NBA aren't even adhered to (a big one, travel, is almost LEGAL), let alone fundamentals of the true game. Players now have no real defences contesting against them, full court pressure doesn't exist, and nobody wants to go inside because they're terrified of physicality. Players from Europe come over and laugh bc today’s NBA is so easy, its why they dominate the NBA now. You're literally trying to polish a stinking turd. TODAY is the “most talented era ever”? Ratings are currently PLUMMETING: NBA viewership is down 48% since 2012 and 28% on ESPN year-over-year. Meanwhile, this 1998 NBA Finals game remains the absolute PINNACLE of viewership almost 30 years later, back from a time when internet based television broadcasting didn't exist.
The last couple of possessions are an absolute masterclass in how to close out a game. Of course, hindsight is 20/20, but MJ was just flawless when it counted. Every single time. I was amazed back then and I'm still amazed 27 years after the fact. That man is basketball incarnate.
This game is one of the best ever for me and watching it with those mulitple camera angels feels like watching it live in Utah. Many childhood memories come back watching games like that.
Thanks AOH. You don't see games like this anymore. They had so much intensity, and there is such a cinematic feel to it. Today's game consists of the players chucking up 3's and hoping it will go in. JJ Reddick was interviewed today and says that their game plan is to have his players shoot 50 3's per game. Such sad times for the once great NBA
Bulls looked old tired at the end of this second 3peat. Jordan playing 82 games 3 years in a row was definitely taking a toll. This championship was pure grit, including getting through Indiana
What stands out … 1. No cell phones. 2. The fans dressed in street clothes and not all decked out in jerseys like they may be asked to play. 3. Bob Costas is a moron. 4. How much better the game is when they play defense.
It's the defense for me. Man can you imagine LeBron playing in this kind of league? He'd by crying all night long. And how would he score if he's also a bad free throw shooter 😂
What a poor stance to take. Being a "hater" means you fully understood the person and the era, and not only found nothing redeeming, but felt they were actively negating others. If watching one thing makes you pivot, that means you did none of the above. You don't have to like a person, but to hate them based on very little is irrational, and I'm sorry to say really demonstrates the worst of humanity.
That last closing statement by Bob Costas really sums up what MJ was, "he's authentic, his essence is so much deeper than just image..." Something that we can never say about the self proclaimed false king of today.
This was my childhood it never gets old - as of this year I went to my favorite stadium in the world the united center growing up in the east cost now living in CA !!!
Peak delusion lol, he’s bigger stronger and faster than almost any player in the 90s, he’d have no problem handling the “physicality”. Muggsy Bogues was fine in the 90s but a 6’9 250lb athletic freak wouldn’t survive?🤣🤣🤣
@@redpillfreedom6692 players adapt their game to their respective era and to what refs call. If you think that a professional nba player loses all his effectiveness by doing one less step or by dribbling in a certain way, that’s your problem, it’s simply wrong
@@Robss_ With those rules in place, he'd have to rely on his mediocre jumpshot. Even after two decades, that shot hasn't gotten any better. Even without those restrictions, he's a mediocre dribbler as well. He'd break the record for turnovers in a season multiple times.
Great basketball. What a performance from Michael, arguably the greatest performance in finals history all things considered, how he closed this game the last 3 possessions is just insane ..
WOw,these moments were incredible 2 watch,Stockton being so clutch as always, but Jordan was able 2 stay his focus also and be the rockstar in the clutch,,,,so legendary, thatz why he is the truth,,,nuff said,Merry Christmas 2 all and 2 all a good SHRED,Peace...
look at the crowd, the game was amazing, watch a game now, if you can....back in 1996 or 97 a friend had 2 tickets for me, down close to the court, i showed up to pick them up, he said sorry Rob, i sold them for what the 2 season tickets cost for the year, it was my one chance to watch Jordan and in the playoffs, cant remember the exact year, sonics vs bulls, you had to fight for a ticket, now a nba in season game tickets are worth as much as the Wnba
I was in my third year of high school in China at this game time, and at then was in the morning. I told my teacher, let me watch this game, I promise you that I will get into college. In the end, MJ won his sixth championship and I was admitted to college.
