I remember in the Cosmopolitan reaction she did to Maddie, she said that if Maddie really felt like the environment was toxic, then “why didn’t she just leave?” But then she was the one who said she had to “fight the producers for Maddie to work with Sia” and she said about Christi and Chloe that she took jabs at them “since I can’t throw them out, they can’t leave.” Christi confirmed that Chloe couldn’t go to the Joffrey school because of the contract so clearly producers had control of the kids at latest from Season 2.
One thing that always annoyed me was with Fallon. Abby always berated kids who would run offstage when they forgot their dance and tell them to improvise next time, never run off the stage! When Fallon got hurt and forgot her dance, but managed to stay onstage and improvise, Abby tried to get her disqualified and shouted at her because she forgot the whole thing.
I honestly thought fallon had a good shot at being a official member, i liked both her improv-ed solo and her performance for red with envy i felt bad she was kicked tbh

There were multiple references to the large part Abby's father played in raising Abby, including bringing Abby to "Mother-Daughter" conferences at school. Imagine how a young daughter would feel about having her father present in discussions with a room full of mothers and daughters, talking about puberty changes and how they affect their teenage daughters . . .
My favorite was Abby constantly saying "save your tears for the pillow" when the girls had legitimate reasons to be upset (99% of the time caused by Abby) but then she would cry and it was alright.
Recently Abby talked about Chloe’s solo “Silence” in two different videos on her channel that were only a week or two apart. In the first video she says she decided to tape Chloe’s mouth for the beginning of the dance and that she didn’t remember if Christi loved or hated it. In the second video she tells the same story but decided to just say Christi hated the idea. She can’t even keep a story straight within the same month.

Literally, just within the show itself she contradicts herself every other episode. Forget your dance? Stay out there and do some turns!!! But no, she will get you disqualified if you forget your dance!!! Unless it’s Maddie. Costume malfunction?? Maddie’s apron slips and she gets praised. Anyone else and they get screamed at. She literally says that the kids should learn to speak up for themselves, but when they do she belittles them. There’s so many but these were just off the top of my head! Honestly the woman is foul. I think the biggest reason is because she got money from the Zieglers, Kendall, Kalani, etc because she was their manager. She was upset that the Lukasiaks were getting all that money and none of it was going to her. She only wanted the kids she was the manager of to get opportunities, because then she’d get 💵 and take credit for their success. The whole thing’s messed up.

Beyond calling Christi uneducated… I truly don’t understand her saying she hates how the Lukasiak’s are raised. Those girls are well-traveled smart kids. They love to read and Chloe loves to write and they clearly value & enjoy their education. Their parents raised them to appreciate the world and learn about the history of things. That’s an opportunity most kids don’t get. The Lukasiak girls are so lucky for their parents.
She sees people from humble beginnings as inferior to her. Notice how she refers to some of the moms as “dirt poor”? She clearly sees people of color or from a lower class as competition. Makes sense as to why pitted Maddie and Chloe against one another.
You would think she would re-evaluate her life choices while she was in prison. Perhaps, maybe being so close to death during her battle with cancer, would change her ways. Abby and her little puppet Gianna are sad excuses as human beings.

The Christi issue was interesting because Abby didn’t like that Christi and Chloe were trying to make money with masterclasses and meet and greets. Yet years later, Abby praised Jess for doing a similar thing with JoJo. Make it make sense. Should the kids not try and make as much money as possible or not? Or is Abby upset because she never got a dime from Christi and Chloe 👀👀.
This also contradicts the claim that Maddie is the sole reason the show was created to begin with because had Christi never sent in the audition of Chloe and Abby the producers would’ve started searching elsewhere. Possibly Abby and her students wouldn’t of been the main cast. Also the claim that they never audition I always knew that was false because Chloe always had her audition dances on her channel.
I think the Ziegler thing with Kurt is a little different. I mean Maddie and Kenzie have both come out saying they didn't have the best relationship with their dad. Maddie is clearly uncomfortable with Kurt being around. It is one time I'm glad Abby stepped in. On the flip side, Holly not being at practices or the very few competitions she missed in order to advance her degree and work while Nia was being well cared for by the other moms is very understandable
I agree, this was the only part of the video I didn’t agree with either. Obviously it’s wrong of Abby to criticize Nia for her dad not being there, that’s just ridiculous, but Maddie’s relationship with her dad was strained because of everything that happened and Abby knew that, and that might effect Maddie’s performance, so it was better for her to shoo Kurt away.

