    Yes, Barbara, when I approached my OB/GYN to talk about Bioidentical hormone replacement therapy, she just looked at me and said you’re gonna have to go through it just like I did so grow up and get used to it. And of course I got rid of her. Now I loved my OB/GYN. But after that comment, I didn’t want her anymore. I did not think she was progressive and I left her and went to other doctors and started doing my research Back at 50 years of age. I’m 61 now. I haven’t stopped learning and I won’t stop. And I was one of those students who asked too many questions, and all the other fellow students hated me for my many questions. Oh, well, I still ask a lot of questions to this day, and I really don’t care. Thank you for validating me my honest Barbara Taylor

    Suzanne Somers just passed away from Breast Cancer yesterday. There is a concern that her long term use of HRT contributed to it. Could you please make a video about this?

    Ok, i an chronically late for the past few videos. I do get my lesson a little late, usually at work eating lunch the next day when i don't have a kitten bouncing all over me or getting into something she's not supposed to....
    Wanting to dive deep and know everything is a good thing. It helps to understand the subject matter.
    A co-worker got breadt cancer, and then several years later needed a double mastectomy. She was not quite 60 and had no family history. Her daughter, a couple years after her mastectomy, at 34 had a very tiny mass found and it was earliest stage possible. They said it was cancer. Im going to tell her tk pop into here and watch your videos on breast cancer, but start at the beginning from video 1 so she knows the signs. She's around 38 now.
    You are the doctor, of any specialty or GP, that every patient wants. My new GP, a young, cute, fresh off residency is brilliant! He too has said to me that he wasn't sure why vs changing the subject

    Can I share, antiperspirants… I was developing a lump in right tail of Spence area over 5yrs, every mammo was negative… then it started in my left arm pit….
    I stopped antiperspirants for 3yrs and had no odor…started getting lymph massages and the smallest one in the left disappeared after the first massage…so I got more massages and did it myself too and it almost completely reduced except sponginess where it used to be. As a nurse I’m sad that it seems they were just waiting for a positive result someday. 😢

    Thank you, this makes sense. May I ask if it's okay to take only progesterone capsules without estradiol gel? (I take 200mg every evening, which is like a sedative). I've just had a D&C recently as I developed a 1-cm endometrial lining after applying one pump of estradiol gel 0.6mg every day for three years (I'm 59), and a large polyp was found. This makes me think the estradiol-progesterone balance wasn't right. I don't have the results yet as my gynaecologist is on holiday for three weeks, but it wasn't made clear to me if it's okay to still taking progesterone by itself, as I was told to stop taking estradiol. I'm so worried and don't know what to do until my appointment in two weeks. I hope you're able to tell me please 🙏🏼

    • @annramsey7907
      @annramsey7907 Год назад

      I would just call my doctor & ask the question about progesterone to the answering service, you will get a quick answer that way. I do know from this group of videos that you only need progesterone post menopause if you have a uterus. That post hysterectomy you can be on the estrogen without progesterone. I would ask the answering service, they usually contact the vacationing physician and call you back with a definitive yes, no, or different dosage.

      Don’t take only progesterone alone it will cause the lining to proliferate and grow. Please consult with a doctor or naturopathic that specializes in womens health.

      @@annramsey7907 Thank you. My gynaecologist's practice is closed for three weeks. I live in Germany, so it's a bit different here. I haven't had a hysterectomy. I had a D&C to remove and examine the endometrial lining that grew too thick from applying the estradiol gel every day (also tool progesterone at night). I'll try to find a gynaecologist who's available to help me.

      @@Lunabell80 Thank you. Isn't it estradiol that causes the endometrial lining to grow and progesterone to prevent overgrowth (and shedding during menstruation)? 🤔 This is what I've understood from Dr Taylor's videos

    This sounds ridiculous, but I was reading an in depth astrology birth chart for fun and it said I'll most likely die from female related causes like breast cancer, so I gave myself a breast exam on the spot and found a massive lump that was protruding out of my breast I've never noticed before. Went to a clinic and was told it was a breast cyst, which I got drained. But they found atypical cells in my cyst fluid and the incompetent nurse practitioner I was seeing told me it was breast cancer, which it wasn't. Ever since that experience I've been a hypochondriac about getting breast cancer and am doing as much research as I can.

    There would be different genetic factors in some people, but from everything I’ve read and everything my Naturopath has said over the last 25 years, breast cancer (as well as things like fibroids, ovarian cysts, ovarian cancer, uterine cancer, cervical cancer and endometriosis - IOW issues with glands and organs related to procreation…), all share a root cause of Estrogen Dominance.

    • @MenopauseTaylor
      @MenopauseTaylor  11 месяцев назад

      Well, my dear, you and your Naturopath are grossly uninformed. In fact, there is no such thing as "estrogen dominance." It is but a marketing word conjured up to scare women away from estrogen and push progesterone.
      If you ever want the whole truth ant the whole story, schedule a consultation with me at MenopauseTaylor.ME. I do them all online. I have n product, no angle, and nothing whatsoever by how you choose to manage your menopause. But I just hate it when women have nothing but misinformation.
