Wow, Graham Nash has lost nothing of his incredible voice after 60 years in the music business. What a pro- he is still totally invested in it 100%.
Yah, no doubt. I caught CSN back in 2006. Such great performers.
Absolutely!
Indeed...truly amazing! For what ever reason(s) Graham's voice has held up WAY better than the other 3. I was fortunate enough to see CSN&Y in Tempe Az during their '74 reunion tour. They did the concert just like the album "4-Way Street"; playing as a band and then each soloing their own stuff. Ah...to be 19 again...
Both Nash and the guitar player killed it. Such a great song by Graham. This is an awesome live performance.
Graham's voice is still distinctive of his Hollies days, always had much respect for him as a 'man' and not just his music.
Look at all those folks walking by the side of the stage paying no mind, while a legend plays an epic song.
That is such a great song. When a couple of guys could harmonize and sound phenomenal.
Same goose bumps I got when I first heard this. This man has given me so much joy!
A favorite of mine from back in the early seventies
Good job! Salute! Grahm Nash!
Best years of my life David V the 1979 .1980 were the best music ever
Man do I love this friggin song!!!!
Bought this song before I went to bootcamp in the Navy, 1972.
I love this song. I first heard it when it came out.
So did I!
signed, Old Lady 🙂
@@PuffKitty I think I was 9 or 10 when this song came out. I still know the words this many years later. I'll be 60 in October. Rock on!
Fabulous!
Learned this song when i was 15 i was in mexico for my 30th bday the bar had a guitar and mic for anyone who wanted to play ,i hot up and did this and we got too many free drinks
Great performance!
Incredible as always
Catch his current tour. It's awesome!
This guy didn’t need those other guys, his voice is what gave those other guys an income and fame.
1971 18yrs old war still on applied CO DRAFT BOARD thank God a classificationZ I received. 60's 70'as turbulent yrs. Thanks G&D for the music and the activism you shared to us in the bay area!!!!!!!
Get down Graham Nash very impressed keep it going brother love and peace
Loved it when it first came out.
I remember this song from like 1972 or early 73 playing on the radio in the kitchen. Everybody had a radio in the kitchen back in the 60s and 70s. The baby boomer generation
Many of us sat there doing our homework listening to said kitchen radio 🙂
❤awesome
Such a great song 💗💙💜💚
My name is David V these were the best years of my life 1979 1980 great music
And to those who don t know, I think the guitarist is Shane Fontayne that was the guitar player for Lone Justice years ago.
Thank you.
Born Michael Barakan ‘😊
Great Graham. He played at the spring festival in 1980 - my first year at American University in Washington D.C. I was an anti-nuclear power activist and I'm pretty sure I was tripping that beautiful afternoon. Idyllic.
He sounds good here, nearly 40 years down the road, and that electric guitarist is fine fine fine.
What a moment that must have been. Thank you for sharing!
You're still trippin if you are anti nuclear power
From his first solo record a great record that has stood the test of time .And for that matter so has Graham
For clarification: This tune is from the Nash/Crosby album recorded in 1972. Their touring guitarist was Don Felder, who left the tour to join the Eagles. This era was overflowing with musical talent..... something we'll sadly never see again.
@@broeheemed32 whoa, as a giant crosby/nash fan, i really appreciate that info...
@@broeheemed32 in that I didn't know Felder toured. ❤😊
Wow!
Damn these cats are really laying it down
Wow, this great! Great to see Graham "driving the train" and taking charge. Wish he would do more of that, as there aren't too many solo Graham works.
Great to hear Graham Nash still Got It! But who is partner her on lead guitar?
Shane Fontayne
Crosby’s high harmony would have sounded excellent here….
Wow! still great!
Shine on Graham...would be nice to hear some 3 part harmony again......' just a song before 'we' go'...
Good god, that was great!
Migration is an event where beings cross boundaries that they aren't expected to stay in.
Birds migrate every year, workers migrate within seasonal expectations.
Immigration is a lawful process towards a recognizable new citizenry:
forsaking the older one to become a true member of the new.
Wow this cat phrases like Sinatra!
graham nash is a good singer & writer magnifecent
beautiful
Better than ever. :)
Excellent
No better socio-political commentary protest music than this.
And he has Shane Fontaine on guitar!
I LOVE his human, humane being that scares people who are too self centered to understand him. Anyway, July, 1974, Rich stadium, CSNY came out to this GREAT song and blew the place away in the evening sunset. Preceded by Santana Band. Peace !
Like dirty hippies, don't you
@@riverratbond007 Yeah, they beat slimeball fascists who murdered at the capitol
I saw CSN open for the Dead at Rich stadium . I’m proud to be a dirty hippie!
How many hippies does it take to screw in a light bulb? Hippies don’t screw in light bulbs, they screw in dirty sleeping bags! ..... get vaccinated folks!
