The whole point of Marriage is to make your character stronger and to regenerate your limbs at the cost of party member and locking you out of Ending S. Sylvian's sigil already has the limb-healing property, and I have the impression that people are asking for Marriage mechanics solely for the sake of being horny and edgy. Funger was never about being edgy, but about making you and your character feel broken, helpless and hopeless. Besides, since Marriage is technically two people literally merged into one, it would break the festival rule where only one person will be able to get out of the town.

My current Abella run is piss easy because I got the meat grinder relatively early. I have to finish that playthrough and enjoy the power trip before Miro humbles us all again.
Lamenting the lack of marriages in future plans, but the idea of whole new areas and enemies has to be the thing that's got me the most excited because, well, the artistic style and the narratives it carries are the heart and soul of F&H, as far as am concerned, so there's never enough new content to simply play through.

I don't think marriages are possible here because of how messy the events happen and how many characters you have to talk to and crap, would be nice, but it just wouldn't work in this game like it did in the prequel

I've been meaning to get back into F&H2 Termina. I'm so happy to hear Miro/Orange was able to recreate the content he lost from the laptop incident. Being able to see more things about our player characters is so hype. I've gotten rather attached to Daan. He reminds me of James Sunderland, but with hella drip.

Innocent bordering on Enlightened soul for me, by the looks of it, interesting for sure! I’ve been waiting for so long to see the soul type chart, I’m beyond excited! I really like how the four ‘cardinal directions’ have opposing types, but if you look close, the rest could also have their counterparts. Caressing vs dominating, halved vs blank, solitary vs changeling, radiating vs tormented. Really fascinating stuff!
Loving soul is interesting. Maybe a moonscorched form could be a sad person in a position to give a loving embrace but has a shadow with a bunch of monsters behind her as a representative of a person who just wants to love but has trauma barriers. The monsters appear in front of her randomly and attack. When they’re gone she does nothing.
I guess it makes sense that I get submissive soul at 14:05 as I love to play support classes in other games (usually having to find a group to follow first)
This game's lore has already occupied so much of my mind, I don't think I'll be able to take kingdom hearts level of convoluted unless someone neatly explains it in a video.
I have a endless soul, which makes sense cause i wanted to see the world and explore new places growing up, i also do this in RPG video games where i explore every location in games to collect everything. But with all that aside, i love the carnival part of the update, which does remind me a bit of silent hill 1/3 at the lake side amusement park

I'm assuming one of the new dungeon locations will be the train station. For the longest I expected making it to the train station would be one of the escape/endings options.
With fishing being added and looking so out of place, my bet is that it would have a chance or a condition to acomplish that would trigger a fight with something like the salmonsnake from fear and hunger 1. You can find a salmonsnake rune in prehevil after all with indicates that the locals are aware of such creature. But if it was a new thing, i would be happy with a monster of the loch ness type of creature. Funilly enough, if fishing ended up really having the chance of trigging a fight(maybe depending on the type of bait you use), that would make fear and hunger a little weird step closer to terraria (enter a dungeon, figh sketeons and soldiers, return home, fight cultist, and then kill the moon god, with some fishing in between each step, of course)
miasma could have a different effect to simulate its bloodlust, rather then having a chance to take you over at certain points its stable the whole game, but to obtain it to begin with you must sacrifice a companion upfront, since that would just require slightly tweeking the grogorath sacrifice

Tivoli just ringing the Silent Hill bell even more as I got immediately reminded of the 3rd Silent Hill game where you go through the amusement park to go to the church on the other side of the lake. Not that Termina didn't already ring that bell as the city, and especially the apartments remind me so much of Silent Hill 4 on top of other Silent Hill games.

This game's lore has already occupied so much of my mind, I don't think I'll be able to take kingdom hearts level of convoluted unless someone neatly explains it in a video.
I have a endless soul, which makes sense cause i wanted to see the world and explore new places growing up, i also do this in RPG video games where i explore every location in games to collect everything.
But with all that aside, i love the carnival part of the update, which does remind me a bit of silent hill 1/3 at the lake side amusement park

Funnily enough my camera proved helpful moving the voice files for this video from my pc to my laptop, as the network router has died here. I spent an hour looking for a USB before remembering that my camera basically functioned as one because of the SD card. Then today, I found a USB anyway go figure. Iirc the entire new world is called vinland, a barely habitable hellhole, only the equivalent of north america has been touched on so far.

the new tivoli area is funny to me because tivoli is a real themepark in copenhagen and i was there two days ago as i am writing this comment so that is a funny coincidence, sadly i dont think you can draw parreles between them because there are alot of different themes in the irl tivolo and to me it looks the tivoli in game is just a standard themepark so to speak.

oh i'm so excited for this update!!!!! tivoli means a carnival by the way! and i was so happy to see the weird mirrors, because thats actually something one of finland's most known amusement parks has - a mirror hall leading up to the parks bathrooms! the location seems similar and it's so cool!

I'm assuming one of the new dungeon locations will be the train station. For the longest I expected making it to the train station would be one of the escape/endings options.

With fishing being added and looking so out of place, my bet is that it would have a chance or a condition to acomplish that would trigger a fight with something like the salmonsnake from fear and hunger 1. You can find a salmonsnake rune in prehevil after all with indicates that the locals are aware of such creature.
But if it was a new thing, i would be happy with a monster of the loch ness type of creature.
Funilly enough, if fishing ended up really having the chance of trigging a fight(maybe depending on the type of bait you use), that would make fear and hunger a little weird step closer to terraria (enter a dungeon, figh sketeons and soldiers, return home, fight cultist, and then kill the moon god, with some fishing in between each step, of course)

miasma could have a different effect to simulate its bloodlust, rather then having a chance to take you over at certain points its stable the whole game, but to obtain it to begin with you must sacrifice a companion upfront, since that would just require slightly tweeking the grogorath sacrifice

For the images of black kalev and levi's faces looking weird, I really hope it is moonscorch that can happen in your party. Maybe it would only be for harder difficulties but it would be fun and challenging to try preventing your party from moonscorching

Tivoli just ringing the Silent Hill bell even more as I got immediately reminded of the 3rd Silent Hill game where you go through the amusement park to go to the church on the other side of the lake. Not that Termina didn't already ring that bell as the city, and especially the apartments remind me so much of Silent Hill 4 on top of other Silent Hill games.