I’m so tired of y’all using what Maddie and Kenzie said about Kurt to justify that gross action from Abby. And of course Maddie would be uncomfortable because Melissa always acted uncomfortable around Kurt and kids are gonna pick up on how the people around them act, especially their main caretaker… and especially because Melissa also kept them away from Kurt and didn’t even tell him that she was going away on vacation and that their kids would be with someone else. He didn’t know anything and was a concerned father at the time. So the girls saying they didn’t have a great relationship with their dad YEARS later makes sense but does not excuse Abby and Melissa actively keeping them away from their dad all those years ago during their growing years. THAT’S why they didn’t have a great relationship, he was actively prevented from even forming a relationship with them. Y’all should be more introspective about this instead of just acting like Kurt is some evil father and Maddie and Kenzie are some huge victims and not just speaking on the fact that they don’t have a good relationship with their dad because they hardly ever saw their damn dad. Maddie and Kenzie have a skewed view of their dad because of how limited their time was with him. They were probably also told all sorts of things about him to make them feel some type of way. Narcissist mothers do that and Melissa is a huge narcissist who worked with another narcissist to keep Kurt from taking their kids outta dance and getting them away from Abby… and those two couldn’t let Kurt take their money-maker, “dress-up dolls” (Melissa’s words) away.

That’s weird and idc what y’all say. I believe one of the biggest reasons Maddie and Kenzie said that is because they were kept from their dad and hardly really saw him and the only times they did were when Melissa was acting weird and uncomfortable around him. He showed huge concern for his kids and he knows dance ruined his relationship with them because Melissa and Abby kept them from him.
As a child Abby was pushed to the side and put down by her own mom, I think she pushed all that resentment from her childhood to the beautiful talented dancers. The biggest one for me is in season one you can see Melissa making those rockstar fingers to Maddie multiple times after she finishes her solo but when Chloe does it at the end of her solo seasons later, Abby gets so mad and accuses her of being rude

She has said that her mum was always at the studio and it was her dad that did everything with her. In later years she was always so proud that her mum had a career. Very conflicting things seeing as she would be yelling at the mums for not being/doing everything for the girls and at the same time saying that her mum was so busy working that her dad took her to the sex ed talk at school.
I think Abby low key had, and maybe still has a thing for Holly’s husband Evan. She’s never rude to him when they’re in scenes together, and she always talked about how she "looks forward to her hugs with Evan".
Just also the dancing how like some dancers make a small minor mistake and she lashes out on them. Yet her favorites make more noticeable major mistakes and she forgives them or brushes it off.
The thing that sticks out for me is when she barged into the dressing room aggressively and screamed "Nice job Chloe" when she dropped her hat. It was such a horrible reaction and I've never forgotten it.

I think the biggest hypocrisy that I saw was that anytime the girls lost she would blame everybody but herself for the girls losing But when the girls won she was all like that thanks to my training my dedication and the way I teach my students how to be on stage I think the biggest example of this was in season three episode 13 where the guest choreographer Rachelle came in and taught the girls. However when the girls won 1st Pl., Abby was all about the fact that they won because of her even though she had no involvement with the choreography of the dance Gold Digger
Abby is a prime example of “do what I say not what I do.” The amount of trauma and abuse the girls received from her is inexcusable. And the fact that to this day she rewrites history instead of owning up to her words and actions is proof that she isn’t capable of changing.
Everything Abby has done with Dance Moms and after in the media is all because of Christi. Christi was the driving force behind organising the Mums to ordination and it's because of her footage the producers wanted Abby.

I was working with a PhD dietitian back in the 90s and once we went out to dinner with a couple people from the office. She sent her entrée back three times and I was mortified. There was nothing wrong with her food. I never had a meal with her again after that dinner. I also quit working with her shortly after that. I can’t stand waste like that.

There were multiple references to the large part Abby's father played in raising Abby, including bringing Abby to "Mother-Daughter" conferences at school. Imagine how a young daughter would feel about having her father present in discussions with a room full of mothers and daughters, talking about puberty changes and how they affect their teenage daughters . . .

Recently Abby talked about Chloe’s solo “Silence” in two different videos on her channel that were only a week or two apart. In the first video she says she decided to tape Chloe’s mouth for the beginning of the dance and that she didn’t remember if Christi loved or hated it. In the second video she tells the same story but decided to just say Christi hated the idea. She can’t even keep a story straight within the same month.

Literally, just within the show itself she contradicts herself every other episode. Forget your dance? Stay out there and do some turns!!! But no, she will get you disqualified if you forget your dance!!! Unless it’s Maddie. Costume malfunction?? Maddie’s apron slips and she gets praised. Anyone else and they get screamed at. She literally says that the kids should learn to speak up for themselves, but when they do she belittles them. There’s so many but these were just off the top of my head! Honestly the woman is foul. What I never understood is why she was so hard on the Christi and Chloe for the meet and greets yet she applauses Jojo, and she herself did more meet and greets for Maddie Kenzie Kendall and Kalani in s5 then they did actually auditioning.
I think the biggest reason is because she got money from the Zieglers, Kendall, Kalani, etc because she was their manager. She was upset that the Lukasiaks were getting all that money and none of it was going to her. That’s also why she fought for opportunities more for the Zieglers, Kendall, Kalani and hated when other girls got them instead. She only wanted the kids she was the manager of to get opportunities, because then she’d get 💵 and take credit for their success. The whole thing’s messed up.

