I’m usually not a big fan of accessories that make a compact camera, no longer a compact camera. But I get it, some people need their gear to be as rugged as possible, regardless of size.. Great video, and thanks for sharing Danny,
Good to see someone plugging Scotty's stuff which I have used and loved for several years. Indeed a phone can be clamped at the bottom of an extension pole with the P3 on top but that is still not as good as the DJI rod for the P2 with its full set of physical buttons - especially the one which toggles between tilt lock and follow modes. I still hope that they will release one for the P3 - I'd buy it right away.
Nice review and products. Has anyone come up with a Power Supply that can also hold the Pocket 3 and power it while using? The Pocket 2 has this, and it's very handy for extending powerl
They state themselves that their cases should not be exposed to 50 degree C plus temperatures (if I remember the figure correctly). I have a slew of their cases, I think back to the Pocket 1, and I have never had any problem with them.
@@shazam6274 Here in Australia it is currently about 10C! No, I have never had an issue with the cases developing any kind of fault. As I recall it, the only time I have ever had a problem with a Scotty product was when they included a wrong-size tiny wrench with a product but the correct one arrived next day after I sent them an email.
Hey HeyThere, we have slim versions if that's more your style. This is designed more for content creators who need this level of functionality and protection in their gear.
The only problem with Scotty makes stuff, stuff is it is extremely well built, and that makes it extremely heavy. You will quadruple the weight of your pocket 3 instantly by putting this on and then you’re back to holding a heavier camera

Yes, we did start out originally from home but we've been in our factory for over 5 years now, and we have in excess of 80 machines, including various state-of-the-art 3D Printers and much more 🙂
While I appreciate that you provided information on these products, if I were to put all this stuff on what is supposed to be a pocket camera, I'd need a gadget bag for the camera.
It can be used as 'pocket camera' though I wouldn't dream of actually putting it in a pocket unprotected - or it can be kitted out for appropriate situations with all sorts of add-ons, but it still makes a normal DSLR plus gimbal support look massive.

That is an awesome review, Danny! 🥰Thanks so much for sharing our gear with everyone! ❤If anyone has any questions, I'm happy to answer them. 🙂

What's the Clamp you use on the selfie stick?

You didn’t tell us the brand of the extension pole with the mag mount for phone?
I have the bigger pro cast from Scottymakes stuff worth every cent. great video as always
Great Video Danny, that's some cool stuff right there

You forgot to mention Scotty Makes Stuff are 3D printed of unspecified materials and if left in car when hot, will likely deform.

@@Ozpeter Come to Phoenix, where it regularly reaches well over 50c in a car. Any of your "rugged" cases ever crack or separate along the layer lines?

@@Ozpeter Thanks, good info. The print layers are very thin and fine and if the plastic is the right stuff, I guess its OK
@@shazam6274 why would I wanna over heat my camera to begin with? Lol
For some reason, I didn't know that the DJI Mic 2 fits in a cold shoe mount.
Great video but just a correction @3:46 you said you just wrap it around your Go 3 instead of Pocket 3 :)
Scotty be making some nice stuff..
yup takes it from a pocket 3 to a backpack 3.... completely pointless when its that huge of gear on it.

The 'not so' osmo pocket 3 😊
Not a fan of homemade 3D printed products for sale.
"Homemade"? They are a substantial business, if you are referring to ScottyMakesStuff.

A little late to the game? I've known about Scotty since Pocket 2.
