@@pamelaminor696 it’s so sad that unhealthy food is less expensive. But maybe you can cut back and save money in other areas of your life so you can buy the grapes vs the crackers. Life is all about the choices we make, and when it comes to health, I think spending a little more on the right food is the most beneficial. Just my opinion and the way I choose to live my life. Hi HM..so i gained a pound. Not happy. But wonder what im doing wrong...can you give me a sample menu ..? Any suggestions...i was so frustrated . i went to a diner with husband and a friend after work and i had a turkey club......with rye bread. Im goin to try this again ...joint pain got worse so i started taking heal and soothe...it helps. Have to take 1-3 tablets 3 times a day. Its natural....any ad vice?

I can't remember the last time I ate a white potato! For years I have erronously been trained to stay away from white potatoes - so I did. White potatoes were considered the "bad" starch and I am so excited to see that they are not. Thank You! Also, your hair is beautiful and I love the way you do your eye makeup!

It was the hardest the first 3 weeks because my body had to adjust. I love how good I feel now. So much more energy. I'm watch your videos again and again sometimes, after sometime, it's useful to do so, just to remind things in case forgetting, or to keep me strong to keep on to the way I'm eating the last two years. I smiled when you said to those who did the fat diet and say the lost weight, " hellooo your here watching" haha. It takes time to take off all toxins which kept in the body so many years, but never gain weight back with whole food plant based diet. And it's soooo easy to fix something to eat quickly, without keeping yourself stuck in the kitchen, I always have budges of different kinds of beans and veggies in the freezer. Keep it going!!!!

I just started my plant-based journey, however, I was eating a good amount of avocados and oil to sautee' my veggies, now I know to cut the fat, and while my goal is not fat loss but to be healthier me, I can also stand to lose a few pounds on the way. thank you again for your excellent examples of comparing foods, it really does make a difference in how I view my plate.
The example of the oil was great! It's hard to visualize how much oil equates to a certain amount of calories, so when you held up the jar and said that the oil inside was 360 calories, it clicked. I got it. Now I can *really* understand how I was using too much oil (when I thought that I wasn't). The entire video was GREAT, but the oil... that's the blessing in the lesson for me. Very, very helpful!! Thank you!!

My life has been plagued by yo-yo dieting. I have been counting calories for two years now and lost 135 lbs finally. But I have had to be a slave to my phone and the app I count calories on. I don’t eat much meat anyway and eat a lot of vegetarian meals. The mason jar thing is a great demonstration.

Hi Tia, so grateful I stumbled on to your channel! I've been Whole-Food Plant Based for a while, but since helping my husband make the switch, I just realized I had begun eating some of the "vegan junk foods" I was using to help him transition from Standard American Diet--(which had given him heart disease, diabetes, asthma, and severe obesity!--not a very good "standard" huh?) I had never even tried the "impossible" and "Beyond" meat substitutes previously until he insisted he needed something like meat on the plate. Then I began GAINING weight, though he was losing...and I have at least 40 lbs to lose. Very frustrating, but I'm so grateful to find your clear explanation of the mystery!!! I won't continue making that mistake. Thanks for the encouraging and enlightening videos. I'm going to get out my 32 oz. Mason jars now!
Hi. What an excellent visual illustration. I am sure I have overdone it many times with nuts! Just snacking on them by the handful has probably added hundreds of calories to my daily intake! I love apples and actually feel full after I eat a good sized apple. Also the oil! Thank you so much for sharing!
Your story sounds exactly like mine. I just started the Starch Solution for Max weight loss one week ago and lost 1.3 kilos without restricting myself! This is unheard of for me. So excited to see how my body changes in the next weeks... Gotta lose around 8-9 kilos, my body will tell which is my healthy weight. Thanks for your down to earth videos.
Liked and subbed! I actually lost quite a bit of weight on my own as well just by changing my diet, no additional exercise. I lost about 40lbs over the past year and a half. I strived to adhere to a healthy vegan diet, ate vegetarian when I couldn't eat vegan, and ultimately cut 90-95% of meat and dairy from my total diet. Always room for improvement. Bottom line- it's the diet, it's the food. Decrease your meat and dairy intake. Increase your intake of fruits, vegetables, fiber, beans, legumes, etc and you *will* see results. Great job.

First of all woohoo!! That’s fantastic. And yes, weight-loss slowing is expected. The more we lose, the less calories we require so we have to start switching things up a bit. Totally natural. You’re doing amazing!

My life has been plagued by yo-yo dieting. I have been counting calories for two years now and lost 135 lbs finally. But I have had to be a slave to my phone and the app I count calories on. I don’t eat much meat anyway and eat a lot of vegetarian meals. The mason jar thing is a great demonstration.

This new way of thinking and eating has been a game changer. It’s exhausting and an emotional roller coaster keeping track of every single thing. I am so glad to be done with that way of life. There are so many different diets out there that my head spins. I have been thinking of going plant based a lot lately because I know that I need to lose the weight but I am also trying to repair my body. I have been thinking that whole foods will help with this. I think this video has helped me to make a decision. :)

Hi Tia, so grateful I stumbled on to your channel! I've been Whole-Food Plant Based for a while, but since helping my husband make the switch, I just realized I had begun eating some of the "vegan junk foods" I was using to help him transition from Standard American Diet--(which had given him heart disease, diabetes, asthma, and severe obesity!--not a very good "standard" huh?) I had never even tried the "impossible" and "Beyond" meat substitutes previously until he insisted he needed something like meat on the plate. Then I began GAINING weight, though he was losing...and I have at least 40 lbs to lose. Very frustrating, but I'm so grateful to find your clear explanation of the mystery!!! I won't continue making that mistake. Thanks for the encouraging and enlightening videos. I'm going to get out my 32 oz. Mason jars now!

Hi. What an excellent visual illustration. I am sure I have overdone it many times with nuts! Just snacking on them by the handful has probably added hundreds of calories to my daily intake! I love apples and actually feel full after I eat a good sized apple. Also the oil! Thank you so much for sharing!
Your story sounds exactly like mine. I just started the Starch Solution for Max weight loss one week ago and lost 1.3 kilos without restricting myself! This is unheard of for me. So excited to see how my body changes in the next weeks... Gotta lose around 8-9 kilos, my body will tell which is my healthy weight. Thanks for your down to earth videos.

Liked and subbed! I actually lost quite a bit of weight on my own as well just by changing my diet, no additional exercise. I lost about 40lbs over the past year and a half. I strived to adhere to a healthy vegan diet, ate vegetarian when I couldn't eat vegan, and ultimately cut 90-95% of meat and dairy from my total diet. Always room for improvement. Bottom line- it's the diet, it's the food. Decrease your meat and dairy intake. Increase your intake of fruits, vegetables, fiber, beans, legumes, etc and you *will* see results. Great job.
