Nice unboxing! I‘m planning on replacing my Bose Home Speaker 500 because of its subpar voice recognition and the missing support of Apple Music as well as it‘s super laggy software.
Are you able to play Apple Music playlists via voice commands? Or are you limited to stream music via Airplay?
I'm thinking about the 150 and Sonos One. I stream a lot from by laptop /tablet and phone so the Sonos One will not be a good option or im i missing something? How is the Bass on the 150 and what's your opinion about both these speakers?

If you love music and like warm and slightly unnatural colored sound, the Denon Home 150 can be recommended. If you plan to use this to listen to radio via a mobile device, you should steer clear. That fate shares it with many other bluethoot speakers. It certainly does not fit. The sound sounds stuffy, heavy and boxy, it is difficult to perceive ordinary speech. A trick can help something. Use a simple radio, and connect it via Jack-plug via the headset output and the radio sound will be quite good.
Can you play directly from your Spotify app and not just from their app?

So what I'm gathering from this review is this speaker doesn't connect to a Denon receiver, correct? All you need to run it is Internet connection, wireless network, a phone and the app, correct?
Most Denon receivers have Heos built in, so you can pair these with the receiver to play any source from the receiver.
Also (since I don't see a return to the subject), pairing of the Denon speakers IN STEREO can only occur if it is two of the same type speakers...ie a pair of 150s, 250s or 350s...but NOT a mix of these (makes sense, because other speakers would have different frequency responses).
So, in the "Rooms" tab, you would create a group containing ONLY two matching speakers...then tap the Pencil icon to enter Edit mode. Then tap on that particular group...where there is now a "Stereo Pair" switch to turn on. Tap the < (back) arrow to return to the "Rooms" list, and tap the "Check Mark" icon to exit edit mode. I think it now shows up in the room as "(room name) L + (room name) R". If you have pairs of the other Denons, you can do the same thing...two of the same type per room for Stereo (but no more than that). You would just turn off the STEREO button to return to other modes.

To be completely honest, I would probably go with the Bose if money isn’t a factor. The reason why I say that is because, even though the sound quality between both speakers are very similar, the Bose speaker is portable and water resistant. I just think a speaker this size should definitely be portable and I think Denon should have done that with this speaker. I hope this helps, and thanks for the comment 🙏🏾🖤🙏🏾
