I have the Paragon Track and absolutely love the sound of it. The cold start is one of the most insane things I've ever heard in my life and the pops, cracks, burbles, etc. make me smile every time I drive it.

Just got the Borla Atak installed on my 23 C8 HTC. Thing is a throaty monster, NPP compatible, and I couldn't be happier. AWA sounds great and loud too, just a little bit higher pitched.
Any idea how warranty goes if i get the borla atak?
I have borla on my C7Z. It’s a great low deep sound, not as high pitch/raspy as the corsa is. It looks like this is a similar case on the C8’s.

Great video and content man! Good seeing Carlos again in your video's. I really like the sound of his Borla exhaust. Had a really great deep throaty sound! Now that Borla has partner with GM for approved exhausts, they shouldn't throw any codes!

Add Nitrogen to tires. You'll have much less problems from Oklahoma. I took delivery on my 3 month old used C8. The first owner put it up on consignment. 8k under purchase price. It 95% of what I've waited for 14 months. 2023 HTC, Red Mist. CF Necelles, Z51 , lift. Only thing I didn't get was mag. My C6 GS had mag. C8 didn't need it. Smiling every mile. Love your video.

I like the sound and the tips the best . I had the Corsa extreme with valves before on my last one and never used quiet mode

That Corsa had also sport Cats… so dont expect its gonna sound like that with just a muffler Delete Pipe

So Brink what system do you recommend? My C8 has the performance exhaust I would like to keep my NPP feature but noticed your ending statement that it's not necessary. I obviously like the price point of the AWE but how to they really compare in person? Which system sounds the best!?
Hey Mike, just looking at this video (great idea by the way) and cool video. Just an observation on the paragon. It seemed to move around a lot compared to the others . Do you know if that is normal or there is some other reason for that. ?? Just not sure if it is a good thing or not.

I wish you could have measured the DB driving each separate Vette. I had a V3 that was too loud.

The Fabspeed though not featured is my favorite. I was surprised by the Borla sound and preferred it overall.

Awesome video clearly showing the differences with the sound meter, and I loved them all! I just really like Long Beach Red…maybe more than Red Mist. The Red Mist is 🔥 in the sun, but Long Beach looks incredible in any light! The drone shot of that Long Beach Red was amazing! Thanks Mike!

What about heat shielding? Only Borla goes with heat shielding like the stock system - The C8 generates lots of heat - do all the systems without shielding cause additional heat and potential rear diffuser engine compartment problems???
So no check engine with awe since it has no npp valves?

I leaning more towards the Borla ATAK but my only concern is CEL, I’ve been hearing people having trouble with this exhaust even when the dealership installs them. Those who have the Borla have you had any issues?
Had one CEL maybe 200miles after install. Dealer fixed it. Drove maybe 1000 miles after and no issues so far. Sounds very good & lots of fun

AWE and Paragon are the best value, both are sub $3,000
Corsa no muffler is what i have and its 145 start 115 idle gassing it can hit 158-167 going 80 slowing flames come out sometimes.
AWE track would have yielded a much different result. The one I’d compare it to would be FabSpeed.
Corsa had cat delete which makes it a little unfair compared to Borla and Borla still sounded great

Borla atak exhaust for the sound
I’m getting ready to order my car and I was going to order performance exhaust do you think I should just skip that and then add the system to it later it’s 1900 performance exhaust to the factory I could put that towards a new exhaust that sounds good already
Yes, skip it and get which ever one you like best here.
Only if you want the valves otherwise skip it
White C8 with the white wheels brings the C8 form into focus better. Separating European and American cars is getting increasingly weird with the C8 series.

I Like The Paragon Exhaust, But Prefer The Borla.
Very good comparison video. The borla sounds the absolute best to me, with the paragon coming in second. The car with the full exhaust just not sound good at all to me, maybe its the video, but its just too raspy. The AWE is definitely not my cup of tea. These are American cars and should have in my bullshit opinion, a deep muscular sound. This video has done its job and now I will call Paragon manana and order my new setup. Thank you to all those involved in this.

Seems like giving up the valves is definitely giving up options... to me it's between the Paragon Track and the Borla ATAK and whether you like the more exotic or deep rumble.

Drove stock c8, disappointed, no pops or crackles and no shifting like Audi TTS DCT. I wanted to like C8 but couldn’t. The car had only 5 miles on it, could be that it didn’t break in?
Car wasn’t even unlocked. It unlocks at 500 miles. It a totally different experience and power. I would look into a C8 again and try to find one with AM exhaust of your looking pops and grumbles. Plus C8 holds it value waaaayyyyyy more

If only one tire is a lot lower than the rest, that most likely indicates a puncture. I would check it for a nail, screw, etc.
Yeah, that usually is the case, but not this time. That right front has had more issues in the cold for some reason.
If it's not a nail, screw, or a hole in the tire then it has to be a bead sealing problem.

I do not yet.
When checking a low tire first action is to spit on finger apply finger to fill valve and see if it bubbles. If yes then try a gentle needle nose pliers turn clockwise to snug the valve.
Also check inside the valve cap to be sure a prankster did not insert a pebble.
Paragon looks the best / Borla sounds the best.
So this wasn’t an apples to apples test when it came to the Corsa, since you mentioned it has long tubes and cat deletes. From what i can hear from the video, the Corsa sounds much louder than the rest.
Why did your gloss over the Corsa?
Don’t buy AWE, bought one for my Z06 and it threw an engine light. Found out it has a broken valve, contacted them 3 times and was ignored. Shit customer service and don’t stick behind their product at all.
Just bought a 2023 70th with a Paragon Touring exhaust. It’s definitely above 95 decibels which is technically not legal in CA. Do cops give any of you shit?

That orange c8 looks very weird. Trying too hard to make it look like a maclaren 570s..with the door paint or wrap and butterfly doors.
The vette is already beautiful in its natural state dont embarass the C8... 😍 Hope he can handle a few wisecracks from macleren owners lol

Only a cam will fix the sound issue with these cars. Cam and custom built aluminum exhaust with bullets will fix everything or put a ford motor in the back 😂
