Bought one recently after letting my very old Dell T5400 Dual Xeon go after many years. I have a E5 1620 v4 with 16g ddr4 2133 dimms and a 970 Samsung Pci-e ssd. Going to install another 32g ram and upgrade the cpu as well. Amazing how much these machines can be upgraded. Cool video.
I've just come across this video and I have acquired a Z440 with the 18c/36thread and 256GB Ram and 8TB Hdd. Looking for steps to complete. I've downloaded the linked EFI folders
I think this is a great hackintosh I use this computer as my main system and it's great! Only thing that sucks is the cooler isn't the best for the Cpu I wonder if there is a better cooler that would work perfectly in this.
2 things. 1) make sure the chipset drivers are fully installed. They do not automatically install from windows. 2) check the bios. It's possible that turbo boost was disabled in the bios.
Hello I have z440 and i installed hackintosh sonoma successfully, but i wanna ask if i buy bluetooth usb and a wifi usb would i enable airdrop ? Or it’s hard for z440 to have airdrop on hackintosh ??
Good afternoon can you please me i have been fighting to set up a Hackintosh sonoma on a Z440 core i7 everything installed no problem except for my video card i can't get to work i am tired of trying its a NVIDIA gtx 1070 . I have followed all the tutorial to enabled it i have no luck it still said 8 mb of RAM please can you help \\\ Thanks
Anything less than a 3070ti should be fine from Nvidia, and a 6800 from AMD. In my own system I have a 2060 and it matches up nicely, but there's definitely CPU headroom. Your biggest issue is going to be the PCIe 3.0 spec.
That google drive link is useless, it stripped out all the Kexts for example. Upload a ZIP of your EFI folder instead. Also DO NOT STRIP OUT SMBIOS/Model data other than you serial

try the coolermaster coolers, they work great.
Same is it easy to hackintosh this z440 ? I've done it before but idk if it changed since but what version of Mac os are u running?

nice build, but ditch the Sandisk drive. You can by HP Turbo Drive G2 for cheap on e-bay, which gives you loads more throughput than a 6GBps Sata ssd.
