Take a trip to home depot with me to buy the bolts and washers needed for this modification - this will be a fun one to do with your friends! Remember get a 30mm bolt and a 3/4 inch spacer for a 3/4 inch rise OR a 40mm bolt with a 1-inch spacer like I did for a 1-inch rise. Helpful links below that I mentioned for all tools! Thanks for all the love on the ST videos thus far! You guys are great, most of you have already done or seen this but I saw a space for a easier video to follow along with that provides help with going and buying the necessary spacers and bolts. Loud chatter is definitely injectors. Had this sound on mine for 3 years and thought it was timing chain as well. At least you know your injectors are working ;)

If your engine blows you can replace it for $300 shipped with any 2.0L EcoBoost like ones in Lincoln’s or ford fusions etc. intake manifold and some other things need to be taken off original engine but that’s it :-) it’s a cheap car to blow up

So the ST has notoriously loud injectors just like the MazdaSpeed3 (at least the first gen) but I also hear almost like a rattle that can normally be heard better when it is very lightly reved then allowed to go back to idle. I have yet to figure this out by way of searching forums and might just need to ask a couple people within the dealer to see if they know. Let us know if you figure it out!

You should really run all the threaded fasteners down by hand. Using that impact, you're just asking to pull the threaded inserts out of the fiberglass.

I don’t even have this car, and I appreciate the fact that you do very detailed DIY stuff for those looking to have fun with their cars while budgeting at the same time. Keep up the great work!

Found your channel through your focus st acquisition, as a fellow ST owner glad to see some more people giving the platform attention. I feel like they're overlooked a lot and it's understandable, but I love mine and I can't wait to see what you do with yours.

Got my ST 2 weeks ago and a wing riser was the first mod I did. Went with a $70 kit I found on amazon instead of spending $150 on a boomba kit. Wish this video was 2 weeks older so I didn’t have to drop $70😂😂. Anyways keep up the good work the ST build will be fun to follow!

I’ve been wanting to do this to my ST but didn’t wanna spend the money for the kit to do it. I’m definitely gonna use this to finally get it done. Appreciate ya sharing the knowledge.
