I agree with all of this with the exception of Hulkenberg. He has been having very solid performances at Haas and he definitely deserves a few more years in the sport. But overall yes, a lot of talent is being wasted waiting on the sidelines!

If Ocon drops out of F1, I quit watching what is no longer a sport of risk and bold choices but a show a la professional wrestling. I'm not interested in a comedy where results are almost pre-defined. There is a huge hypochrisy in that if it was supposed to be a team sport all the way, as many say nowadays, then why on eath do you need a drivers championship? Just do a constructors championship and that'll solve all problems, right? Drivers championship is completely worthless if you remove the capability of teammates battles and attacks, because it is defined by car performance 99% of the time. There is a lot more margin of performance between two cars that between the best and worst driver on the grid. Anyway, not that anybody would care, but I've been folliowing F1 since the early 90s and Ocon is probably the last of these guys I have some empathy for. I'm not fond of the rich daddy's boys fashion.
That's food for thought. We always see and judge a driver on championship points, not as a whole team. I get the driver championship, but maybe there is too much emphasis on that. 95% of F1 drivers actually deserve that seat because of their abilities, experience, and consistency, yet they get yeeted to the bin faster than mum throws slipper. Stroll is a classic example of the should first to be booted from an F1 seat, but alas that will never happen.
He is a good driver, but in this business you have to work as team player, something Ocon doesn't understand at all. His only option is Haas or do something else.

If Ocon drops out of F1, I quit watching what is no longer a sport of risk and bold choices but a show a la professional wrestling. I'm not interested in a comedy where results are almost pre-defined. There is a huge hypochrisy in that if it was supposed to be a team sport all the way, as many say nowadays, then why on eath do you need a drivers championship? Just do a constructors championship and that'll solve all problems, right? Drivers championship is completely worthless if you remove the capability of teammates battles and attacks, because it is defined by car performance 99% of the time. There is a lot more margin of performance between two cars that between the best and worst driver on the grid.
Anyway, not that anybody would care, but I've been folliowing F1 since the early 90s and Ocon is probably the last of these guys I have some empathy for. I'm not fond of the rich daddy's boys fashion.