The quality looks great! Thanks AOH, I much appreciate... This got me excited, and instigates a flash back to 98. So we and the interwebs will have to endure my ramblesome rant. "Allow myself, to ramble to...myself. By my self. In hope that it is read by one other else." In Australia, we didn't get to watch the FULL games, instead entire games were SQUEEZED into a 1 hour slot for NBC. Minus the ads, the NBA footage shown was about 35-40mins max. One NBA game per week shown internationally. Quality was below 144p in 25 fps back then...on tiny little wooden framed televisions. CONVERTING VHS to DIGITAL? If I converted my VHS tapes to digital, the source quality would be 144p, which when watched full-screen on big TV's, looks like one big pixel blur. 🙃 Shame because, alongside my basketball card collection, with autographed Shaq rookie card worth mention, I have priceless recordings of RARE episodes of "NBA ACTION" show. IDK if NBA ACTION aired in the US, as most people I talked to about it, only reminisce on "INSIDE STUFF" show. Claiming it was their favorite NBA wrap show, but I perfer "NBA ACTION" show. "Nike NBA Action", is and was, the GREATEST sports show. "Holding Court" each week, one the top performers would have a segment all about them and their progress. This show enabled us international fans, to familiarise ourselves with "who is who." IMO, this show was MOST impactful marketing of NBA to the world. For most countries outside USA, only got 1 game per week televised...NBA ACTION show would summarise ALL that happened in the NBA each week. Anyway, all rambling aside, we got majorly abbreviated edited games. Which is why I appreciate you for sharing this full unedited game (without ads too).
Before NBA went to pay TV, NBA games were very scarce internationally. ONLY 1 measly game per week on national TV, broadcast internationally. Plus a 30 min show of NBA ACTION. I'd wait all week, hoping the game would be Bulls playing. NBA ACTION is captivating from start to emphatic finish. And it was NOT all about Jordan! This show fairly focused on all teams and players evenly Contrary to modern NBA shows, which constantly mention Lebron...CENTERING primarily around his shit-shamble career, and over-hype legacy. Players from losing teams, fairly got their spot in the limelight, when they performed well. (e.g. In 1996, the 76'ERS were perpetually losing and seemingly irrelevant in the mid to late 90's. So they were never mentioned internationally, as only major TEAMS would get aired in our 1 game per week slot on TV. Main teams shown in game of the week, were Blazers, Bulls, Lakers, Knicks, Pacers, Rockets, Sonics, Spurs, and Suns. So without NBA Action, the outside world would be utterly IGNORANT of all the other NBA teams, and their players. Thankfully, budding superstar Allen Iverson was a regularly shown BURNING opponents in NBA ACTION. I saw summary of his rookie season, and his impact was the closest to MJ's rookie year impact. It blew my mind to see him offensively take over the league as a rookie. Schooling perennial all-stars, humiliating juggernaught defender Gary Payton, etc. If the 76ERS won 3 games in a row, they would get a spot on that week's episode. Due to Iverson's amazing single-player performances and shattering Wilt's record, we saw much footage of 76ERS, even though they only won 22-60 games in 1996-97. NBA ACTION is a major highlight of my childhood. Episode's end with TOP 10 plays of the week. This link is FINAL EPISODE of 1998, in decent quality, with Top 10 PLAYS OF THE YEAR!!! Enjoy! ruclips.net/video/eTQiyEhLu1s/видео.html
#1 PLAY of the YEAR was a SUPRISE to top off the ultimate career. Another accolade added to the most illustrious career. Earlier, the WRONG link was posted, to different eipsode....in the above comment link. (Fixed it now, updated link). Was meant to be the FINAL episode of the 1998 season. In 90's NBA ACTION, we did NOT have to listen to analysts biased opinions, false narratives, and financially incentivised agendas of propaganda. Instead, we got unadulterated basketball raw! "Oh but, without sports analysts we would NOT be able to hear Shaq, Kenny and Chuck talk basketball." Yes! Instead we got to watch them PLAY basketball! Although I enjoy their rants and humor, who in their right mind would prefer the latter than the former? For those who concur, what would you prefer? BTW: The commentator in NBA ACTION has the best voice for narrating sports! Much prefer him to Marv Albert. All Marv ever says is, "Jordan, YES!" That is vague commentary subsequent. It doesn't describe the on-court action, nor emphasis in any context. Predict that a hater will think to themselves, in their own primitively illiterate speech, paraphrased: "OMG, now he is replying to himself, by himself, for himself. With total disregard for the disapproval of anybody else!"
In the altercation with Rodman and Malone, the idiotic ref was point blank range, and biasedly called a flagrant on Rodman for tripping. But since the quality of the CINEMATIC is so good and unique close ups, we can clearly see that on the final collision stumble, Malone trips over his own foot, or over rodman...and Dennis did NOT even grab his leg. Those refs are incompetent, especially for an NBA finals. The bad call on Howard Eisley's buzzer beater 3, was pathetic. That 3 should've counted, and then later they made more crucial mistakes for Bulls disadvantage too. As a Australian, I am utterly DISGUSTED at Luc Longley's lack luster defense and attitude towards rebounding and boxing out. Numerous times he allowed small players to get in front of him, right under the basket for offensive rebounds, when he had the predominant positioning. Seeing the games up close and personal, we understand why Jordan excluded Longley from the LAST DANCE. There was a huge outcry of injustice from my fellow country men, claiming it was WRONG of Jordan to exclude any meniton of Longley in the LAST DANCE. But seeing Longley's carelessness and outright complacency, on the major stage, the MOST important game of his career, Game 6 of 98 NBA finals...shows he brought that on himself. There are no excuses or justifications for apathy, complacency and lack luster effort...when anyone is a highly paid professional. We can see Jordan was very PLEASED with Scottie for returning to give him moral support. Glimpses of them talking together on court, and Jordan was unusually happy, smiling and expressing appreciation to Pippen. After watching this bulls game, I just watched this full episode of NBA ACTION, and didn't know JORDAN was Holding Court. A rare tribute to the GOAT. Phil Jackson says something remarkable at 17mins, about this game 6 in 1998 NBA finals. ruclips.net/video/eTQiyEhLu1s/видео.html
