  • In this series we document the construction of our new OO gauge exhibition layout ‘A Dreary Tuesday….. In the Dearne Valley’ based in 1970’s South Yorkshire just off the Woodhead Route.
    Part 5 - it’s been a while since our last update as things have been a bit slow but this video takes a look at finishing the fiddle yard, the completed track work and ideas for scenery.

    Looking great with a lot of interesting movements 👍🏻 I spent many a day train spotting at Wath sheds and around the Sheffield area in the late 70s on my CB Honda 250 👍🏻 So this layout build has a great memories for me 😊

    Very impressive - the wiring especially (such patience!). Hope you will exhibit eventually in South West region. And Flexxgenix are ever so helpful in my experience too. Thanks for sharing.

      Never done a show in the South West or Wales before so it would be good to get an invite in that direction at some point!