I like this version. Very simple.
Excellent toenail therapy, thanks!
Superb
Un grande de la banda legendaria C S N & Young
Dam that was way better then I thought it was going to be 👍🏼
Do people below realize why this song was written ???? It has to do with GETTING INTO CANADA to avoid the DRAFT....has nothing politically to do with crisis at border 50 years after recording......
I'm so glad you realize there is a crisis at the border, something our current administration denies exists, as their political coup is design to destroy America
For the want of a nail the battle was lost.
Such a great song.. I have the 45 record
Add Crosby to this line-up and tour. 2021.
Crosby has left a trail of destruction everywhere that POS has gone. Nash has publicly stated David is dead to him
Ah...The J-50. My favorite acoustic to play
He rules.
This is a great song, who would stop this charming man at the border & think he wasn't on the up & up. While 6 people at least got through the line with fentanyl & Crack lining the insides of their luggage going right through!
Me encanta que te guste bery god
Akamai Man
I was living in Malibu with producer Jerry Goldstein.
Those were the days my friends!!
And not a trailer hitch was safe, I'm betting...
I was there. Great performance
where was this recorded? Almost looks like Stanley Park in the background
@@hmackenzie1215 Hardly Strictly Bluegrass, 2018, Golden Gate Park, San Francisco.
I don't agree with his polinase but I love his mayo
This song was about Graham Nash coming through the Canadian border not the Southwest order get it straight kids!
This is what the United States government has to listen to especially the republications
I think I might have misinterpreted your comment at first- I thought you were blaming the govt. and the Republicans. Nash wrote this song because he was pissed off that he was detained at the Canadian border trying to get back into the US. He had an H-1Visa, and not American. It was as simple as filling out some forms, and some inconvenience- then he was good to go. Still rich, still famous- but this song is now some sort of anthem.
Great song and so relevant in today's world.
Actually no... it has nothing to do with the southern border. Google it.
Location of performance?
⭐☮️🍺🍿
Who is the guitarist with the Strat?
Shane Fontayne
@@kerryfrymoyer4551 Thank you!
@@rickyhuff he is the guitar player that played lead with Heart's Ann and Nancy Wilson doing Stairway to Heaven tribute for Led Zeppellin at Washington Center Honors a few years back. Amazing performance
Guy on the keyboard is dragging it down
Not so. The mix is a little heavy on his vocal but he's great.
Typically the Drummer forgot to show up.
How aprpo 2dy
"Let me in".......LEGALLY!!
Follow the laws, no Anarchy allowed!
the only " legals" them are the native americans.....so.. all out of there.... HAHAHAHAHA
@@franciscocalvo9371
What about the people from Asia that came across the Bering Straight thousands of years ago BEFORE the "Native American Indians".....aren't they the "real" Native Americans?
How many generations have to live in a land before they're considered "native"?
I'm 3rd generation born in the USA from Europe, am I a "Native American" yet??
I know this dude wrote this on a plane.
Dedicated to John Lennon....
Was this not country bult on immigration?
I always thought this was a great song, an ode to the weary immigrant seeking refuge... then I read the real story of the entitled hungover rock star held up at the border having to fill out forms. Ever since then, the self-centered nature of Nash's songs have really been apparent. He is nothing but an egotistical, rich, entitled cry baby. Sadly. I used to love his music as the anthem of my generation until the reality came through. Oh well, there is still Neil and Croz.
Agreed, -Crosby. Stills is worth a couple dozen of the other two weasels.
Still waiting for egotistical, rich ,entitled cry baby Trump to concede the fact that he lost and let this great country move on to much more important matters.
If what you say is true, that's really just plain sad & wrong..., was a fan of CSN from the beginning..., saw them 2X during the 70's when they first reunited.

I can’t stand his politics but I like his music 🎶
@@williamtaylor5193 old, irrelevant, stinky hippies never change!😂
And the difference between a Far-Left Liberal and your statement is that you can separate the music from the politics and find something of value and enjoyment. Far-Left Liberals won't. They'll try and destroy and ruin you.
I love his politics and music. They belong together like Bull and horns!
Agreed on that for sure..
I know he was put through tons of shit from Crosby but these old guys holding grudges and not talking sounds like a bunch of old women. Give it up and treat your fans to concerts with all the members before it’s too late. Your not going to live forever.
I can’t stand his mislead politics but I like his songs. Trump/Pence 2020 👍👍👍👍🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Bro what
Anarchy?
Great thing! Anarquia!!!
Well said! President Donald J Trump 2020!
Not to be. Thank God.
Pro-illegal immigration? He probably is.
The tune is great , but the message stinks. A real big SLAP in the face to foreigners who apply for citizenship and wait in line.
