Nice review. I just picked this model up at a great price and really liking it so far. I have only used as a handheld, but intend to get it sighted it next week. It is amazing what you can see at night with this thing.
Great video. You explained everything beautifully. Saw that you quit your job to do this full time. I am wishing you and the misses the best. You guys will continue to be successful. Thanks for the videos. Ed.
I have no clue other than firing weapons how to operate such equipment..that being said I feel confident that ur tutorial will get me in a position to handle such equipment safely and effectively..
Outstanding lesson on this device. Looks like this is what I'm obtaining. You should be hired as a spokesman for this product. Great & easy break down.
**QUESTION** Just got my AGM Rattler 35-384 and setting things up. Love it so far!! One issue we're encountering and looking for help on: Both myself (lefthanded) and my son (righthanded) are having to tilt our heads significantly to see through the scope when mounted on an AR15, to the point it feels uncomfortable. I see in your opening that you have mounted it on an AR15 platform. Am I missing something or is that the nature of the beast?
Can’t you use rechargeable CR123s? Also, you shouldn’t need a gun vice to sight in. Use the Freeze feature to lock your reticle on the bullseye, then move to shot location with x/y adjustment. Great review!
Great review! Thanks, good job!! I just subscribed based on your review and I am also in Florida and just bought a TS-35. Thanks again! Also, where did you get that rear bumper for your Polaris?
I use mine as a scanner most these have a standby mode as well once you turn it on just quick tap the power button and it goes in standby mode so you dont have to keep powering it on and off
Maybe a video on how to tighten the rattle quick attach mount. I been figuring all this stuff out the hard way, no video on RUclips about it that I've seen. You release the quick attach push in on the spring exposing the nut and you can tighten it so the scope isn't loose on the rail.
I have a question to see if anybody knows the answer? After I zero in the scope, when I try to readjust, it goes back to the original spot which won’t allow me to recalibrate the scope after the first time .. do you think it needs an update or what could I be doing wrong?
I was getting ridiculously low battery life out of CR123 batteries on my TS35 640. The Energizer batteries seemed to last the longest, but still not very good. I was definitely starting to regret my purchase. I bought a 2 pack of Aonimi type C mini portable chargers from Amazon to try out. I attached them to the type C port and each one ran significantly longer than any CR123 I have used. It is small enough to stay out of your way. Maybe a tiny bit flimsy, but acceptable. I mostly use my rattler as a handheld. I dont know if the charger would hold up as well if mounted to a rifle, but i will test it out soon.
I got an external battery from outdoor legacy. It is a rectangle. I got a cheap case for flip cell.phone of its size. I zip tied to my gun. I got a magnetic C charging cord and I have operated flawless for 2 yrs. I leave on all.night and record every set I can honestly hunt for 3 nights before charging external So 18-22 hrs continuous The magnetic C cord is to ensure scope does not get damaged if cord gets caught on fence ect
I like all your videos. One question, i.e., have you figured out how to quickly compensate the trajectory drop beyond 50 yard? I know the RETICLE function can work for that purpose. However, it is so difficult to select the saved RETICLE at difference distance. There is no back button. I have to cycle through all saved RETICLE to go to one that I need to use. By that time, animal has already moved. What do you suggest? Any shortkey? By the way, my 308 subsonic drop 1 foot from 50 to 100 yard.
I haven't had to worry about that due to this being on a 22. If I were you I'd use the reticle with hashes and practice shooting at distance to find what hash mark at what distance.
I am hitting a limit with my Y axis on mine. It won't let me go lower than -22.00. The shot is showing up "too low". Have you ever run into this issue? Great video by the way.
@@TKOutdoors No, but I did figure out my issue. I was zeroing zoomed in at 8X zoom. I guess the firmware limits the Y movement when you are zoomed. I tried again at 1X zoom and it let me adjust deeper to get a true zero. Probably a bug on their end. This is with a Rattler v2
Are these reticles ffp or sfp ? If its sfp do you have to shoot it at the magnification you sighted in with, in order to be in target like a standard scope ? Thanks
I must be very unlucky because their customer service sucks you can’t talk to a person. I finally got mine to update and now none of my batteries that previously worked all now they are dead according to the rattler.
You're being ripped off. AGM scopes are re-branded HIK scopes made in China and the equivalent HIK scope sells for much less in the UK than the AGM version does in the USA For example your rattler TS50-640 retails at $4175. The same scope in the UK sells for $2750
Welcome to the world we live in. Am I supposed to fly to the UK to buy one? I've never seen your version here and overseas shipping is almost impossible.
Awesome Awesome. We need more of that kind of video
And fishing!!!!
@@TKOutdoors and a video of you harvesting a deer and you dove hunting and you taking Tiffany and Ruger out and relaxing.

