    The thing about Civil War is that Thing and Wolverine are the only ones actually doing the smart thing and realizing that there's a fight that the heroes _should_ be fighting instead of each other and are really the only ones to make it out as the better people.
    Ben just straight-up leaves and Logan goes after the ones actually responsible.

      Nova is another one that even though he didn’t know about civil war, he was pissed off when he found out about it. He yelled at Ironman because he was dealing with universe ending threat, and earth’s heroes had no idea as they were too busy fighting each other.

    • @CarbideSix
      @CarbideSix 13 дней назад +46

      Understandable. But now producers and studios are realizing that today's landscape of entertainment allows concepts to be in a series format rather than trying to cram everything possible into a 90-120 screentime movie. Hell, some MCU episodes run either 60-75 minutes, depending on the episode/chapter. And as far as crossovers, they can look to Star Trek and Star Wars for pretty much re-writing the book on crossovers and keeping it canon enough to appease the terminally-online die-hards.

      No Reed didn't orchestrate it or anything. Rather, it was that he had used his technology to view other timelines, and using his own genius, he became convinced that the civil war was inevitable and chose to side with Tony as that was the way he saw to save everyone

    One of the very few recon that actually makes the story better. Civil War wasn’t that good, But it did as it advertised, Heroes versus heroes. I only wish they had this level of complexity

      This wasn't a retcon. This was a Civil War tie-in. The problem was that Cap and Iron Man were so focused on the Superhuman Registration Act on the main mini series that no one listened to Wolverine when he said they should actually go after the people behind the Stanford incident.

    Given how many big battles, and even small ones, that happen why would Damage Control even need to do this? Plus, this led to more hero regulations, with the goal of Preventing what happened. Seems a bit unnecessary.
