❤ u girls. If I may suggest: add a little Cocoa Powder to your mixture when making your frosty. Just a thought. Perhaps a stronger chocolate taste. 🤷♀️. I make as many of your creations as possible, making substitutions as needed due to diabetes. You girls rock! I'm within 11 lbs of my goal weight. You both have done exceedingly great. Please keep up your great work. Y'all look fabulous. 🎉Many thanks. Oh, please make Fruit desserts!🎆
We will add cocoa next time! ❤❤
@@ketotwins A small amount of espresso powder will multiply the chocolate flavor.
Always look forward to your entertaining and inspiring videos! I got a Ninja Creami Deluxe several months ago and it has changed my keto lifestyle for the better. I use it to turn KetoChow (healthy low carb meal replacement drink) into ice cream for lunch everyday with a carnivore-keto dinner in the evening. KC has about 30 flavors so I never get tired of having the same old. The Creami now has a dedicated place on my countertop since I use it daily. Thrilled that I got it and that it has made being keto so much more fun, really delicious and nutritious!
That sounds delicious! How do you make the KetoChow into ice cream? Do you just mix it up as per instructions and then put it in the Ninja Creami?
I love, love, love my Ninji Creami! Best appliance I've ever bought 🎉
Moist, moist, moist, fine word. Love you both, thanks for the content served up with humor and sweetness. 😊
LOL...I came here to say - moist, moist, moist, moist, moist, moist, moist. 😁😁
I love your videos and please keep making them. I’m not a good cook but I’m not afraid to try new recipes because of your videos. 😊
Thank you for watching Anne Marie!
Love the dog!!❤ You 2 rock the Keto!!
Maybe I'm older and not as sensitive at 65 years old. I like the word "moist". It describes things that are moist. But I'm open for expanding my vocabulary. Synonyms include: damp, dampish, steamy, humid, muggy, clammy, dank, moisture-laden, wet, wetish, rainy, drizzly, drizzling, dewy, dripping, soggy, sweaty, sticky. None of those I would apply to a cake. Any suggestions, anyone? Thanks to the Keto Twins for those wonderful chocolate desserts. You are both inspirational, to say the least!
Creami rocks, as I use it to make Keto Chow ice cream as a meal replacement!!!
Gotta try this! Use my hand mixer to make keto frosties ❤ have a fantastic weekend
Yummy! Ty! Can’t wait to make that cake!!
Ninja Creami makes amazing ice cream, shakes, and more. The only downside is that you have to plan ahead.
That cake looks delicious... Seems like I'm always working on something chocolate 🤣😂 chocoholic is an understatement for me 😁 I have 3 ice cream makers but no time to use them lately🙃
It looks like your little dash machine works great. The bigger one is just bigger. It’s the ingredients you use that will make the taste.
Don’t buy another one until you know if you use it a lot and need a bigger one.
The mystery crystals concern me. Put the frosty on top of the moist cake. A la mode!
I had a similar maker and the cooling crystal were sealed into the metal bowl, just like the ice cream scoops are. No need to worry about the cooling crystals getting into the food
Yum
Off topic: Emily what ‘breed’ is your dog? He looks a lot like mine, a rescue, who for sure has Yorkshire terrier but we know is a mix. He has characteristics similar to yours. Thank you. PS new subscriber great videos. Thank you for sharing.
They are half Pomeranian half Chinese crested 🐶🐶. Thanks for subscribing ❤️
Pretty cool.
The Ninja creamy may be "viral" But I simply do not want to eat ice cream enough to justify the crazy cost as well as the counter/cabinet space it would take up. Perhaps if I had 5 children who loved ice cream- then maybe. But I am the kind of person who will want ice cream maybe 1x month. So not worth it for us.