@AOH You recently asked WHO is THIS GIRL? And wanted to put her on the show? Her name is Dominique, and her channel is found here. She bravely discusses Lebron's steroids allegations in one of her videos. Rare to find a girl so passionately interested in basketball. www.youtube.com/@SportzTea
this is what you call basketball, no free baskets, no drama, no flops, no travel, the defense is great, the play's are great. it's all great basketball. and they say NBA now is better? GTFO here. @1:44:02 IT is all praise to MJ and what he'd done to the league but now he's talking all trash against MJ. what a loser. 🤣🤣🤣
One thing you'll definitely notice with the zoomed-in camera shots and angles is that it is PHYSICAL out there. Everyone is jockeying for position, every loose ball, or every close rebound. The game might be slower-paced, but it's also game #102 on the season for the Bulls, and probably close to the same number for the Jazz.
Isaiah on MJ: "He's a complete player." "He's a killer." "Such a great player. Such a great person. Everything that this game is about, the goodness of it, he represents. And what he's done for the game of basketball, and for the Chicago Bulls organization, all of us as former athletes are very thankful to 23 in Red."
Was this footage MJ had recorded for The Last Dance? Or perhaps David Stern knew this was MJ's last Bulls game and had it captured in HD. Regardless, this is the greatest game I've seen. 2016 Game 7 was crazy to watch in an Oakland bar, the few annoying Lebron/Cavs fans went ballistic even though Kyrie won that game.
Yes and no. This was featured as an extra for the Last Dance Blu-Ray. Supposedly the NBA filmed the Bulls in this format for the whole playoffs that year and even some practices. The practice footage and Charlotte playoff footage in the Last Dance is an example of that being true. Some of this was used for an IMAX mini-movie also. The NBA is sitting on tons of footage like this from that run. MJ and the producers just shared this game in full with the permission from the NBA.
@@heywella Wow, that's pretty wild that all the footage hasn't all been released yet. Almost like Adam Silver doesn't want it to be. Even older Mike in 4K is clearly so fundamentally polished that it makes the triple-Euro step, minimal hustle or defense, chuck a logo 3 swill NBA we mostly have now seem even more insufferable.
@@ImportAl the practice footage on The Last Dance had Mike wearing his regular season shoes too, so I'd imagine they have footage like this from the whole season. Imagine getting pro-shot footage of Jordan's last visit to the Garden when he broke out the 1's and dropped 42. Yes, I wouldn't put it past Sliver or the "committee". It's all about business more than ever. I bet we'll see 20 Lebalco documentaries when he finally retires, before we see more of this legendary Bulls footage.
I was just thinking if this game was played today they would've all ready given out 10 technicals 5 flagrant fouls and 78 fouls 😂😂😂😂 just in the first quarter 😂😂😂😂
Man I missed the 90s. Basketball was basketball back then at its purest form. 43:44 the time that Jordan took it personally.. you never get Mike angry Lol
What a time to be alive and watching the greatest ever win his 6th ring. Best era of basketball and no other comes close. Basketball has lost so much since then!
Yall see the difference they LITERALLY SHOWED IN REPLAY Russell hitting MJ with a shot and MJ elbowing his ass back and Russell hitting M.J in the back and NO FOUL WAS CALLED AND THEY SAID THE REF WAS LIKE SHIT THEY BOTH GOT EACH OTHER KEEP PLAYING. Real Basketball and how it should still be!!!!
Notice how, on the very first possession, Jordan actually runs the play that his coach told him to; he didn't stand at the top of the key, pound the air out of the ball, and only make the pass if it led directly to an assist on his stat sheet.
@@Robss_ He'll definitely have better records with all those superteams he formed. But if you look at individual play, LeBron literally has worse stats than MJ in the clutch. lel
@@AngryOldHoops it's from "game 6 the movie". It was on youtube for a while but went away when last dance was coming out. I'm surprised it's not being struck anymore.
@@arsendragon79yeah. truth be told, that nicer medium format film can be realistically transferred into 8k digital. I'm not sure what this content was filmed on, but it would be interesting to find out.
Pippen was a warrior out there considering him being hobbled by that bad back and yet played on. Much respect to him. Unlike Luke Langley and Steve Kerr they were both non existent in that game.
Alot of people (these youngins) think that in the finals the Bulls just blew teams out. That rarely happened tbh it's what made MJ so great cuh the Bulls would be down 10/15/20 and he would just go bananas and next thing you know The Bulls are up 10 and winning the game. It was his Killer Instinct we was watching what yall call Mamba Mentality now lol
That last second coaching in the huddle 1:40:27 for Harper honestly may have been key to the win since Harp apparently got a piece of that last shot. Even with him getting the slightest touch on it, it almost went in. Crazy

