I'm not a Ferrari or Leclerc fan (not a hater either) but the narrative around Leclerc and not converting his poles is utter hogwash, always has been. If anything, considering Leclerc was able to leapfrog Verstappen and Red Bull when they were dominating in record-breaking fashion, it's not a negative but an extreme positive that he was able to extract more out of a objectively worse car. The Ferrari knowingly had worse race pace than Red Bull so it really is a statistician storyline rather than an actual racing fan storyline. Sick of hearing it.

The Ferrari was the faster car in 22 up until half way through the season! Both in race and quali on average!
Ferrari and Leclerc made some huge errors!l though(both equally contributions)
      Max was faultless!
How can you not remember that if you’re into F1?
Also RB have set their car up for the races, Max always focuses on this!
So it doesn’t mean Leclerc is out performing his car if he gets pole, that’s a very naive way of looking at it! The Ferrari has clearly had serious 1 lap pace since 22 but chewed tyres.
Thankfully that has improved this year.

To compare his qualifying to a golfer going in with a lead is an atrocious analogy.
Charles has qualified well only to get beaten by a better car in race trim. He's made mistakes, sure, but let's not pretend he was expected to win the majority of those against peak Max in the Red Bull. Ocon has done alot more for Alpine in the past few years than any of Alonso, Ricciardo and Gasly combined. He at least deserved the benefit of the doubt without the SkyF1 pundits reaching for a story that doesn't really exist. Magnussen took his team mate out, I don't hear the same noise. No need to carry this useless story. If Alpine benches Ocon they continue to display the foolishness that saw them lose the superstar Aussie Oscar Piastri. Gasly has been consistently outperformed by Ocon even though the media tries to spin it. Same attitude towards Yuki. The moment Ricciardo gets one over Yuki we anticipate major hype around RIC and disrespect towards Yuki...pathetic if you ask me. Hard words but it is just my opinion.
