I bought it for $240 AU which is far less than the $3,900 when it came out here. Running E5 1620 v4 16g ddr4 2666 and a nvme pci-e ssd and k2200. This was all in the cost. Recently bumped the ram up to 32 g for $80 which is not bad. Love the video brother.
That is a really nice deal!! the 1650V4 in my opinion is one the best CPUs for the Z440, very high frequencies and 4C/8T is more than enough for a lot of tasks. For the price, the memory cooler and the front fan is the workstation almost a gift. Thanks for watching!!
Watched your video thinkink these shits would definitely be the perfect upgrades for my Z440. Opened de case and realized all was already mounted in mine. Turning on CPU E5-1650 v4 @ 3.60GHz . Just miss an RTX 3070 (with proper connecters and 700W PSU to go on ^^.

Hola Francisco. El TPM que viene de serie es la placa del Z440 es 1.2 y primero debes actualizarlo a 2.0 con el softpaq SP87753 que puedes encontrar el la web de HP. Luego que actualices, debes también activarlo en la BIOS, en la pestaña de seguridad. Si estás pensando en TPM 2.0 para actualizar a Windows 11, te encontrarás el inconveniente de que el HP Z440 no puede montar ningún procesador del listado que pide Windows 11, aunque podrás instalarlo sin problema alguno, pero Microsoft te recordará que tú hardware no es compatible con los requerimientos de Windows 11. Espero te ayude. Yo también tengo un Z440 y estoy feliz con su excelente desempeño. Un saludo!
Yo tengo una igual y he tratado de instalar Windows en todas las versiones que tengo 7,8,10 y 11, con UEFI, SIN UEFI y nada de que jala, ya puse otro disco duro, trate con una USB con un DVD ROM y nada, pura pantalla azul, pero... CON CUALQUIER VERSION DE LYNUX SI FUNCIONA SI ARRANCA!!!, estoy que me revienta la cabeza. AYUDA POR FAVOR!!!
Unfortunately mine developed a POST failure of "Thermal Sensor not programmed" which causes the fans to run at 100% and makes the machine unbearable to sit next to.
Hello Inam, yes you can, but I wouldn't recommend it to you. Even if you have the 22 cores 44 threads, Intel Xeon 2699V4 you can manage to get it properly cooled with the upgraded vapor chamber cooler solution from Hp. And it will be even better in terms of noice.

I just bought one with 1650v4, 32gb of ram and 512SSD for $220. Just came in and to my surprise it also has the memory cooler and front fan installed!

Quick note, the 6 pin gpu connectors are actully 18A @ 12v meaning they can put out up to 215w EACH.
