Final Fantasy 12 White Mousse Hunt (How to Find and Defeat)
The White Mousse hunt is a challenge. Despite only being level 15, this annoying flan can spwew out all manor of disgusting stuff. Also, people have struggled to find it so I show you how to do that too. Enjoy.

Final Fantasy 12 was first released way back in 2006 on the PS2. At the time, it was considered somewhat controversial by many Final Fantasy fans due to its departure from traditional FF gameplay. However, it is now looked back on fondly and many would consider Final Fantasy XII to be the best entry in the franchise. In 2007 the International Zodiac edition was released (in Japan only), and this version of the game included a more traditional job-based system and a new battle areana. For this remastered release, these additional changes are being brought to us fans in the West for the first time ever - along with high resolution textures and remastered soundtrack!

My method is to come in as soon as I get fira. Bring Larsa for the bonus damage. Drop a reflectga mote, self cast fira gambit with anyone who can, and laugh as it melts instantly

I just had balthier tank it with decoy while ashe as my red/black mage using flame rod to spam fira on it and penelo is my gun/white mage so they stayed out of range of the aoe attacks and it went down pretty easy like 5000 damage per cast. main gauche +shield is over 60% evasion which is incredible

The water elemental spawned right in the middle of the area is brutal I'm level 30 and its still registers as level-???- LoL
... and today too, I got squashed last night (annoying marlboros and elemental are intervening) so I'm checking what i can do.
can't believe you're not taking advantage of the fact that Larsa can cast Bubble even if you don't have it yourself. Double health could've really helped you out here, it's the main reason I've been able to take out a number of marks. I stopped doing story short of Mt. Bur just so I could keep Larsa in my party for Bubble while I did all the hunts I possible could.

Ashe is the one with Berserk in my game and I messed up, letting her cast it on herself. Her bow shoots fire arrows (as You mentioned weakness to fire) so she basicly took the White Mouse apart with her bow. Now off to check how the new bow works. It's probably too dangerous in the hands of Ashe, so I let Fran use it, hahaha

On PS2 version this Malboro's one attack lose my 1/3 hp, another attack gives Blind, Sleep, and Slow all at once. I was just Fleeing before Game Over. My level 26-27 this time. I will return when i lvl 50.

Vaan lv:27, gear: soldier's cap and survival vest, weapon: sword of kings, accessory: gauntlets.
Ashe lv:26, gear: Calot hat and shepherd's bolero, weapon wizard's staff, accessory tourmaline ring.
Penelo lv:26, gear: Topkapi hat and ringmail, serpent rod, accessory: rose corsage.

Vaan: knight and shikari
Balthier: Foebreaker and archer: lv 20
Fran: uhlan/redbattlemage: lv 21
Basch: timebattlemage/bushi: lv 22
Ashe: monk/black mage
Penelo: white mage/ machinist
spells I have: cure, cura, raise, blindna, vox, poisona, dispel, protect, shell, fire, thunder, blizzard, aero, aqua, blind, silence, sleep, poison, slow, stop, immobilize, disable, vanish, reflect, balance, gravity, oil, decoy, drain, and dark
I just left the tomb of raithwall. The main problem is the water elemental that always spawns next to it.
I beat it with Argo. Then at the end during its critical I used a reflectega mote and kept up Argo. It was a but tricky. Dealt plenty of damage.
Get the Viking coat makes you immune to water easy fight with this item
Can only get it after Larsa leaves the party i think
Just use sleep and Fira it makes it hella more easy
Mate you are a life saver diden't have a time battle mage so couldn't use berserk and did this after Larse left so I was pretty screwed lol. Thanks heaps. Had no idea sleep would even work lol.

I know this is old, but the thing that keeps messing me up is the friggin water elemental that just decides to join the party n kill off my characters DX
How did you get you hp so high. My party is around the same levels but hp is around 1000?

The game developers should be sent to the gulag for this hunt. I just let it sit untouched till the end of the game thinking I'd obtain a gate sluice key from some random character at some point, since everything on the map looks like it's blocked off and there's a mechanism that requires a key in that area, making you think that's the only way forward. I spent hours trying to find a path to no avail. Screw this

I was taking this game seriously but the Overkings feel like they're just taking the piss out of memes.

I feel "it's Square Enix." Is the best answer possible. They're so unpredictable with their games. It's uncanny how ridiculous and cheesy Final Fantasy can be whilst still being great games.

You could of just used combo mist and beat him very easily.