Stockton didn't really have a standout game, but him rolling in with the kids in the mini van is still a colder entrance than these guys now walking in looking like extras from Zoolander.
Agreed 💯💯
That 3 he hit near the end of the game would have been a finisher against pretty much any other team. Jordan put together 3 crazy plays to get that lead back.

Kuzma’s pink Thnead was pretty cool. Bringing Dr. Seuss to the NBA runway. And what if his arms suddenly grew 9 inches? Then he would have a perfect size sweater😊
He was old and injured.
thank you for this. saw this live when i was 15. couldn't believe what Jordan did in those final seconds. 41 now and i still get goosebumps watching this. brings back great memories
Seen this on RUclips a few years ago. Its like they took the game and made it into a movie. Truly a legendary game. If there was ever a player that didnt have ANY help it was MJ in the 4th quarter.
You are the epitome of why MJ fans are dumb.

yea, last dance took a lot of footage from here
They recorded the Charlotte Hornets series and multiple practices in this cinematic/ pro shot style too. We see the clips on the Last Dance. Supposedly most of the Bulls playoff games were filmed that year like this. Hope we get more footage like this one day.
@@John_Lee_ this whole game is an extra on the Last Dance Blu-Ray
What makes Michael Jordan the GOAT is that he is the only all time great player who plays the highest level offense, the highest level of defense, but is also a closer.. not only is he a closer, he is the greatest closer in NBA history.
Certainly, he gets it done.

His ability to close makes him the GOAT
He’s 9/9 in championship games/series
Nothing but facts here.

