I mean, Tomei sent it to them so they tried it. I do admit it sounds pretty good, definitely looks really funky! You really gotta Love or Hate it. Depending on the person.

@@bluehydro1297 less restrictive exhaust flow so less backpressure on the motor = more power.

I have had my Focus ST for about 6 months now and I love every moment i get to drive her. Always puts a smile on my face after a stressful day at work.

i’ve just got a 15 with a miltek exhaust and a sports cat. stage 1 too love it. 45k miles as well so not bad mileage
I honestly thought when you said they made the single exit exhaust to match the style of bumper that it would be a trapezium shape, I was very disappointed 😂

@@xRAZORxIIxRAZORx Sound makes up for it a bit. But yeah, I'd love for mine to sound that way when I get it, but man it looks so out of place lol. But they knew that many people it's a very hit or miss depending on the type of person.

Calypsotic Gaming yeah even if I did have an RS I’d rather the blue. Also the wheels.... they’re not to my taste and don’t suit the car. They look straight out of the early 2000s.

if you're worried about that you should see some of the shit I've done lmao a 30year old craftsman 1 ton jack with 4 2x4s stacked on top to lift an E350 van high enough to put 33s on the back, jacked up the whole thing by one side of the axle tube and changed both wheels like that lol
I use a 3 ton jack, but have been under cars longer than most of y'all have been alive.... But it's all good, if you have your jack on the right lift point, it's no worry's, jacks can be used for short jobs, stands longer than an HR under the car
Not safe but it is a much lighter car

@@michaelmarquez6133 rs runs at 31000 used the St's run about 15000 used RS and ST are very different which is why one is 15000 more

I followed ur build on my focus st almost I'm putting down 380 torques and God damn I love it! No issues at 36k miles been modded for 25k miles no issues!
Does the stock clutch handle it? I find our clutch is bullet proof and solid. I poped it at 4 tbousand rpm and did a smoky burn out 😆

@@lijahsing2137 actually test drove one that was apparently fine and it was dog slow. Realized the turbo wasn’t even working. So needless to say I didn’t buy it. Some time went by and I decided to buy from a local dealership. Test drove an MK6 GTI and loved it. So anyways I have a 2012 GTI Autobahn Edition... still love the ST tho
@@pluskii5229 lol Stock ST arent that fasst. you have to big turbo it to see a difference. but pushing that 450 horses with a aggresive camshaft is always fun.

That was an awesome series I really enjoyed watching as I built my ST as well. We did a lot of the same mods but in different order. I'm still trying to talk myself into wrapping it on my own but that's one thing I'm definitely not confident doing.
Im so happy someone out there are doing mods and doing work on a Focus ST :,) These cars are truly underrated cars even the RS. I love my Focus ST. Beautiful man 👌🏼

cool video, earned another like. I currently own a Subaru Impreza hatchback and have fallen in love with the idea of the hatchback, once I drove it for a few months the 170 hp couldn't cut it. Now I'm searching for a new car and want minimum 220 hp I'm between the ST, VW GTI, speed 3 and a wrx watching this video gives me dreams and the comments support them sold on the ST just going to have to get right into modding so I can get it looking nice excited to see where this journey takes me.

Just picked up a 2017 same color. I got it for bluebook. It came with a cobb intake, intercooler, short shifter, and tuner. It also has 3in exhaust, coilovers, and Niche rims. Unfortunately the tires are a little big and rub over bumps.
the dark blue color was perfect in my opinion but the taste of things cannot be disputed. great car and technology anyway🤗

I’ve got the mk1 ST170 and a Fiesta mk6 ST150 the first of the St’s both modified 👍
I test drove a Type R and it was so boring, the drive felt like a Nissan Altima. I wanted a fun car to have on the side so I bought a 2018 ST and it’s so much fun!

I've wanted one of these since they were initially released in the US. Two children and a wife later and I still dont have one. In fact, I'm still driving the same beater car that I was when they first dropped. My kids and wife are happy and healthy, but I'm starting to think I'll never get my ST.

Had that nice dark blue color which you don't see many of, go and repaint or wrap it to look like the RS color. Surprised you didn't put RS badges on it.
