BEST instruction video I have come across. I was frustrated trying to watch other videos. You did great with the verbal instructions and the camera helper was awesome with maintaining the visual... Thank you for doing this.
I bought my serger months ago. Years ago, I had one (very basic) and did miracles with it. For some reason, this one just has intimidated me every time I've turned it on! And I've never gotten it threaded correctly, I decided today was the day to conquer it. I watched, paused, watched, rewound and watched your video some more...and I just FINALLY (with your help!) figured out exactly what I was missing in the threading, and I successfully sewed my first thing! I am over the moon happy! Thank you so much for the close up shots, and excellent explanations! I'm sure to have your video up every single time I need to change threads!! I am so happy to have this serger to be able to "finish" certain items that really need this stitch, and with your help, I can finally make it work! Thank you so so much!!
Thanks for the tutorial. I was doing a project for the school I work at and my last machine stopped working. I went to the store to buy this one. At first I couldn't find any helpful tutorials to thread the machine because it was a newer machine. I left it alone for 7 months. Because of you, my thread is finally interlocking as before one string would not interlock with the rest of the threads. Peace and infinite blessings to you.
million thumbs up. I just opened my Serger for the first time and decided to cut all the threads and start over, just so that can do it by myself. I have looked at other videos on RUclips and boy they left me all confused and frustrated until I found your video tutorial😜😜💡. I followed along and did it. Now I am confident about threading my Serger. Thanks a million for a well-done video. 👏👏👏👏👏. Shoutout to the cameraman as well, you captured every moment perfectly. Thanks guys I look forward to learning more from you.😜
Omg...your the next best thing to sliced bread!! Finally someone that explains and shows where the threads go in each area! Thank you so much for such a great tutorial!😊
This video is extremely helpful. It is thorough, the video is clear, the camera person got all the right angles and the demonstrator explained the steps perfectly. I typically don't leave reviews but this video is top-tier. Everyone should take notes. Great job!
Hi I just want to thank you for your video because I just got this serger on yesterday and watch the video it was somewhat a help, but your video was much much much better especially on page 25 🤔😁 I was a little confused also on trying to get in there for the blue treading is was a tight squeeze to me an young woman of 77 😁 . I thank God for your video my serger that I had for over 30 years my tread kept breaking so I broke down and brought a new one the 1034dx I think I'll be alright on making my lap handkerchief for the ladies at church. I did know to use the one needle for the roll hem, but was not getting the understanding on tread tension at the bottom of page 25. You answered my prayers. May God continue to let you be a blessing in explaining. Once again Thanks. 🤩⚘🙏🏽💌
I just pulled my serger out of the box. Threading it was my worst fear. I watched another video that didn’t help me and then praise the Lord I found yours. AWESOME! Thank you! No fears now!
I just bought my serger last night!!! Went live and it ran good and then the upper looper thread broke… fixed it and then it ran good for a few inches and then bad again… I was suggested to change my threads to better than the colored practice ones! That’s why I am here and I feel real confident on rethread Ing the whole thing now! Thank you for this video! 🥰
You are the best!!! Right to the point no time to waist. Because off you I got my Brother SE1900 and Brother 1034DX And I’m loving them so much. Thanks for your videos they really are helpful.
This 2 yr old video has been a life saver! Thank you B Sewing for this wonderful detailed video. You are very much appreciated. I've been following you for a while and now it's when I've build up the courage to use my serger just for the simple reason of changing the thread. It's very intimidating to me. Sending you lots of Love from Miami.

My new serger that I've only played with a few times, wasn't sewing/serging so I followed yout threading, & Thanks to you for getting it to sew after 15 mins trying to get the left needle threaded Thank God for that. lol Now to serger baby receiving blankets. Again Tank You so very much!!!!
I was trying so hard to figure this out. My counselor gave me a serger as a graduation gift, and I finally got around to opening it up. Thank you so much, this so helpful. You have me grinding from ear to ear. Thank you so much once again ❤
Hi Kelly. Glad you enjoyed the video. Brother is coming out with a new serger that should be much more easier to thread. It will be coming out in 2023. Do a search for Brother Airflow 3000 Serger on youtube. They have some videos showing off the features.
So glad I found your video. I just bought a Brother 1034DX and looking though the YouTub videos on how to thread my serger, I found your very helpful video. Thank you for sharing. I`ll be going over this video again to make sure I get it right.
THANK YOU Jeanette! Even though my serger is the lock 1034D I was able to follow your demonstration and use the steps applicable to mine and she's back to work🤗💜

Thank you so much❣️. I love my 1034DX which is just one more model of the Brother family. I’ve had the needle threading down . But that Lower & Upper looper! Wow! I have had a hard time remembering to flip that little switch. All the contortions I’ve been thru are just too funny, yet exhausting. Bless you for this❣️🤗

I’m looking into buying this serger what thread will I need? Will you be making more videos with this machine?
Hi Lucy Lu. I use Serger thread for this machine. I get them on sale at Joann's. I will be making more videos on this machine for sure.
Do you think I could cut the thread cones then knot the new thread cones to the threads left in the machine, then run the machine to bring out the old thread along with the new thread, then cut off the knots?
Hi Pixelina. Yes you can definitely do that. You will need to change all the dials to zero to easily pull all the threads.
Great job!
Thanks!
So clear thank you !
Glad it was helpful!
Ahhhh-mazing! Thank you so much
Hi Shilisa. Glad you like the video!
