Brings back great memories of watching this finals live. Down 17 by the 3rd qtr, I remember I always had the believe that the Bulls still can come back which they did like many other times during their reign. Truly the greatest team with the greatest player in the greatest era of basketball!
AGREED. Back in 92 I wouldn't miss an nba game, especially tha-BULLS. TNT,TBS and WGN ( Chicago station, showed all the Bulls games ) showed so many nba games. Those were the good ole days of the league for me.
@@user-be7tc2bd6e yeah same, back in the 90s whenever got MJ's Bulls game on those channels, I'd watch them if didn't clash with my uni class schedules, sometimes with friends who are also MJ & Bulls fans, just great fun!
Jordan was unmarkable in the 4th. Man knows how to optimise his height when necessary, but more lethal when he goes under the radar and becomes almost horizontal to the court only to spring up like a coil and uses both his left and right hands to devastating effect like that shot. Man!
Funny, they didn’t show the first 11 possessions by the blazers in the 4th quarter. 11 straight calls by the officials, all of them highly questionable. The commentators mentioned it more than once. These bad calls allowed the Bulls to tie the game after being down by 15. Jordan was not in the game during this stretch. This game was fixed, there is no doubt about it!
@@luigis.5671yeah, the Blazers got a real tough whistle in the 4th. There were some brutal calls, but they were also insanely sloppy with the ball. Too many turnovers. They win the game if they take care of the ball better.

If you've watched one of the old MJ documentaries. MJ acknowledged he was playing badly, and Phil pulled him out. MJ said he became motivated by the play of his teammates..
The 2nd of the Bulls SIX hollow titles!! After Stern prohibited the Pistons from bouncing Jordan OUT of the postseason, there was no longer ANYbody LEFT to "humble"Jordan!!
Can't blame nobody but themselves they blew an 18 point lead, I mean really how do you do that in a must win game That comes down to coaching because Portland was more talented than Chicago top to bottom, n wat happened to Kevin Duckworth didn't hear his name none tonight just playing but you know what I'm saying smh same thing with Phoenix the next year way more talented but Barkley them choked
While MJ got pulled because he wasn't playing well, which is talked about in his own documentary, the second unit plus Scottie erased a 14-point 4th quarter deficit. To bring the bulls their 2nd title..
@@howsittastes He started the 4th on the bench for the first 3 minutes. And great for Scotty and the bench guys that they went on a 14-2 run bringing The Bulls back within 3pts when MJ checking back in with almost 9 minutes left in the 4th. He then went on to score 12pts on 5-7 shooting and 2-2FG. Also scored the last 8pts for Chicago. MJ had a FANTASTIC game.
Fully 8 guys in the paint at the bottom of every shot clock 😂 Nobody front courting the ball and immediately jacking up a three unless they're desperately behind or it's the end of a quarter. This was a different game.
Rick Adelman Clyde Drexler Terry Porter Kevin Duckworth Jerome Kersey Buck Williams Phil Jackson Michael Jordan John Paxson Bill Cartwright Scottie Pippen Horace Grant
No, it is because MJ made six 3s in the first half of Game 1, which set the tone and was a finals record. The Bulls bench went big in the first minutes of the 4th quarter of Game 6 but the Blazers had more options during the series. MJ had to dominate the series with 35.8 pts while Drexler had 24.8 in order for Chicago to win. And he won Game 6 scoring 12 pts in the last 6 minutes, with only Pippen adding 5.
Pippen started the comeback with 4 bench players, and he also made that huge 3-pointer to tie the game. Jordan helped finish the game, no doubt, but Pippen was the catalyst that started the comeback.
RIP Kevin Duckworth, Cliff Robinson and Jerome Kersey it was a great competition Bulls fan here
NBA on NBC ,This Era of Basketball was great!!!!!!!
Absolutely!
I don’t watch NBA anymore…
Oh ,man, when the intro music kicked in after the opening monologs, it was a fist-pumping moment!
NBA on CBS was even better.
The Bulls were unbeatable. MJ MVP number2. Portland was tough you have to respect them!!!
NBC nba theme song is so iconic nostalgic 90s.
