Loved it! Reminds me when I was a kid my dad would take me dove hunting with him. He would tell me to be quite and I was. He would tell me to watch were they fell and I did. He would call out that I was retrieving and I never missed a one. Wasn't until I was older that I realized I was the bird dog my dad couldn't afford. LOL It was the best of times!
Dove shoots are so fun. Grew up doing them in Virginia and got a lot of dove shooting time in when I was stationed in Albuquerque, New Mexico in the 90s. I think I saw a total of 2 dove on our 20 acres on Saturday when I was mowing. You pack a lot of things in your day (build, work, play)....good for you!! My friend sent me new pictures of bucks on our hunting lease, so I'm starting to get the itch to load up the equipment and start working the food plots.
All the work you put in preparing was worth it! What an awesome time that was, thank you for sharing it. Nice double, and the tree pruning was hilarious.
@@TKOutdoors And I hate that too! If the invite is open would definitely love to do it next time! One of my favorite things to do, aside from fishing. I'm sure everyone appreciated all your hard work. Good of you to do Andrew!
That was great 👍🏻. Love dove huntin, been goin out as much as possible this year with my 1yr. Old Golden Retriever. Makes me so proud when she does what she was named/bred for. She still needs some fine tuning but is coming along better than I expected. Thank you for the video🙌🏻🙌🏻
I love dove hunting Up here at north carolina too many hunters on public land dove fields. Love to have a place like this to enjoy the shooting. You guys sure have fun love to watched it
Man that was awesome watching you hunt for those doves. I could definitely tell you had a blast out there with your friends and family. I know it is awesome to hunt in your own backyard and don't have to drive nowhere. I'm glad you & your wife had fun out there with your friends and family man. It was awesome seeing Tiffany out there with you.
Those are resident doves that are small because they don't fly around much. Later in the season we get migratory birds, and they are much bigger because they have flown so far.
Welcome! Tiffany shoots a 20 gauge mossberg 500 and I mainly shoot a franchi affinity 3 12 gauge. Both shoot 7 1/2 shot for doves. We have other guns we sometimes switch to.
Good time, good friends, good food, good shooting (maybe) doesn't get much better than that. I love this time of the year cool weather and start of hunting season. Now you need to get a good retriever to fetch your downed birds. 👍
That was pretty intense. I kind of figured once you shot one they would all fly away for a while and you’d have to just do a lot of sitting and waiting till they came back come up but that was pretty exciting, they just kept coming.
I bet out of the last three years of eating dove, I've only had a piece of shot in one of them. It isn't hard enough to break teeth, unlike steel shot used for ducks.
Hi Andrew and Tiffany, this is an outstanding event video. The cooked dove looked delicious and would be perfect for your cooking channel.👍👍 Wild game recipes that are delicious tasting are hard to get. I suggest wild turkey, deer, dove, fresh and saltwater fish. Most of us need to know good brines, marinades, fish batter and sauces. I can see a cook book in your future. 🙂 God bless
Been in Florida better part of a decade now and didn't even know dove hunting was really a thing. This video makes me want to go start planning for my own hunt next year! What fun!
Every Farmer knew use to plant Dove plots when I was a kid, or we would hunt over a freshly cut field. Hardly anyone does it anymore, I guess because it's so much work.
I love to deer hunt, however if you want some non-stop excitement, 1. Dove, 2. squirrel - At least here in FL. Quail was awesome when I was a kid but the fire ants have destroyed, the population, unless you are on a private ranch.
My hubby likes dove hunting. I like shooting but I don't like eating doves because they taste like liver 🤮 lol I like most other wild game. You need a retriever. Our lab used to fetch everything we shot, even out in the ice cold lake, when we lived further north.
I definitely need a dog! As for the dove, skin them and soak them in Italian dressing for a while. Wrap in bacon, Grill and do not over cook. As soon as the bacon starts to crisp up, the dove on the inside is ready. Soaking and not overcooking is the key to making them taste good.
I love dove hunting. I could watch this all day.
It's so much fun and intense.