For those with a sweet tooth, fudge. 2 cups heavy cream w/2 tablespoons (to taste) of liquid sweetener. Reduce in non stick pan on medium stirring constantly to make sweetened condensed milk ( 15 to 20 mins). Turn off and add a bag of Lilly’s chocolate chips, melt then blend. You can add walnuts or use other flavors of Lilly’s per preference. Pour in 8x8 and cool.
Thank you!!
Thanks❤❤❤
Would swerve or, monk fruit work or does it need to be a liquid sweetener? Thanks.
Sweetened condensed milk has a lot of sugar 😢
@@ljf7125 google keto fudge… there’s a recipe with swerve & it really hit the spot for us over the holidays :)
It's a WORD, some people are over sensitive, or way too easily offended.
I love the word MOIST! It’s perfect to describe certain foods, especially cake-like desserts.
Enjoyed learning about BOTH recipes!
Yes! Perhaps baked goods should be the only reason we use the word MOIST! And and in the terms of moisturizer for the skin!!! Lol!
Moist is good 😅
We have a Dash Mini ice cream maker and use it 3-4 times a week. I use HWC, cocoa powder, alulose and stevia, thin it with a bit of unsweetened almond milk, vanilla. For extra flavor I sometimes put in a large tbsp of sugar-free pnut butter powder. A tiny bit of xanthum gum goes a long way in helping the whole thing to set up thicker and quicker. 10 mins later: ice cream!
What's HWC?
@@jbeargrr Heavy Whipping Cream 😊
That's cool❤
Hello. What is HWC?
Nevermind. I saw u answered someone else.
Try Indigo Nilis lava cake. Ooooooo my goodness it was delish! I don’t have an instapot so I made the recipe and put half into a mug and cooked it in the microwave for 45 seconds. Amazing!
Now we HAVE to see the senior picture with “frosty face”!!😂
Nothing beats the Ninja Creami if it's icecream type stuff you want.
Expensive tho :(
It’s very expensive, and not everyone can afford it.
we LOVE our Ninja Creami
@@jenniferwellman5311 so because some people can't afford it, they shouldn't discuss it as an option?
@Toni P. Chill bruh chill don't get mad
I use my dash ice cream maker all the time, love it. I know it's done because the sound it makes changes. It's the consistency of soft ice cream when you first make it and hardens if you put it in the freezer. I usually take it out half an hour before eating to thaw slightly and make it easier to scoop.
I watch a couple other keto and low carb ch, you and sister are the most fun to watch and love the testing format too! You just crack me up with the subtle humor that is just fun fir me because I totally get you two on a fun basis, thank you so much for making me laugh and feel happy!🥰yum
I hate that the word “moist” was too icky for some people. It’s the only word that describes certain things, like that cake. 🧐
I'm glad you do things with what you have. Most of us with *real* kitchens also lack counter space. As for the recipes, they both look pretty good. Using the ice cream maker was smart. Btw, if you put diet soda into one of those ice cream makers, you can make your own keto-friendly Slurpees!
Chocolate is so overrated 🤣I see Fair Life has a strawberry banana protein shake. Now that Wendy's has a strawberry Frosty, I can see myself making the strawberry banana frozen treat. Keep up the great work, and more non-chocolate desserts, please!
I had a Wendy's strawberry Frosty, it basically had no taste.
Add a Tbsp of sugar free chocolate pudding mix to the fairlife and it makes it creamier....in the creami ;)
😮😮 that sounds like such a good idea! Thanks for sharing!
If I had a racing horse, his/her name would be Moist. My horse would win and make everyone mad! Aaaand iiiiit's Mmmmmoist by 5 lengths! I'll have to look at the Dash ice cream maker now.
I bought one two weeks ago. I’m diabetic so it allows me to make my own keto ice cream. It has a bit of a learning curve but once you figure it out it works really well.
Greg, me also. I have always had to count total carbs yet fiber, protein does help to a certain degree. Hang in there!
I found out last year my diebetic problem was worse...so being a ice cream freek in summer my sugar goes up ..found low or no sugar ice cream in store but its expensive ,so this Idear is fantastic ( got the same churn ice cream maker to .)
