Someone else mentioned that this is how it’s written on her Reddit post. Apparently the first “update” we heard was a summarized version because she thought the original got deleted. That last update was the same update just with all the details not included previously.
At one point, I heard "Tony is getting a divorce cause he was expecting infidelity" then the next sentance was "Apperantly Alex was sleeping with her cause..."
I always love watching cheaters implode and try to blame everyone else once their shit comes to light.

Yeah, from that title there is absolutely no way to rebuild the trust. Family is a bond of trust that once broken is near impossible to rebuild, I want to see how this ends, but I don't see a world in which the OP can ever recover that trust in this situation.
Edit: the story is out of order, but seems like this person had half of her family who were sane and rational, and another half who were insane and emotional. If this story is true, I am glad that this person at least has the sane and rational half.

Cheaters will use whatever flimsy justification they can to weasel out of responsibility. Just because there’s no universal law forcing every human to be monogamous, that doesn’t mean that people are incapable of it. Some people clearly aren’t capable of being loyal to others, but plenty of other people are capable of being loyal to a single partner. Cheaters will twist anything they can to pretend they aren’t in the wrong.

Is your partner giving informed consent to your behavior? Congrats, you're engaging in CMM, are they unaware of your activities even in a general sense, or are you pursuing people they would not be comfortable inviting into your shared intimate space? You're cheating.

I have two fabulously beautiful parents, and they are so f-ing ENTITLED to do whatever they please to people because they are pretty and there are rarely consequences. Partners put up with and put up with and put up with their crap and always did. It would honestly shock you what they’ve both done to people just because they could. Body counts in the hundreds for both of them, to which they admit. I’ve seen my gorgeous mother hustle and swindle three guys at once for cash and none of them knew about each other. My father is now a GREAT GRANDFATHER and he’s with a woman my age-after he drove off and left his past sugar momma wife in the new expensive vehicle that she stupidly gifted him in his name as requested by him before he ran off with yet another affair partner. She paid for his life and worked while he played and cheated. You could say that I know allllll the moves of classic cheaters and a bunch of new ones thanks to Reddit stories. I’m well versed in knowing the signs as I’ve been studying them all of my life. All I ever learned from my parents is how not to be in life. The fact that a mother could just shrug off her own daughter getting cheated on by a future Son in Law and be okay with daughter marrying a cheater (while helping hide the cheating) is one of the most insane things I've read. Wouldn't most mothers confront the future son in law and scream in their face or hit them? Warn their daughter about what they learned and that he's a crap person?

- The self harm was a good start. For serious betrayal like that, always tell them that it will at least cost a finger, possibly two for you to consider forgiveness. Don't bring it up more than like twice in the one instance as you don't want it on phone recording or something, but make it clear that they gotta wear their mistake forever if they are serious!

I think this story is fabricated because, especially cheating excuses/accusations from mom and siblings don't always fit and weren't told to OP one-on-one to claim manipulation and gaslighting, but individual piece, sadly, realistically absolutely happened to (multiple) someone(s) in the world, so will not dismiss it.

To me it's bluntantly insane - I never even thought of befriending a girl when I'm in a relationship and I distanced myself from my female friends the moment I enter relationships, not because I have to, but because it's imho the only sensible thing to do.
