THANK YOU for the clearest, easiest to follow instructions for threading this machine. i hope you will post more videos or teach sewing classes. thank you!
This is the best i have seen until now! Short and very clear. No ennoying music in the background, the filming is stable and relaxed. Thank you so much!
Thank you so much for providing perfect angles with the camera so I could see everything you did perfectly. I'm a little frustrated with what Brother has provided for instructions. Even the videos listed in the manual don't have audio. Shame on them. I bought this machine 3 months ago and have stopped and started multiple times with trying to understand how to use it. I have projects that I've been putting off because the serger will do what I need faster with better results much better than my regular sewing machine. Today I decided today that I was going to figure it all out and not let this thing get the better of me. Without your video, I was about ready to sell it. Now I get to play with it and hopefully figure everything else out! Appreciate you!!!!!!
Just found this video; if I could give you a hundred stars (or likes) I would! Finally, I get it! There are only two crazy threads to stress over, not four, (two are simple threading, just like the sewing machine) but your video gave me at least two aha moments. Thank you so much for showing every single angle and process, I'm pretty sure I'm not afraid of my serger now.
Thank you so much for this wonderful video! I bought this brother serger machine one month ago. I was so enthusiastic at first, then opened the box and no video instructions, and the ones provided are so confusing. It made me postpone putting it to work.... I found your video, and now my serger is flying. I just subscribed to your channel. I would appreciate if you put other videos about the different threads this machine can make. Thank you, thank you so much!!
Thank you so very much! I just purchased my serger yesterday and was having a hard time threading the bottom looper until I found this video. You make it so much easier. I didn’t even see the label pictures on the machine for #9-11😂 Your video was great! Thank you!!
Just bought this machine. I am by no means a seamstress but I can sew basic projects. I bought this because I am now weaving and the pros use a serger to seal off the ends of a woven fabric. So I bought one and now realize I need lessons on how to use it. I tried, thinking it's similar to my sewing machine and soon found out NOPE. So I needed to rethread as some of them came out. I was able to follow your instructions and I will every single time I need to do this as I won't be using this machine on a regular basis but rather only as needed for my projects. Thank you so much. It was a bit difficult to see the course of the thread against the metal parts, stronger lighting would be nice, but I was able to rerun several times so I could see what you were doing. Thank You for taking your time to help out the rest of us.
Thank you so much!! I’m a young seamstress and have only been sewing for a couple of years now. I just got my first serger for Christmas and your videos made it a LOT easier to work with! Can’t wait to get started on new projects!!😊👍💗✨
Thank you very much for your slow and precise tutorial on how to thread this serger! You are a lifesaver. This is my first serger and have to admit it is intimidating but your tutorial made the lightbulb go on for how to thread it! 😊
The first day I bought this machine, I was so scared of the threading cuz anytime the thread cuts I always call a friend to help me out though she lives far from me but today you really delivered step to step and I really do appreciate it, thank you ma'am, you are just the best. I wish it was possible for me to give you a million tombs up
I have a 1634D which is slightly different but this video helped me because it told me to put the threads under the foot and pull to them from the side and it worked! Another video said to pull them to the back and never mentioned under the foot and that was a whole lot of mess! Thanks for the tutorial :)
Great video! As everyone else has commented, you made the process so simple. I worked at it for over an hour following the manual and still didn't get it right. Thank you.
Thank you so much. This is my first time working with a serger and I JUST opened my box. Your video was extremely helpful. Thank you so much. I will check to see if you have any more videos about the serger because I need them. lol
Absolutely agree with you There are More videos Needed for this particular serger. ❣️I am having trouble with my lower looper thread falling forward in the finished stitches Especially on knit jersey fabric. PLEASE do more videos Thank you 😊
Thanks so much for this . Just got my serger two days ago and was getting frustrated at not having a good idea of how to thread . I’ve never owned a server before and am quite intimidated. Thanks again .
@@Mataylor17 I was the same as in it stays in the box for at least a week . Only thing I haven’t done yet is swapped out feet on it for doing different hems and things . I do love the seams it creates . Thanks so much for the reply back .
Thanks for your video, I took a shortcut and loosned all the tensions of each thread, tied on new thread and was able to pull each one through at a time. It worked fast. But I need to learn your way also.
Omg my thread popped in the middle of finishing a garment. After an hr of messing with my machine this video helped me get the re-thread done in minutes.
Wow-- THANK you so much for this-- so very helpful! I was frankly terrified to do this (new machine, have never owned a serger before) --- but you broke the process into very easy steps to thread my machine. Many thanks!
This video saved my day! I agree with the comments below about the manual and trying to follow the directions in the manual. Thank you Unbox/Joann for the help.
Super helpful and clear! Do you have any videos on the uses of the knobs on the right? I'm sure its for tension and other things. But wondering if you have a video. Thank you!
I bought two and returned two. I even brought them to a sewing store for a lesson and they found the machines did not function properly. The first sample would be great but then you had to re adjust for the following sample. So I gave up on Brother and bought a Victory. Sure it was a lot of money but absolutely worth it. Automatic tension, auto threader and auto needle threader. But, the 1034 DX is not good.
I bought this serger to get one project done asap and was assuming the thread would last. Blue ran out not even halfway in 🫢 now I need to thread blue and I’m terrified! The comments and video seem encouraging enough. But Lordy I am nervous 😅
Thank you. It is a good video, but the lights are not good enough for me. I have a bad vision issue and I didn't see exactly the 9th step to the first thread. I would wear a flashlight on the head to make the video . That's the way I can sew. By the way, thanks.
Let's set the story straight. There is NO Dr in America that takes a bucket and a glove to anyone's a-hole. If you are a poor fluid drinker, ingesting psyllium or another bottled fiber, it is like having dry cement (no water added!) In your gut and good luck pooping. However, for people with diverticulosis, taking appropriately mixed psyllium does help bulk the bowels. It took me a long time to show Dr.'s that really works on a number of patients.
This is my first serger as well so I cannot comment on how it compares to others. It hasn’t let me down yet. I’ve even serged layers of quilted fabric to make a futon cover with it with no problems. However I will say that threading is a bit of a pain 😅 but I don’t even enjoy threading my sewing machine so…
@@unboxwithkids2216 PLEASE do MORE videos for this serger. I am having lower looper issues, tunneling issues, and bumpy edges. Does this machine accomplish blind hems ❓🤷🏻♀️