Haha that's funny! We've all been there as kids

🤣
Still love the hunting outfits. Brings a smile to my face every time I see them. Nice tree pruning BTW.
This year I didn't even try, flip flops, shorts and a Kelley's country life t-shirt. 🤣
I only counted two 'Holy Craps' lol. Enjoyed the video and look forward to the next one!
I did much better this year LOL 🤣
You missed a good shoot 😉

Looks like Y’all had a pretty good shoot, Your field was the best prepared dove field I’ve ever seen.
Thank you very much, I put a lot of work into it.
That was intense lol nice set up an system keep them coming
Thank you for watching
Hi, Andrew and Tiffany! What fun. Last night’s livestream was fun too.
Thank you for watching and supporting us
Thought I was in my doom vid days!! excellent!!

Looked like a lot of fun guys
Was a blast!
Never been on a dove hunt, it looks like a lot of fun!! Thanks for bringing us along.
It's a blast!
That’s fun stuff there buddy. Love it. But jealous lol. We don’t have em in my part of Louisiana like we use too 😞
They've been showing up here over the last two years

That's what it's all about with this property, so many ways to enjoy it. Thanks for watching
Ya'll lookin like you had a blast though. 😂😜
A great time!
Only two "Oh Craps". LOL
Lol yep, did much better this year
Let me know when the next shoot is and the fee! Looked like an awesome shoot!
We had a blast! Next shoot is overbooked currently, I'm a bit worried with how many people are going to be in the field 😳
they are way smaller than I was thinking they would be. like chicken wings.
Those are resident doves that are small because they don't fly around much. Later in the season we get migratory birds, and they are much bigger because they have flown so far.
Those flies/skeeters/bugs looked big enough to shoot! Great video!
Lol they were 😳
I usually average 2 boxes shells per 12 birds.
I know the feeling
Been watching the other channel awhile just learned of this one what shot and gage you shoot

You are right! A lab is in my future
Not your typical way of getting greens 7:42 but hey, maybe you'll start a new trend.
That's a more enjoyable way to prune than using a chainsaw LOL
Making memories with the Good Times on the farm. I really enjoyed the video. P.S. Mrs Tiffany would break bad with an automatic.
I know, she keeps asking for one. I'm afraid I couldn't afford the shells 😳
Awesome
Are you still using lead or Steel lead is no good poison
That was pretty intense. I kind of figured once you shot one they would all fly away for a while and you’d have to just do a lot of sitting and waiting till they came back come up but that was pretty exciting, they just kept coming.
Yep it's nice when they come in small groups instead of big wads
Stupid question, how do you keep from breaking a tooth on the shot.
I bet out of the last three years of eating dove, I've only had a piece of shot in one of them. It isn't hard enough to break teeth, unlike steel shot used for ducks.
Love it
I have some clip too

When are ya'll gonna get a retriever dog?
I hope in the next few months, once the house settles down and I know I can spend the time needed with it while it's young and trainable.

I went to a plantation last year for a quail hunt and it was awesome. Going back again first of next year.

nice
That’s awesome, I need a wife who I can go hunting with, and preferably one who will clean and dress what I shoot so I don’t have to. 😂😂
Lol, now your asking a bit much!
Only 2 oh craps! Im sad!!
Lol, I did good!
Are they tasty you need a retriever lol
Very tasty! I do need a good dog
When American women can handle a pump shotgun……China, don’t even think about it 😎
🤣
60 mph winged race birds.
Up here in Georgia we don’t hunt doves we shoot them, and it’s ok to put an s on dove.
Hi,
Take a look at the Channels section of this channel, why would you want to "advertise" Channels other than your own?
Cheers
I just changed it again, for some reason it isn't saving on this channel. I deleted the subscriber section
Nice hunt sir, loved the tree for dinner line nice shooting.
It was tough, but tasted OK after enough garlic and other seasonings.
BTW re the channel section..... it is not correct on this channel. Take a look 👀
