My opinions on each: *Romania:* So there was a delay in her 1st jury performance... In her 2nd JP she sounds more stable, but somehow stilm a little weak. I didn't notice the lower tone difference. *Ukraine:* How she quickly dealt with the delay in her 1st JP! I'm impressed! The other performances were equally right! *Czech Republic:* I agree with your logic that he must have added intensity to the "omaga"s in the public performance. And the "what's up," in the Jury show was useless, should have been in his SF. Sad for the line confusion. I enjoyed his performance nevertheless. F. *Poland:* Following your logic from CZ, he was right to shout and hype the public up in the TELEVOTE performance, since there was public, so I don't see nothing wrong, just normal differences. *Russia:* Awww how she closed the dress' door calmly!!! And the spoken speech is indeed a big difference, with/without public, +/- intensity. *Greece:* Maybe I'm too [un]biased with this one since it's my Last Place but the problem with the green screen in the Jury show was more visible. I think in all the performances it went wrong. Vocals are fine, but to me, not enough to enjoy the song. *Switzerland:* I didn't notice the smoke effect!!!! Sad that it went wrong, it was such a good effect. And I already knew about the high note. Amazing!!! *Moldova:* I enjoyed the "Europe! Woo!" part and was expecting it in the final. Besides the voice crack, she was stable. Still imoressed how despite that she managed to place 13th overall. Icon! *Germany:* The song was already (and sadly) unpopular among the public. Yeah, the final performance was better but it gave him 0 points despite sounding more stable (and to me, entertaining). He got very few in the jury performance, totally justified because he seemed tired and breathless there. Anyways this is in my top 10 and it's one of my personal robberies.
Roxen is not always nervous while performing: When she performed Money Money at the Artist Awards, she was very confident it was clear that her delegation who was telling her that she had no chance to win or reach top 10 made her nervous

This is proof that Juries should vote on the same night as the public. Giving them a separate night just defeats the purpose as no two performances are exactly the same
Please please please tell where did you take jury show performances. I wanna watch the whole gjon's performance with that ultra high note and Romanian entry with lower tone (at least)
See the google drive links under this video (it's a jury final): ruclips.net/video/DHGhXTLSU6g/видео.html This channel has also jury semi finals and jury shows from other years It's the only sourse that I could find right now
You should make this for 2019 too! Hatari's semi-final was so much better than their final, with Matthias being an entire beat off in the final, but it wasn't exactly supposed to be melodic so I don't think anyone noticed
My ears are pretty good at hearing when people are even slightly off, but somehow I never noticed. It wasn't really my cup of tea (though it did grow on me), and like you said it isn't very melodic so that's probably why.
I was at the semi final 1 jury show! It was so nice to see 3 songs again (Ukraine, Romania and Malta)!! And we also got 3 extras as The Netherlands, Germany and Italy also performed at the jury show, it was so great.
Omg I never knew they did this. It makes sense. I was always wondering where the Jury voting came from. I always thought it was like the same time as the live show. Now I understand why some went through eventho they sounded a bit meh during the live performance. They could have sounded perfect during just the jury show. I can understand the difference as well. Jury is where the professionals are so I would also play it more save during those times and go all out in the live shows but you can also be more nervous during the live show since millions of people are watching you and well if you f up you f up for millions of people compared to just a few hundred to a few thousand of people on the jury. Then again that would also be really bad. I applaud them all for just being there in general.
To her the music trought the Earmic is tricky in a big stadium with so much hall. To find Greenscreen Settings to cover every shadow is tricky, but possible how we all saw in the grand final. To drop the mic can always happen. And Jendrik just had such so much fun. He loved it, don't care about the 0 points xD

No ... the Romanian girl stepped on the voice in both shows, I remember the face of my Romanian friends when they heard her singing in the semifinals, they were so disappointed, they didn't even give her a vote, even though they are, from my living room guests at least, the first to vote for their country. When the finalists were announced, they weren't even surprised, they were terribly disappointed by her performance, one of them even said that many people in the Romanian music world said that she will not be able to do it because she does not have the experience of the stage.