Those girls are well-traveled smart kids. They love to read and Chloe loves to write and they clearly value & enjoy their education. Their parents raised them to appreciate the world and learn about the history of things. That’s an opportunity most kids don’t get. The Lukasiak girls are so lucky for their parents.

The Christi issue was interesting because Abby didn’t like that Christi and Chloe were trying to make money with masterclasses and meet and greets. Yet years later, Abby praised Jess for doing a similar thing with JoJo. Make it make sense. Should the kids not try and make as much money as possible or not? Or is Abby upset because she never got a dime from Christi and Chloe 👀👀.
This also contradicts the claim that Maddie is the sole reason the show was created to begin with because had Christi never sent in the audition of Chloe and Abby the producers would’ve started searching elsewhere. Possibly Abby and her students wouldn’t of been the main cast. Also the claim that they never audition I always knew that was false because Chloe always had her audition dances on her channel.
I think the Ziegler thing with Kurt is a little different. I mean Maddie and Kenzie have both come out saying they didn't have the best relationship with their dad. Maddie is clearly uncomfortable with Kurt being around. It is one time I'm glad Abby stepped in.
On the flip side, Holly not being at practices or the very few competitions she missed in order to advance her degree and work while Nia was being well cared for by the other moms is very understandable
I agree, this was the only part of the video I didn’t agree with either. Obviously it’s wrong of Abby to criticize Nia for her dad not being there, that’s just ridiculous, but Maddie’s relationship with her dad was strained because of everything that happened and Abby knew that, and that might effect Maddie’s performance, so it was better for her to shoo Kurt away.

I’m so tired of y’all using what Maddie and Kenzie said about Kurt to justify that gross action from Abby. A father should be allowed to see and support his kids and a dumb dance teacher of all people shouldn’t get in the way of that… That’s white people stuff, my black a$$ dad would have NEVER let some old white lady tell him he couldn’t see his daughters. Maddie was only “uncomfortable” with him there because she hardly saw her father and whenever she did Melissa was acting uncomfortable (because he was calling her out about keeping him from his kids) I’m sure Maddie picked up and followed Melissa’s example of acting uncomfortable around Kurt.
And of course Maddie would be uncomfortable because Melissa always acted uncomfortable around Kurt and kids are gonna pick up on how the people around them act, especially their main caretaker… and especially because Melissa also kept them away from Kurt and didn’t even tell him that she was going away on vacation and that their kids would be with someone else. He didn’t know anything and was a concerned father at the time. So the girls saying they didn’t have a great relationship with their dad YEARS later makes sense but does not excuse Abby and Melissa actively keeping them away from their dad all those years ago during their growing years. THAT’S why they didn’t have a great relationship, he was actively prevented from even forming a relationship with them. Y’all should be more introspective about this instead of just acting like Kurt is some evil father and Maddie and Kenzie are some huge victims and not just speaking on the fact that they don’t have a good relationship with their dad because they hardly ever saw their damn dad. Maddie and Kenzie have a skewed view of their dad because of how limited their time was with him. They were probably also told all sorts of things about him to make them feel some type of way. Narcissist mothers do that and Melissa is a huge narcissist who worked with another narcissist to keep Kurt from taking their kids outta dance and getting them away from Abby… and those two couldn’t let Kurt take their money-maker, “dress-up dolls” (Melissa’s words) away.

I think the biggest example of this was in season three episode 13 where the guest choreographer Rachelle came in and taught the girls. However when the girls won 1st Pl., Abby was all about the fact that they won because of her even though she had no involvement with the choreography of the dance Gold Digger
Abby is a prime example of “do what I say not what I do.” The amount of trauma and abuse the girls received from her is inexcusable. And the fact that to this day she rewrites history instead of owning up to her words and actions is proof that she isn’t capable of changing.
Everything Abby has done with Dance Moms and after in the media is all because of Christi. Christi was the driving force behind organising the Mums to ordination and it's because of her footage the producers wanted Abby.
She is a narcissistic person who only think and praise herself and does not see her own flaws. She treats other people who she thinks are not ment to be recognized in the dance world like chloe. I feel so bad for her she got the worst treatment out of everyone. Brooke and paige to was treated badly at least they got to leave this toxic show. I was working with a PhD dietitian back in the 90s and once we went out to dinner with a couple people from the office. She sent her entrée back three times and I was mortified. There was nothing wrong with her food. I never had a meal with her again after that dinner. I also quit working with her shortly after that. I can’t stand waste like that.