Love the recipe for the kladdkaka but I would take it out 1-2 min earlier. You want it more runny than that. Usually served with wipped cream. I would also add some baking puder.
I have half empty bags of all kind of keto sugars. Maybe I’ll put them all together and make my own King Arthur sweetener, and get rid of all those bags. Brilliant, huh? I’ll let you know if it works. I’ll separate the brown from the white and go from there.
I have a Creami and love it. My family (adult kids, husband, and granddaughters) got it for my birthday last year. I had to buy extra containers to freeze as they all have me making them ice cream at least once a week. I am the only one doing keto, but I enjoy coming up with personalized flavors for everyone. However, you have the dash, so I say use that until it dies. That is what we did and my old ice cream maker was over 20 years when it died.
"All our chocolate recipes come out looking like turds. Now, have some kaka."
I saw on Amazon, Dash also offers smaller “individual” ice cream makers.❤
Maria Emmerich makes a Frosty that is absolutely AMAZING! If you're going to make a lot of ice cream, get the creami. I've got one that I use all the time even in the winter to have my ice cream. I have to make it ahead of time ( the base) because you have to freeze it, but it's worth it, in my experience.
I have a Cuisinart ice cream maker and a Ninja Creami. No matter what you have, there is a wait at one end or the other. With that said, I have been making delicious low carb ice cream with my Ninja just by following the Creami’s recipe book for chocolate ice cream and subbing out the milk for low carb milk and subbing the sweetener for an allulose/erithrytol mix.
Why is the word "moist" a trigger?
Seems to be more of a younger generation sensitivity.
I bought a Cremi when they first came out. I got 5 pints with it (old lady QVC deal) and then bought 4 more. I eat ice cream almost every day. Right now I am making the cottage cheese, strawberry ice cream. I also make coffee and chocolate. I keep mine in my dining room, on a small table. Its just steps from my sink. The only drawback I have found with the Cremi, is that I have to wipe down the gear that protrudes and goes into the top. If you forget, your next pint has dried yuck in it. So, while it is mixing, I wet a paper towel and have it on top ready to wipe. I wash the pints, lids, mixing lid, container and blade in my dishwasher. Easy.
Moist, moist, moist... I don't know why people don't like that word😂🤷🏻♀️. But I ❤ you guys. Always make me laugh 😂. Can't wait to try both of these. Looks like I'm going to be buying a icecream maker
😋. Thanks for all your videos. You guys are definitely my favorite RUclips channel.
No idea why anyone would freak out over "moist". What other word would even work as a substitute? I want a moist cake. I don't want a damp or wet one. I just don't get it.
@@jbeargrr Exactly!
@@jbeargrr moist is good 😌
I blame Dane Cook for everyone’s hatred of “moist”. He did a whole thing at one of his shows about it…said he asked a woman why she hated the word. She said “it’s the ‘oist’”! 😂😂😂
My friends wife hates the word "moist" so of course i used it all the time around her 😂😂😂😂
Ok, you can’t mention that pic and not show us 😂 ❤!
I'm surprised you didn't save some of the Frosty for the cake!
That's what I thought they were going to do as well...haha!
Thanks for the smiles. 💜
Yum! The secret ingredient in Wendy's frosty is they add vanilla and if you want a chocolate flavor intensified add espresso powder dissolved, abt 1-2 tsp in a Tablespoon of warm liquid allow it to cool. Will try this if I find my ice-cream maker!😂
Ive never heard of the " ninja cremi"
Sarah, my thought is.. why didn't the photographer tell you you had frosty on your face. 😉🙄 Hopefully you were able to schedule a retake. 😊
I freeze coconut milk in silicone ice cube trays for my base and a food processor. I make ice cream anytime I want.
Daisy, what do you add to the coconut milk? I have both the milk and cream on hand, would love a recipe for it, thanks in advance.