🍇THE GOSPEL OF THE WORD OF ALMIGHTY GOD "the last age brought by Christ to purify man with His Word"
Almighty God said
When God speaks, it usually COMES FROM HEAVEN to EARTH, and sometimes from the earth, leaving all people unable to understand the MOTIVES and origin of GOD'S WORDS. 🔴🙏
ALL THINGS ON EARTH HAVE ENTERED THE LAST CHAPTER, and are about to be REMOVED from GOD'S HAND.
Today's PEOPLE are in a STAGE OF SELF-DECEPTION. Because the WAY AHEAD of them is so bleak and UNCLEAR, and because their FUTURE is "limitless" and "eternal," the people of this age have no inclination to FIGHT, and can only spend their days like the Hanhao bird. 😪🙏
No one has ever been serious about the pursuit of life and the knowledge of human life; instead, they wait for the day when the Savior will suddenly descend from heaven to reverse the miserable state of the World, only then will they attempt to liveenthusiastically.
I BREATHE on the THRONE, I lean ABOVE the entire universe...." 🙏
This is the RESULT of God's current WORK. 🙏
Therefore, MAN is the link that CONNECTS HEAVEN and EARTH; HEAVEN and EARTH are NOT separate, NOT separate, but connected as one.🙏
In the whole world, only God and man exist. There is no dust or dirt, and all things are made new, like a young lamb lying on green grass under heaven, ENJOYING ALL THE GRACE OF GOD. 🙏🔴
And because of the COMING of this greenness, the breath of life rises, because GOD COMES to the WORLD to LIVE next to MAN in all eternity, as it was said from the MOUTH of GOD that "I will again dwell in peace within of Zion." This is the SYMBOL of DEFEATof SATAN; this is God's day of rest, and this day ALL PEOPLE WILL PRAISE and DECLARE, and ALL PEOPLE WILL REMEMBER. 🙏
When God rests on the throne, that is also the time when God finishes His work on earth, and that is the very moment that all the MYSTERIES of GOD are SHOWN to MAN; GOD and MAN will be forever RECONCILED, NEVER separated---so are the GOOD onesencounter with the KINGDOM. 🔴
There are HIDDEN MYSTERIES among MYSTERIES; the WORDS of GOD are truly DEEP and unfathomable! 🙏

He is the wonderful counselor, the Almighty God, the eternal Father, the Prince of peace." Chills. Thanks so much, AOH, for posting this. Brings back so many memories and feelings. After MJ spoke to Ahmad at the end, we all had thought it possible that everyone was going to come back for 99. I still can't shake the disappointment of seeing this team broken up.
The 1999 Bulls are the worst defending champions in NBA history. From last dance to last place (in the east)
Nothing beats 90s Bulls dynasty My childhood my dream
Saw this on the last dance blu-ray. This is proof how harder the game was then and the physicality that came with it. Any child that thinks todays game is more advanced and tougher is delusional. This is PRO basketball at its finest.
Correct. Todays NBA is no more advanced than AAU basketball is. They are just older.
You are the man!! This is amazing!!! Thank you to the “Czar of the video footage!!” 🤝🏾

What a poor stance to take. Being a "hater" means you fully understood the person and the era, and not only found nothing redeeming, but felt they were actively negating others. You don't have to like a person, but to hate them based on very little is irrational, and I'm sorry to say really demonstrates the worst of humanity.

In Australia, we didn't get to watch the FULL games, instead entire games were SQUEEZED into a 1 hour slot for NBC.

One NBA game per week shown internationally.
Quality was below 144p in 25 fps back then...on tiny little wooden framed televisions.

Shame because, alongside my basketball card collection, with autographed Shaq rookie card worth mention, I have priceless recordings of RARE episodes of "NBA ACTION" show.
This show enabled us international fans, to familiarise ourselves with "who is who."
IMO, this show was MOST impactful marketing of NBA to the world.
This show fairly focused on all teams and players evenly
Contrary to modern NBA shows, which constantly mention Lebron...CENTERING primarily around his shit-shamble career, and over-hype legacy.
Enjoy!

"Oh but, without sports analysts we would NOT be able to hear Shaq, Kenny and Chuck talk basketball."
Yes! Instead we got to watch them PLAY basketball!
Although I enjoy their rants and humor, who in their right mind would prefer the latter than the former?
For those who concur, what would you prefer?
BTW:
The commentator in NBA ACTION has the best voice for narrating sports!
Much prefer him to Marv Albert.
All Marv ever says is, "Jordan, YES!"
That is vague commentary subsequent. It doesn't describe the on-court action, nor emphasis in any context.
Predict that a hater will think to themselves, in their own primitively illiterate speech, paraphrased:
"OMG, now he is replying to himself, by himself, for himself.

