@@SirHilaryManfat No, you are correct, I miss remembered. I do remember it was played during the dance contest, the black couple was dancing to it. I think maybe I got confused with that Disco Duck song that's in the movie briefly but not on the album. Saturday Night Fever was the 1st album I bought with my own money at 7 years old. ✌
I forgot about this killer right here!!! People quit requesting these type of songs for some reason and finally my boys doing some 70's funk and not that pop junk that they start doing in the 80's. Somebody needs to request some "Slippery When Wet" by the Commodores.(the live video version)

This is at the height of disco... it's actually from the movie, "Saturday Night Fever" - this track is SUPER EXCELLENT--- I've ALWAYS loved a lot of brass.. LOVE LOVE LOVE IT... (just like Earth Wind and Fire and "Chicago" both bands have a lot of brass... but Kool and the Gang kill it here.. EXCELLENT..

This is in my top 5 best songs of all time! LOVE THIS! One of the songs that got me into Disco House was in the mid 90s i heard a remix of this by Q-Burns Abstract Truth "A Mess Of Afros (Glenn Underground Remix)". If you want an extended version of this, that's a good start! I spin a newer remix of this by HP Vince called "Hollywood Disco". Both great remixes and both stay pretty true to the original track. Cheers!

MM and you are bringing back the memories big time!! I used to listen to this, on a older family members vinyl, when I was really young- love it!! If I remember, it was the entire 33 vinyl album, extended version - Like “Rappers Delight” by Sugarhill Gang- I wore that one out! Could sing every word to it- Still can do most all of it- Another great funk jam is “Double Dutch Bus” by Frankie Smith!! 👍👍👍✌️
