C8 Corvette with MBRP aftermarket exhaust

- Showing cold start and revs up to about 3000 rpms. Video sound does not do it justice. It is very loud on startup to where you can't hear someone talk if you are behind the car. Quiets down nicely on warm up but the sound is always there if you need it.
Very easy to install. Contrary to what it says on the websites that are selling this exhaust, it does work with the 2021 and 2022 models with NPP exhaust. You just lose the AFM and NPP capabilities. You will need the simulators to not get a check engine light. Feel free to ask any questions.

I am comparing this exhaust to others like Paragon Performance Touring Edition for about $500 more with power gains like 14 HP and 16 Torque. I just checked with MBRP, and they told me there aren’t any power gains with their exhaust. It’s purely for sound effects. Any suggestions/comments on this?
I think it is because MBRP are being honest where other companies are not. Going to be honest with you and say I don't know if any companies are actually getting hp from an exhaust with these cars, especially since tuning is not available. Local shop put a well known brand of exhaust and did a before and after dyno on a new C8 and it gained a whopping 3 hp.

What happens to the NPP valves?
You do lose the option to cut them off. (They are always open) It doesn't matter to me, as I kept them open at all times with each vette I have owned.
@@bluepstu9009 did the kit include simulators? I just ordered this unit. Could you please make a in cabin video driving around? Right now my Z51 is insanely quiet. I can’t hear a damn thing except for the fuel injectors ticking behind me lol

My neighbor and I actually did it. Just used two jacks. Using youtube vids, it is no problem. Took us under 2 1/2 hours.

@@adamnarbeaux5898 To be honest, I am not going to put much into engine performance upgrades until the tuning becomes readily available as I think you are not going to reach the potential of the upgrades.
@@adamnarbeaux5898 i have same ehaust with american racing headers and IPR snake with the 52mm TB they all complement each other and its picked up huge mid range power, sounds fantastic i get complements about the exhaust from everbody

How bad is it when it goes into v4 mode, is it very annoying
I have never been a fan of v4. I always have the car in Z mode so it will not switch over to v4.

@@Brewdawg235 I would not say obnoxious loud. It is very loud on start up and loud when you get on it. The loudest I have heard in person is the AWE Track.
