To clarify, this is a God of War Ragnarok video which takes Valhalla into account, not explicitly just a video on Valhalla.
For anyone confused, ordinarily I won't review a game including its DLC unless it gets a full on rerelease with said DLC; like how Final Fantasy VII Remake got a full rerelease as Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade, new box release, new logo, everything. However, the people voted and requested that I give God of War Ragnarok Valhalla the same treatment as Intergrade.

And I plan to keep working hard at it. If you think it's worth it, I'd really appreciate it if you'd share this video with people you think would like it. Good word of mouth is my best friend when I'm trying to grow an audience.

Dang and not even on an entertainment-centric video, that's hype! If you like my reviews that much, please share them around to people you think would like them too. I'm getting back into Final Fantasy next with the release of FF7 Rebirth.

4:21 playing on a old playstation 4 gow ragnarok performance is rock steady throughout the entire story and side content with each of my playthroughs lasting ~70 hours each. I can count three times my game has ever studdered/loaded for milliseconds only ever during treasure hunting running throughout vanaheim

It's worth noting that something I always try to do, provided it's not obnoxiously inconvenient, is play the game as close to its launch version as possible. That way I can make a more accurate judgement on the quality of the product they tried to sell you. I'm sure the PS4 port runs perfectly despite being on less powerful hardware thanks to patches that clean it up, and the same goes for PS5 once you update to the latest version.
For my purposes, only having one or two instances of stability issues or glitches is very good, because I'm not giving devs the benefit of being able to fix a broken product after they sell it to me. Even with those bugs, it means that they still sold a very polished and functional gaming with only a couple flaws.

@@lonewolfex have to applaud Santa Monica for their work and aswell props to you for a exceptional Video, I appreciate the response and attention to accuracy within the window of release, I’ve definitely played regnarok post launch patches started playing on new years 2023. So even with those few hiccups in my experience with other modern single player games god of war ragnarok was a banger

@@jaxsgamesiguess9731 As weird of a sentence as it is, I appreciate the appreciation. I've gotten into arguments before with disgruntled viewers who hate that I try to play games as close to the 1.0 release as I can. Most people don't care about having a Day/Week 1 patch, but I'm critical of a game that wasn't finished on the disc. If you paid full price, you deserve the full game, not a pretty box with an IOU inside. Having someone respect that is refreshing, thank you.

@@lonewolfex lmao mad respect to you, keep making great videos and I agree on the use of iou’s in games now, flash backs to destiny and many more AAA’s. Have to rely more on indie titles for quality games on launch now lol, glad Santa Monica still going strong. Can’t wait for more vids

I’m confused. I thought this was about Valhalla?

I'm not sure if this is a joke considering I have a pinned comment explaining this exact thing, but just in case, I figured I should explain. This is a video about God of War Ragnarök taking Valhalla into account, not a video just about Valhalla.
Typically, I won't include a game's DLC in my reviews, but my community voted and asked me to give God of War Ragnarök Valhalla the same treatment as Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade. So the review takes into account the narrative of Valhalla as well as any interesting design elements I wanted to highlight.
