Tbh, the way I stumbled upon this game is because I was watching a small doc on Chris Farley & this was the last night Chris Farley was alive & he died in Chicago like 3 miles away from the United center. He ended up dying at like 2 in the morning on December 18th. RIP Chris Farley! 🙏🏼🙏🏼

I love that the commercials were included in this video, brings me back to that time as much if not more than the actual game itself. I remember seeing all of this as it was happening. Life was so simple and fun back then even for adults but it was a great time to be a fan of the NBA, it was the golden era for sure. It was never this popular or this great ever again nor will it ever be

There was a reason Kobe came off the bench in his first couple seasons: Eddie Jones. He was that veteran player who at his peak resembled early Kobe years. Plus, Eddie was more established than Kobe playing the same position. But it's not to say Kobe never started a game before Phil Jackson came along. He would when Eddie was on the injured list. And you gotta take into the fact that Kobe was only a 19yr old kid who was blessed to be on a winning team. So there was no incentive to have him be an immediate impact player right off the bat like rookie KG had to in Minnesota, who were mediocre then.

RIP KOBE an icon upmost respect But i want to be real they said kobe gave Jordan a hard time which he did but if he would have faced Jordan from 87-92 Kobe wouldn't have gave Jordan as much of a hard time. That's no knock on kobe imo he's #2 no one is topping Jordan NEVER!!!

The way old heads talk about this era is like the bulls could crush any modern team... But the reality is the skill level is obviously so much lower than modern era. The slow offensive pace, crappy hook shots thrown up, missed layups, and 0 off-ball movement .. goes to show how far the game has come

Kobe plyd in both eras, to all the people saying the players of today's era would ball out in the 90s, Kobe, one of the best ever, didn't average 30-40 points like yal say LeBron, KD, Curry etc. would...why is that?

A reminder of who is the G.O.A.T and why. Also why the Bulls were feared as the team to beat when Jordan was there. What a terrible, terrible game by the Lakers and an even worse coaching job by Del Harris👎! The worst officiating I've ever seen and I remember back then that the refs for the Bulls were under suspicion for betting on games👎. Still Rooks 👎, Campbell 👎, Jones 👎, Fox, 👎, Horry 👎, Van Exel 👎. The only Lakers that played decently was Kobe Bryant.

Spurs wouldn't get them if they did that man. Pip and Rodman lost a step because of course they did. They didn't have Jordan to push them. They pushed each other. Without the pressure there are no diamonds. So Pip and Rodman let themselves ease up since they didn't have Jordan cracking the whip.
