    Thank you for this well-done review. Thinking about getting this device to plug into my mixer so that I can use my XLR mic from across the room without the cords. Very appreciative. :)

    I have this and I can tell you that the Mic/Line switch is useless. If you're using this with powered speakers, as I do, the switch must be in the "mic" position, otherwise the sound will be very low. So, if you want your speaker to sound the same as if it were wired, use the "mic" switch. I contacted XVIVE about this issue and they also said, use the "mic" position.

    Hi. Have you had the chance to compare these with something like the audio technica system 10 or other ‘proffesional’ wireless systems? I need 5 wireless connections for my family band, these seem the simplest straightforward solution, but I’m nervous if it’s reliable and natural sounding in comparing to systems from the big companies?

    • @NickMirro

      Hiss is not likely from the U3s. Interference and too much distance sounds like the signal's breaking up.

      Hi Chris! So if you have 4 wireless microphones plugged into a mixer, how could you use these devices to transmit everything ( music and vocals from mics) to powered speakers? Or that is not how they work?

      @@expertisland ok I am worried about a 5g signal and 5g phones interfering with this signal in future and wish they had at least 8 hours battery time but if you can plug in and charge same time as using (both ends) this could be a perfect way to go wireless at long last. I am getting a few to try on your reccomendation.

  • @NickMirro
    @NickMirro Год назад

    This review is nonsense! They have no where near a 90 foot range. It's like you've never used them and just read the manual. You are safe to about 15 or maybe 20 feet, then it becomes dicey. You really need an unblocked path. Anything stone (bricks, large rocks and even trees) will completely block the signal. Also no other 2.4GHz in the area - very hard to enforce.
    In optimal conditions, the sound is perfect since they are digital. Optimal conditions will NOT be your normal.
