2010 was a mess, that's when russian puppets won elections and all country got into protests as the new government was EXTREMELY nepotist, but back in 2009 when the guy nobody knows or listens to was selected, there was backlash because political connections shouldn't be the deciding factor. Later changes were due to backlash to singers fudging the votes or visiting russia after 2014... I am proud of who we sent to represent in last few years, Alina Pash has to be the worst rapper I heard, and Maruv is full-on russia cheerleader now, like supports the war and wishes us all to be dead. We dodged an artillery shell here. Go-A, Kalush and TVORCHI were really good!

    1) Tunisia 1977: Tunisia was supposed to debut in 1977 (they even got announced in the official running order), but Tunisia withdrew before selecting an entry for unknown reasons (most of the people thinks is because Tunisia didn't want to compete with Israel).

This can't be correct unless the French broadcaster just has its own weird rules or the EBU changed the rules later.
Plenty of Eurovision entries were originally pitched to different broadcaster and got rejected by them before ending up with their respective broadcasters
SVT rejected both "Wolves of the Sea" and "In a Moment Like This" and they would go on to compete at the contest for Latvia in 2008 and Denmark in 2010.

In 2012 Rai instead decided not to send the winner of Sanremo to Eurovision but internally chose Nina Zilli, who was competing in Sanremo in 2012 but did not win (that year Emma won with "Non è l'inferno").
In 2013 Rai decided to send the winner of Sanremo. And again in 2014 Rai decided to choose the song internally (that year Emma was not in competition) so Rai decided to send a song that had nothing to do with Sanremo. Also, in 2011 Georgia had "a situation" where they at first wanted to replace the performer but their broadcaster forcefully replaced the singer of Eldrine, Tamar Vadachkoria, with Sopho Toroshelidze and kept the song but they rearranged it to sound a bit different from the original one. And in 2009, audience in Serbia chose OT Band - Blagoslov Za Kraj but jury fixed the results for Marko Kon for some unknown reason.
