I just discovered this workout of yours today and loved it. It might become my early morning wake up work out when I’m still stiff and my body hasn’t warmed up for the day. Now that I’m older ( 60) and stiffer, I can’t jump straight into some routines , even though I’ve exercised all my life, and I don’t have a lot of time before going to work to wait for my body to warmup. I think this will work and then I can do the shorter weights routines at night. Thank you.

One of the very few channels about working out I follow regularly, especially since I have scoliosis and the doctor said I cannot do much about it. This doctor retired and my pain has reduced thanks to you Jessica. My physiotherapist encourages pilates and strengthening the muscles around the spine.
@@JessicaValantPilates A doctor whose respect to physical therapists is non existent is a jerk! They should complement one another, but no. He is too arrogant to help me and told me I will hurt for life. I aim to prove that alternative therapy is as crucial as doctors.
I love you! I have osteoarthritis in both knees and I can't do intense workouts. This helps me sweat a bit and makes me feel like I'm doing a bit of cardio. It's safe to say you're helping me keep my sanity during this lockdown as well.
This is awesome! A much needed challenge for my body. So glad I did this today. Just a little issue with the rollovers. I seem to be pulling something in my arms each time I try to rollover. Any thoughts?
I’ve done this two days in a row as I was concerned about my loss of ability to stretch. It has really worked my abs - I can really feel it. Like others, I like the way you talk through as trying to watch and do the moves is difficult. This was great and I’m hoping to progress further with you.

you are really great! I have a question tho, what should I do for my back ache when I try to keep my legs down and come up towards my head and then roll them down ?
Ty for this one. It was hard for me! I cannot do the roll up. I have fractured my Lower back years ago and have osteoporosis so I’m afraid to do some of this. I just kept flexing my feet, .
After 11 weeks of lockdown, I've been working up to five half hour beginner to intermediate Pilates sessions a week. I've been trying a lot of different tutorials, and have done a few of yours, but this was too much for me and I had to abandon it during the roll-overs, which I just couldn't do. Nor the squats that followed. I had to keep stopping in those first 10 minutes, too, just to catch my breath, and am still not able to get my legs straight up, anyway, while on my back later on, so my bowl got spilt! I'm obviously not ready for this one yet!
No, I've given up on this one and moved on to other tutorial RUclips sessions. There's a thin line between "Challenging" and "Downright Discouraging" and when I'm finding myself trying to do things I know I should be able to but clearly haven't a hope, I look at the last four months as a complete waste of time. I tried an entirely different one this morning, for instance, which I'd done okay with at the start -- felt it stretched me and made me work -- but it was just as if I was right back at the beginning, and towards the end I gave up. Maybe my body just is just headed in the wrong direction and there's no halting it!
Is the jumpstart the one with the FB group. Love the idea of having some Pilates community online during this time... missing my studio! This has been my favorite video so far since the start of SD!

I did the first seven minutes, paused it and did the rest the next day
Hope that you made it, in the end! Jessica's exercise routines can look deceivingly simple 😊

Brutal!!!! LOL I find it difficult to do the moves where your feet are flat on the floor and you are bent over or squat down.
