So happy I found you! I struggled with my eating and always wanted to eat better but felt it was so hard. Your recipes are so easy and now I realize it doesn’t need to be complicated. Thank you
I wish i could hit the "like" button on this a million times. You said it perfectly how it is a challenge to transition especially because of how society is set up. Your videos are helping me with exactly the difficulties I have had becoming vegan. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!
So many easy recipes .. I’m slowly going vegan and it’s so hard when everyone around me eats meat, so I sometimes eat it just to “fit in” but these recipes looks amazing.!! Doing that sushi bowl tomorrow
With your sushi bowl, all you have is rice and carrots and cucumber for lunch. Can you add a protein like edamame or tofu? It just seems like not much food for lunch. Do you have instructions or an instructional video for the weight loss guidelines that you followed to lose weight and what you typically ate each day? Thank you!
We made sushi bowls for dinner last night and it was incredible! I had made them in the past and was never really a fan, but for some reason it was extra good this time around. I plan to have it for lunch today and my husband wants it for dinner again, so I'll probably be eating it twice in one day (just minus avocado for the second one) lol
I just made your chocolate crunch smoothie for breakfast, minus the crunch because I don’t have bran flakes at the moment :( It is so good! It is just like a chocolate shake!
Hi! New subscriber here. I like how simple and quick your recipes are. I also have gone back and forth. Have been vegetarian for a year. I want to go all in this time and go vegan. Thank you for your channel!
I’ve just recently came across your page and love your videos! I really want to start the starch solution but every time I do my body goes crazy with candidas:-/ causing me to have severe fatigue/memory fog and joint pain. I assume it’s because of the breakdown of complex carbs into sugar. Is this a normal detox to have? Any suggestions would be amazing thank you!
HI There. SO happy you came across my page too. I am not an expert on Candidas, but are you sure that's what's happening? I would recommend speaking with a doctor who promotes a plant based diet and see what he/she thinks. I would also check this our by Dr. Micheal Gregor...specifically around minute 3:20...where he talks about candidas and the sugar from carbohydrates nutritionfacts.org/video/is-candida-syndrome-real/ Wishing you all the best with this. Keep me posted :)
Hi!!! That looks sooo yummy!! Thanks for sharing... but do you eat grains? Or put them in the salad? What do you think about the myth “you have to mix your grains with cereals to get a complete protein intake” Thanks a lot! It would help!!
I'm a little confused with the question on if I put grains in my salad or do I eat them. I have brown rice pasta in my salad, ate a ton of brown rice with my sushi bowl and topped my smoothie with a lots of bran flakes. Maybe explain a little more what you mean, because that's a lot of grins. I will say this though - that myth you're talking about...it's a myth. We can get all complete proteins from plants. Here is a great video from nutritionfacts.org explaining it so well. Love Dr. Gregor and his info - nutritionfacts.org/video/the-protein-combining-myth/#:~:text=John%20McDougall%20called%20out%20the,need%20to%20combine%20complementary%20proteins.%E2%80%9D Hope this answers your question.
Hello Vegan Mama... need to ask on the dinner portion of eats, is there something else I can use besides spinach? Love spinach only have High Iron, that would be really not good to add to my iron in blood, is there any solution to using another veggie opposed to using spinach. So love spinach but as per doctor - really stay away from iron rich foods.
Do you have any recommendations for how to reheat frozen rice? I used to do it like fried rice, with oil, but I'm trying to move away from that. Do you heat it with a little veggie broth in a pan or microwave it? I'd love any tips!
Hi there. I don’t measure anything. I eat in abundance and I’m always satisfied and full. In weight loss mode I do make sure I’m eating a lord of non starchy veggies with my meals so I eat more volume and less calories. Are you familiar with calorie density?
Pearl - sorry for the short answer, I wasn't at home and wanted to respond to you. Yes to what Gelbsucht said! Also, I don't use oil because it is the most calorie dense "food" you can eat. Plus it is not necessary and it is bad for our arteries and heart...even the so called "good ones." Is there a particular reason you need to use powder milk?
I'm curious where you find your bran flakes. I've been trying to find a brand that isn't full of added sugars, but it seems impossible! Love the videos and meal ideas. 😊
Actually there is about 4g of fat in the sesame seeds and 2g in the brown rice with the amounts I am using. Studies show that you only need a small amount of fat to help facilitate vitamin absorption. Just consume a little with any vitamin-rich meal. If you would like more information on this there are many informational sources I can point you to. Also, I am just about to become a board certified plant based nutritionist, so I am aware about all this amazing information. If you have any questions about this feel free to message me on IG @hungry.vegan.mama or through email: hellotiac@gmail.com
😂 Hmmm I didn’t really measure it out so I don’t know. I just grab a couple of handfuls that looked satisfying to me. Nothing too crazy, but enough to feel like I’m eating pasta. As a general rule of thumb, if you’re trying to lose weight, it’s best to just stay away from it. If you feel like you can’t be trusted, it’s maybe don’t eat it. I rarely do. However, if you aren’t trying to lose weight, while grain pasta every now and then should be fine. Enjoy yourself.
I mostly hear from wfpb communities that you can pack a lot of calories into a smoothie because it is blended and you're not eating the whole food that would take up more space in your stomach. Some say for people trying to lose they either won't lose very fast and some can even gain weight. I don't really believe this to be true for me because they satisfy a sweet tooth and hold me over for hours, so just wondering if you've had any experience like that as far as your weight loss goes! 😁
L H ahhhh got ya. Well I think it just depends on what’s in your smoothie. You can definitely pack a lot of calories in there. That’s why I keep all mine simple with not too many ingredients and I add some sort of extra fiber to it. This smoothie is around 250 calories and with the bran flakes on top that makes it about 350 calories and super full of fiber and filling, for me.
I’m feeling really inspired watching your videos. Been vegan 4 years but not wfpb. I’m on day 2! haha
So happy I found you! I struggled with my eating and always wanted to eat better but felt it was so hard. Your recipes are so easy and now I realize it doesn’t need to be complicated. Thank you

