This may have been your first tutorial, but it was invaluable to me!! I have fussed with and cussed this machine all day trying to thread it!! When purchasing it, the reviews said it was one of the easiest sergers to thread! A MAJOR selling point for me! I'm a point-and-click, plug-and-play kinda girl and terribly mechanically challenged!! But I determined it was not going to beat me!! It's 11:30 at night and I've been struggling since noon with this machine!!! The sample stitch fabric included on the sewing bed was sort of puckered a bit … and the threads broke with my first stitches!! GRRRRRRRR!! I hope this isn't a long term problem with this machine. It had excellent reviews on a major retailer's site and people said it was GREAT for a beginner serger! WHEW!! Thank you!!! Going to bed now that it's successfully threaded, thanks to your EXQUISITE instructions and I look forward to learning more with you as you go along!! Thank you again so very much for your FABULOUS tutorial!! Keep up the good work!!

Thank you for this tutorial! The place I got my machine from had already threaded the machine so that all I needed to do was to tie my new spools in-which was so convenient! But...it did mean that I never learned to thread my machine properly until something went wrong and I had to rethread it. I had tried threading it before based on the instructions on the machine but...i definitely messed something up!
Your instructions were so clear and so useful and the visuals were immensely helpful, and now my machine is chugging along happily.

I leave my other serger threaded & just tie off when I switch so I don't have to deal with the over-under order the threads go, but having the new machine...well, the green & blue side became undone in the box! Good joke whoever packaged it..ha-ha 🙄 so had to start over..with a few fails & found you! Have a fab week.

I wish there were more close up and well detailed videos to explain the how to of threading the 1034DX serger. Very well done. Thank you. A couple things you might want to mention that the Brother 1034D (earlier model) which most people have is threaded in a different order and could be confusing. It is threaded 1.) Green (Upper Looper), 2.) Blue (Lower Looper) 3.) Red (Left Needle), 4.) Yellow (Right Needle). Make sure the presser foot is up to release tension when threading... Happy Serging...💖