Lol, Benny, what a mess... Still, he got more (all) points from the juries. Nah, Poland was like: We're not gonna finish in juries' top 10 anyway, so why even bother? 😆 5:06 Yeah, high kick. 7:24 That caption, ahaha 😆 Still won the jury voting though...
I mean, I've read something about it. Maybe it wasn't that big change but still, they did something about it, and she really sounds a bit lower in the televote performance than in the second jury, the voice became really kinda more "serious" and rough.
She definitely did sing at a lower pitch, although I think it was rather unintentional. Once you get into a wrong key, it's very difficult to come out of it again.
So i am from czech republic. Lot of people were ashamed of Ben. He is only popular amongst really young girls. Once you are out of your 15th year, you wont listen to him. Another problem with him, is that this song is exact same vibe as every single of his songs. Same love trope, same "chill" behaviour. Same performance as always.
Roxanne was terrible. Not sorry, love her song and wish her the best, but I am annoyed watching videos where everyone tries to explain what happened. ESC was a number to big for her.
she was too young to be pushed to dance like that on stage, i believe the people that helped prepare her for eurovision were just too pushy with her(and possibly stupid)

Jendrik's semi final performance could've meant something had he gotten covid in the meantime, but I'm glad it all went ok
Gjon also came in a beat too early (at the very beginning) in the jury final. And his prop moved.
Poor guy I really don't like heights so if I was in his shoes I'd have been freaking terrified. I'm almost tempted to say the high note was him channeling his terror but that would be tasteless.
7:15 I was watching the Wiwibloggs livestream when it happened and as soon as he hit that note I knew Switzerland was winning the jury vote
OK) from their live stream it didn't sound that amazing actually
Natalia was just enjoying the moment! I think I would do the same If I had the chance to perform on the esc stage LOL
I just love Jendrik more and more! He deserves more votes!!
Agree)
One of the Greek backupdancers also lost a glove during the performance and you can see his bare hand while on the stairs
Still can't find this moment)
You can hear ROxen's frustration in her 1st jury performance especially at 0:31. I feel so bad for her
God that high note Gjon gives me... still goosebumps every time
All of Roxen's versions are pitchy as hell though 😬 the last one was definitely the best from a technical standpoint
My own opinions
0:28 I have to say that Roxen deserved better this her song was beautiful and she tried everything to be in final i fell bad for her
1:48 I noticed her fear and anxiety in her eyes she had problems w her in-ear and she din't went in time w the song
5:05 THAT KICK SLAYED
That's all :D
Cheers from Italy
8:02 I can't OMG😂.
EurOAaApe💀💀💀
My opinions on each:
*Romania:* So there was a delay in her 1st jury performance...
Good)
YES i love germany, that guy is my spirit animal lmaoo
Germany last year was soooooo good
8:44 would have gotten my vote
Unpopular opinion)
Roxen is not always nervous while performing: When she performed Money Money at the Artist Awards, she was very confident it was clear that her delegation who was telling her that she had no chance to win or reach top 10 made her nervous
Manizha is AMAZING
5:42 The Just Dance Team is so proud of her...
What?)
@@escserg6731 Using green screen to sing and dance
8:30 this is for myself to be able to see the adorableness on loop
Wiggle wiggle you ❤
Vigl vigle vigle you 🥰
I'm sorry it's so goddamn cute, even when dancing with a middle finger he just has to be that adorable 🤧
Agree so hard :)
agree
This is proof that Juries should vote on the same night as the public. Giving them a separate night just defeats the purpose as no two performances are exactly the same
Oh my God how much I love this Eurovision😭😭❤️🩹❤️🔥
3 years later and still not over gjon's amazing jury final high note
This year was 🔥
I feel like gjon should have kept the ultra high note from the jury final. It could have got him more votes and he just hit it amazingly
Stefania from Greece was at the Junior Song Festival on Malta for The Netherlands (my country, she is Dutch and Greek))
Wow! You put pretty much efforts in it watching all these several times. Thank you, that was interesting 👍
)
Ощущается, будто это было целую вечность назад
That husky "yeahhh" from Benny kills me everytime! 💀
Not the best choice(
I cringe every time when he does the ''yeahhh'' 😬
Please please please tell where did you take jury show performances. I wanna watch the whole gjon's performance with that ultra high note and Romanian entry with lower tone (at least)
See the google drive links under this video (it's a jury final): ruclips.net/video/DHGhXTLSU6g/видео.html
This channel has also jury semi finals and jury shows from other years
It's the only sourse that I could find right now
@@escserg6731 Bless you for sharing! I was at the Jury shows and really want to rewatch those shows, it was the best experience ever hahaha
You should make this for 2019 too! Hatari's semi-final was so much better than their final, with Matthias being an entire beat off in the final, but it wasn't exactly supposed to be melodic so I don't think anyone noticed
I noticed right away 😅
@@alohim1573 Hardcore fans noticed ofc, but not the average joe
My ears are pretty good at hearing when people are even slightly off, but somehow I never noticed. It wasn't really my cup of tea (though it did grow on me), and like you said it isn't very melodic so that's probably why.