Me too 😊

This is the best video and instruction. Camera shots were PERFECT better than any others. Thank you. Wish I found you first.

Wonderful I almost dumped my serger video saved me, so easy, please make more!!!
Ive sat in front my machine for about 2 hours trying to thread it. Your video helped me so much!
Thank you. The best tutorial and most relaxing and positive “we can do”attitude . I did it.
Just purchased mine. I really appreciate the well focused video and how you show the required steps so clearly. Thanks so much for posting this!

What she said 👆🏻. I finally found this one in stock in Alaska!!!! Thank you so very much 👍🏻
A few minutes in and I immediately saw what I was doing wrong. Thank you so much for this video. You’re life saver!

Thank you sooooo much for doing this video.
awsome video!! thanks a lot!! very easy!!
I have this one and it’s a monster !! But I LOVE IT!!!
Ty this waS very helpful .
The threading order on any serger is 3,,4,,2. ,1. UPPER LOOPER FIRST,,.LOWER LOOPER SECOND,,,INNER NEEDLE NEXT. LAST OUTER NEEDLE.
does it matter if the thread is placed anti clockwise in one instance but and clockwise in another?
Great video thank you!
I did it! Thank you!
Did the 1634dx come out after the 1034dx??
What is the difference between the 1634dx vs the 1634d 🤔
Thank you!!!!
MUCH THANKS!
Thank you thank you thank you!!!!!!!!
what is this machine like when serging jeans
Yes!!!🎉 thank you sew much 🧵😊
Thank you soooo much!!!
The best!!!!!
Why did you not thread the part above the needles?
Thx for this
Thank you!
How long have you had this machine? Are you happy with it's performance? Any comments pro or con? I'm currently shopping for my first serger.

Something is wrong.....
Did you figure out the problem ❓❓
Because to me it works better if you
thread the upper looper first then the lower looper thread ❓‼️❓‼️
Followed along and got it right the first time. THANK YOU again! I can cry happy tears now. 🥹🥰
Thanks. That first thread threw me for a loop and I couldn’t figure out the thread behind the triangle thing so I’ll I watched this.
