- Over the years, many performers have returned to the contest but with mixed fortunes. Let’s take a look at some of those who have performed on the Eurovision stage more then once.

Let me break down to you how they choose their artists to feature
1. 1st one who returned
2. Winners who joined again but did not win
3. Winners who won on their second attempt
4. Current participants (2017 in kyiv) who previously joined the contest
5. Valentina monetta which joined 4 times, currently the highest returnee.
6. 2 times winner.
They only choose artist which are interesting to discuss and not all the artist who returned, maybe try to underatsnd the video before complaining.

They forgot a lot of Swedes returning to Eurovision in this video.
*Charlotte Perelli* (Nilsson), who won for Sweden in 1999 with "Take Me To Your Heaven" and then competed in 2008 with "Hero".
*Roger Pontare* has also competed in Eurovision twice, in 1994 with Marie Bergman with the song "Stjärnorna" and as a solo artist 2000 with "When Spirits Are Calling My Name".
*Tommy Körberg* came competed in 1969 with "Judy min vän" and in 1988 with "Stad i ljus".
*Björn Skifs* competed in 1978 and 1981.
*Siw Malmkvist* competed for Sweden in 1960 and for West Germany in 1969.

Katja Ebstein was twice 3rd and once 2nd. Prob the unluckiest contestant in the history of ESC. Also no mention.

You mentioned bloody Dana International as a returning winner but not Gigiola Cinquetti, who participated both times with absolutely beautiful songs. Her songs make Diva and Ding Dong bow down.

Your wish is going to come true more than you think. Surie from the UK was one of the backing singers for Loic Nottet at the 2015 Eurovision. She is performing Storm in the 2018 contest as the main artist. She also performed a cover of the French 2018 entry Mercy for the French delegation during a promotional concert because the French female singer was unwell.

They didn't include a lot from recent years. Last year a lot of singers came back, like Deen (Bosnia & Herzegovina), Greta Salome, Kaliopi, Donny Montell, Poli Genova, and one singer from Highway (Montenegro)
also Udo Jürgens from Austria, 1964 #6, 1965 #5 and Winner of 1966

Returning only works for Johnny Logan, it seems!
He's probably a bit old for that, it's been almost four decades since his first win. However, Seeing Johny back will probably get Ireland in shape again, even after a hope called Jedward was crushed in 2012.
He's actually already done the triple. He won in 1992 as composer and writer of "Why me". But a 4th time:)

These are just an handful of exemples. There are many other singers that appeared in Eurovision several times. Cheryl Baker (1978 & 1981, UK), Stella ((1977 & 1982, Belgium), Fud Leclerc (also Belgium), Corry Broken (The Netherlands), Udo Jürgen (Austria), Tony Wegas (Austria), Carola (Sweden), Kirsten & Soren (Denmark), Jean-Claude Pascal (Luxemburg), Vicky Leandros (Luxemburg), Gigliola Cinquetti (Italy), there was also "Milk & Honey" (winners in 1979 with Gali Attari, and then back up singers in 1988 both for Israel), Ketyl Stokan (Norway), Anita Skorgan (Norway), Jahn Teigen (Norway), Iceland also has it's fair share of "returning entrants", so does Israel, and so on...
From Spain: Raphael ln 1966-1967,Serafin Zubiri 1992-2000.From Italy: Romina and Albano 1977-1985.

Where are Paula&Ovi collaboration for Romania?Despite of all years which went by,i still find myself while singing their ‘Playing with Fire’.They really made impact in the contest and it’s been unlucky for you to miss them on the list.
I think Martina Majerle should be mentioned here because she was in 8 different contests competing for Croatia, Montenegro and Slovenia.
Main vocalist for Slovenia in 2009, backing for Croatia 2003 and 2016, Montenegro 2008 and 2014, Slovenia 2007, 2011 and 2012.