Yes, it's a huge leap above standard ir night vision.

Hi, Andrew! This was fun! Your enthusiasm is contagious. Thanks for this video.
Thank you for watching
Nice to see some new content on the outdoor channel!
Hope you enjoy!
Nice update and helpful information on sighting it, Andrew. Good looking new setup!
I love my critter getter!

What a great presentation bravo thanks man
Glad you enjoyed it
Harvested any rabbits from the property yet? Used to get them all the time in the woods years ago. They're delicious.
Not this year, but they are everywhere. It's time I get a few.
QD mounts are awesome!
Especially quality ones that hold zero.
Hi Andrew enjoyed your review. Take care. 👍👍❤️❤️🇨🇦

It's the nature with these scopes. Your looking at a small screen and trying to center it to your eye vs the normal lense of a scope.
Can’t you use rechargeable CR123s? Also, you shouldn’t need a gun vice to sight in. Use the Freeze feature to lock your reticle on the bullseye, then move to shot location with x/y adjustment.
Great review!
I've found rechargeable batteries to be disappointing. You can run a battery pack on this, I'm trying one now.
Rechargeable work fine. $40 for 8 with charger. Last for 2 hrs continuous in this scope. Do the math
I really like what I'll call the PIP feature. Oh to have had that available on a regular scope instead of crankin up the dial back in the day!
I like that feature as well.
Great review! Thanks, good job!! I just subscribed based on your review and I am also in Florida and just bought a TS-35. Thanks again! Also, where did you get that rear bumper for your Polaris?
Welcome to the channel. It was purchased from the Polaris dealer in Tifton Georgia many years ago.
Great review. Thanks for all the info.
Glad you enjoyed it
When you are sighting in your scope have u ever used the freeze reticle to move crosshairs then unfreeze and try.
The new SightMark thermal looks interesting. It’s 35mm 2X vs 25mm 1.5x. Both 384 and around the same price point. Which is better is my question.
Not sure, Ive yet to test that model.
I use mine as a scanner most these have a standby mode as well once you turn it on just quick tap the power button and it goes in standby mode so you dont have to keep powering it on and off
Enjoyed the end of the video! 😂
Be very glad you don't have a hog problem. They flat wear us out in South Texas.
We do in Florida, but thankfully they steer clear of our property.

That's how I tighten mine. I've had no issues with it coming loose.
This may sound dumb, but wouldn't you need to sight in again every time you detach the scope?
Nope, not with a perfectly machined mount. It's makes all the difference.
@@TKOutdoors it comes with this? I'm new to all this
After removing and then replacing it, how close is it to retaining zero for let's say 200 yards?
I have a question to see if anybody knows the answer?

@@TKOutdoors Now isn't, that the thing for cottontails!
That thermal is so awesome. Wish I had one
I love it!
Do you think the recoil of 308 would throw it off?
I don't believe so, these are made for rifles.

Not sure to be honest, I've shot it while zoomed and didn't notice a difference.
Andrew have you kept with the head count?
Roughly, I know I'm way low. 80+ since last year's spring time.

Is it the v2?
Not sure, it's almost 2 years old now.
What does this cost and do you have discounts for use
I have no discounts, I'm not sponsored. There is a link in my video description to Amazon for current pricing. It does change from time to time.