Yeah he's on LeBron's payroll these days 😂
And it’s obvious in this game that noone cared about stats back then (in a way of trying to glorify yourself). It was about winning the game!!!!
Mj traveled in the 2nd quarter
One thing you'll definitely notice with the zoomed-in camera shots and angles is that it is PHYSICAL out there. Everyone is jockeying for position, every loose ball, or every close rebound. The game might be slower-paced, but it's also game #102 on the season for the Bulls, and probably close to the same number for the Jazz.

😂😂😂😂😂
Man I missed the 90s. Basketball was basketball back then at its purest form. 43:44 the time that Jordan took it personally.. you never get Mike angry Lol
What a time to be alive and watching the greatest ever win his 6th ring.
Best era of basketball and no other comes close. Basketball has lost
so much since then!
#bringbackthegame So much stronger, interesting and exciting in the 80s 90s 00s
Pippen was such a liability this game. He should have sat after that first dunk.
I gotta watch this soon as I get off work
To see this live was amazing. I was 16 years old.
video quality is superb
That's basketball!
Thanks AOH
Yall see the difference they LITERALLY SHOWED IN REPLAY Russell hitting MJ with a shot and MJ elbowing his ass back and Russell hitting M.J in the back and NO FOUL WAS CALLED AND THEY SAID THE REF WAS LIKE SHIT THEY BOTH GOT EACH OTHER KEEP PLAYING. Real Basketball and how it should still be!!!!
The things we don’t on tv
И слава Богу, что баскетбол остался такой игрой, а не скатился к дракам, как в хоккее и боксе, где может и рефери достаться.😅
You're the man AOH
The high point of NBA, was nothing like that ever since. I was a teen who stayed up in Europe until 6am watching this.
Notice how, on the very first possession, Jordan actually runs the play that his coach told him to; he didn't stand at the top of the key, pound the air out of the ball, and only make the pass if it led directly to an assist on his stat sheet.
🙏 Thx AoH
Insane that they called Kerr for an offensive foul when the defender ran into him (32:58).
The GOAT finisher. You want a win give it to MJ you want a lost give it to Lebum.
Lebron actually has a better record in close out games than Jordan
@@Robss_😂😂😂🎉
@@Robss_idiot what record????
@@Robss_
He'll definitely have better records with all those superteams he formed. But if you look at individual play, LeBron literally has worse stats than MJ in the clutch. lel
@@sealoftheliving4998 in close out games, can’t you read? Are you slow?
Love watching the verbal battle between Malone & Rodman. Those two would go at it all day and all night anywhere
the quality of this image are amazing!
AOH…..how in the hell do you get your footage of these games? Great POV of this game. I really miss this era of basketball.
I'm trying to figure out how the guy I got this from got the footage!
@@AngryOldHoops it's from "game 6 the movie". It was on youtube for a while but went away when last dance was coming out. I'm surprised it's not being struck anymore.
I'm guessing it was shot on film. Much like the old movies back in the day, they can easily transfer them into 4k with a remaster.
@@arsendragon79yeah. truth be told, that nicer medium format film can be realistically transferred into 8k digital.
I'm not sure what this content was filmed on, but it would be interesting to find out.
no pippen, but the bronsexuals say MJ couldn't win without him 😂
Pippen was a warrior out there considering him being hobbled by that bad back and yet played on. Much respect to him. Unlike Luke Langley and Steve Kerr they were both non existent in that game.
watching this game in hd is better and more interesting than watching all nba playoffs since 2010
real golden era
Unc spotted
Alot of people (these youngins) think that in the finals the Bulls just blew teams out. That rarely happened tbh it's what made MJ so great cuh the Bulls would be down 10/15/20 and he would just go bananas and next thing you know The Bulls are up 10 and winning the game. It was his Killer Instinct we was watching what yall call Mamba Mentality now lol
Watching the defense being played is amazing. Something the NBA lacks today.
I love watching Stockton play
peak basketball. no blowouts...just fundamentals, skill, and that will to win.
That last second coaching in the huddle 1:40:27 for Harper honestly may have been key to the win since Harp apparently got a piece of that last shot. Even with him getting the slightest touch on it, it almost went in. Crazy
