I had a 2014 675 street R and upgraded to a 765 street triple RS in 2017, nothing wrong with the RS but really wish I stuck with my 675 R, found it a much smoother bike. Got my eye on a street RX now.

@@tiiagocorreiia there was an RX model in 2015/2016. Didn't get it, got a Yamaha MT10 instead.

That why the 675 is more fun to me. Its like the maschine wanne rev. A bit twitchy, but with more soul.

Does the 675 rev more ? I have 1 and I love it , it just loves being reved, but is the 765 not as rev happy ?

@@user-sw4go6vc5s On idle and low down the sound of the 765 is deeper and cooler, but the 675 has something nasty when twisting the throttle.
The 765 is better and more defined. But for me the upgrade is not nessesary in terms of fun

Gotta disagree on this one, the 675 offers an incredible value and the 765 is NOT a big enough upgrade to justify the increase in cost. There's a price differential of about $6000 here in the US from a nice used Street Triple R 675 or a new 765 RS.

The new version looks much better than the old, but still polarising..but honestly no naked out there looks amazing in my opinion, a bit of a compromise to them all

Are you guys uploading to iTunes? Been waiting for new podcasts to drop.
My vote is Duke 890R if I had to choose between the 765RS and the 890R.

I am fully guilty of never getting excited about naked bikes they just do nothing for me. I am old so was raised with NOTHING but naked bikes while lusting after fully faired GP bikes or ever cafe faired bikes. So when sportbikes became a think I was in heaven....nowadays various manufacturers like KTM and Triumph are loathe to build faired sportbikes and I feel put upon...I hate it. When I see the 765 I am all "meh" you know? DO they make a fairing kit for it is the first thing I want to know! WILL Yamaha build an R9? Will they at least do up a cafe fersion of the xsr900? AN SP spec bike I hope? SCREW all these naked bikes! They suck