Way to go!

yummy!
I agree. It’s very confusing with all the different messages regarding what eating “healthy” looks like
Oh my goodness. It’s really sad. So happy to have found the way 🙌🏻
Thank you for the simple and nutritious ideas!
It’s my pleasure
You're Amazing TIA!! Thank you for this. 💜🌹💜✌
My pleasure
You make it seem so simple. Everything looked delicious 😋 thank you sooo much !
It really can be. If you keep simple your focus, you can easily do this ❤️🌱
It is simple! It's only complicated when people complicate it.
Woohoo! That’s awesome. Gosh I feel like I can eat them everyday 😂
You are a wonderful inspiration to me restarting my journey. I can’t wait to see what else you come up with.
Thank you so much
Love the curls Tia.
Thanks. It's definitely the easier hair style haha
I long for curls like this. I have more straight hair and honestly it’s boring and I can’t get volume for the life of me.
Red lentil pasta is really good as well. One ingredient and it's delicious
I just made your chocolate crunch smoothie for breakfast, minus the crunch because I don’t have bran flakes at the moment :( It is so good! It is just like a chocolate shake!
Woohoo! Love that smoothie

When I looked at the Garden of Eden, it all clicked for me. God gave us plants to eat. The end. 🤍🙂
Amen!

The complete protein myth has been debunked. What's left to discuss. 😉
Love your channel and would love to see more kid-friendly recipes for vegan-resistant children :-)!
Great idea. Okay I’ll work on that. My son has been wanting to make and appearance so maybe I’ll do one with him and his fave vegan meals

Yes, powder milk seems much better to these other almond milk etc,,
I also think it's more concentrate than the others
Love these videos, thank you 😄
My pleasure
Curls for the win!
I’m trying the smoothie with cereal for sure!!!!
Omg I had it again for dinner today 😋

Yes I use a little veggie broth
Thank you for your videos
It's my pleasure

Loved this video ! Thanks 😊
My pleasure!
Yes more simple recipes. Thx much
My pleasure ❤️
Do you or have you had any gluten sensitivity it leaky gut issues? How should I proceed if I do?
I do not. I would speak with a doctor who promotes a plant based diet. Check out plantbasedtelehealth.com
@@HealthyVeganMama Thanks for the response!
hi, how much do you eat, as in cup measurements , like the sushi bowl, how much rice

Do you ever use cooking oil? If so, which is the best one to use? Please advice me, which powder milk is the best to use for tea?
No oil here

We're fed misinformation. Take a step back and look at what ppl thrive and are the healthiest. Good job love the recipes!!
Thank you so much!
Awesome! I love when RUclips recommends me vegan channels
SO happy you are here!
I can never get to your instagram with your link, it says the link is broken. Just fyi, at least for me anyway, love your meal ideas btw.
Okay I’ll check that out. Thanks. Can you find me if you go to ig and search?
I tryed going to instagram and putting you in the search and it went right to you.
Vitamins A,D,E, and K are absorbed only through fat. Maybe a tiny bit of avocado with shredded carrots to absorb the A vitamin wouldn’t hurt.
Don't sesame seeds have fat?
Lara Cizek She didn’t use it any for lunch with her shredded carrots which have vitamin A.
@@gabrielaone1619 Yes she did, check at 4:30 and 5:20

@@laracizek6308 yes and so does the rice - between the two, thats about 6/7g of fat
Yummy:) Thank you for sharing 😋

Mmm looks very good!!!
Do you heat up your rice?
Yes always
Approximately how much pasta did you use for just your serving in the spinach salad? I can't be trusted with pasta so I need an approximation. :)

Have you found that smoothies impact you "negatively"? I feel like they're almost controversial 😆
Hi there. What do you mean exactly? Like the way my body feels? Or something else?