I was at the semi final 1 jury show! It was so nice to see 3 songs again (Ukraine, Romania and Malta)!! And we also got 3 extras as The Netherlands, Germany and Italy also performed at the jury show, it was so great.
OK, I imagine it)
07:21 on the switzerland jury final & televote final, you wrote that it's Greece
I watch Roxen's performance in the jury semifinal so far 💓
Nice so Switzerland is now officially Greece xD
This video requires a lot of detailed watching so thank you so much, it was super interesting
:)
6:50 You can see it from his face :D
To her the music trought the Earmic is tricky in a big stadium with so much hall. To find Greenscreen Settings to cover every shadow is tricky, but possible how we all saw in the grand final. To drop the mic can always happen. And Jendrik just had such so much fun. He loved it, don't care about the 0 points xD
Love this vid😄
Just a little thing, Malta did have issues but she masked them rly well. Like I can’t tell if you were being shady by saying she had no issues or you just didnt put it in because there is nothing different, although id have loved some extra Je Me Casse in there😄😄🙂
like, there was no difference, really) it would be no sense to put it here. she didn't really need that second performance
@@escserg6731 yeah i agree she didn’t need it but she deserved it because she had technical issues in her ear
Seeing Manizha here reminds me of how much I miss Russia in this contest
With Switzerland the bit when he did 🙅♂️🙆♂️💁♂️🙋♂️🤷♂️🙅♂️🙆♂️🙋♂️🙆♂️🙅♂️ i really felt that
,,where he tried to do eden alene“ ha ha.. everyone’s laughing..
No ... the Romanian girl stepped on the voice in both shows, I remember the face of my Romanian friends when they heard her singing in the semifinals, they were so disappointed, they didn't even give her a vote, even though they are, from my living room guests at least, the first to vote for their country. When the finalists were announced, they weren't even surprised, they were terribly disappointed by her performance, one of them even said that many people in the Romanian music world said that she will not be able to do it because she does not have the experience of the stage.
Im sorry, but "Romamia" really made my day
7:20 wish he did that change in televote as well it was amazing
Lol, Benny, what a mess... Still, he got more (all) points from the juries.
Nah, Poland was like: We're not gonna finish in juries' top 10 anyway, so why even bother? 😆
5:06 Yeah, high kick.
7:24 That caption, ahaha 😆 Still won the jury voting though...
Great detailed analysis
Thanks)
Jendrik + calm = impossible
On stage - YaAS! The word "stable" would fit here more than "calm", agree
2:58 that’s why he got nul points in televote
Just saying, they didn't lower the pitch for Romania at any point
I mean, I've read something about it. Maybe it wasn't that big change but still, they did something about it, and she really sounds a bit lower in the televote performance than in the second jury, the voice became really kinda more "serious" and rough.
She definitely did sing at a lower pitch, although I think it was rather unintentional. Once you get into a wrong key, it's very difficult to come out of it again.
@@spalman100 it was more that she was out of tune in places, there wasn't one lower key she stuck to all the time
OMG hi Louis
So i am from czech republic. Lot of people were ashamed of Ben. He is only popular amongst really young girls. Once you are out of your 15th year, you wont listen to him. Another problem with him, is that this song is exact same vibe as every single of his songs. Same love trope, same "chill" behaviour. Same performance as always.
really impressive editing work!
7:19 wow that is impressive
I miss this eurovision it was soòoooooo freaking good 😫😫😫😫😫