"Don't overbake it."
hears the timer. Continues eating frosty. Goes upstairs and talks about needing to take the cake out so it doesn't overbake.😂
I think it could've been gooey like a lava cake. Maybe do it in ramikins and bake for like 8 minutes or something for the chocolate flood.
Both of these look good. Mmmm chocolate.
lol they did say they set the timer earlier then said time🍫 It looked scrumptious!
Moist 😝 Panties 😖 My husband says them together just to get me to mentally 🤢🤮
🤣🤣
Woe is me! Now I have another excuse to make a chocolate cake. It looks sooo good! I don't actually like the lava stuff much, so this cake is definitely on the list. Thank you for always coming up with new ideas for ketofying yummy foods.
If you like ice cream treats, the Ninja Creami is seriously incredible - I use mine every day! 😂
Yeah and the ninja creami is $200. Not every one can afford that. Thanks for the Dash option.
I'm a chocoholic! Sadly, I don't own an ice cream maker or a Creami, but I've made keto chocolate ice cream in a mason jar & topped it with the sugar-free Hershey's morsels. I'm thrilled.
Now I'm baking THAT chocolate cake!
Thanks, Ladies❣️
Keto Mason Jar Ice Cream😋Please share the recipe!
If you put the mixture in an ice cube tray and freeze it, then put it in a food processor or blender it will probably work. The same idea as making ice cream out of frozen bananas.
@@aweeks6649 I developed this take off on Mason Jar ice cream so I could have individual-sized servings
In a Sistema 4.4 ounce container with screw top lid
1 Tablespoon Allulose
1 Tablespoon vanilla whey protein powder
3/8 teaspoons Stevia
1/8 teaspoon guar gum (or xanthangum but guar gum works best)
1/32 teaspoon salt
Optional: any additional flavoring wanted (sometimes I use 2 teaspoons of a Keto Chow flavor and mix in with dry ingredients, using less whey protein powder )
Mix dry ingredients with small whisk
Add in
1 Tablespoon sour cream (adds nice flavor)
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
Carefully mix together with whisk (this takes a bit of doing but then it all comes together in about a minute). If too stiff add a drop of cream to thin it out
Fill to almost full with heavy whipping cream - leave room for air - and whisk gently just a bit to incorporate
Put tops on tightly and shake for at least 1 minute
Freeze for at least 3 hours or overnight
Enjoy!
@@WickedLowCarb
Hi
What do we fill to almost full with heavy cream? The individual Mason jars?
@@NordicaTundra I use a Sistema brand 4.4 ounce container for the recipe. If you use a bigger or smaller container you’ll have to adjust the recipe. It is worth trying as it is super simple, really quick to put together and soooo yummy.
You could call the cake delightfully damp lol!
🙈🙈🤣
Sooo... does that core stuff you used for the chocolate frosty come in vanilla? You could do the recipe with vanilla ( adding other flavors if you wanted to - like cinnamon), and have that over the Choklad kaka ( and that recipe did remind me of a cake my gramma made - she was Swedish )when I was a kid .. so thanks for the memory!
I have a bigger version of the ice cream maker you have... I have never used a ninja , but I feel that if it ain't broke, don't fix it! The one you have seems to have done the job quite well! Enjoy and thanks for sharing!🎉
Looks yummy, ladies. I keep saying I NEED chocolate cake. You can put sugarfree chocolate candy it will melt as you cook and gooey out when you cut. Put the chocolate piece in the freezer so it will not melt immediately.
I am here!!!!!....what specifica flavors do I need to know? 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I love my Ninja Creami. Clean up is so much easier than the type of ice cream maker you used. I had one of those, and I hated the clean up.
Made this today in my Creamy ninja, it was delicious. I put one whole bottle and about 1/4 C cream, it needs a little more stevia or something, next time! I processed as Gelato then Re-Spin, then Gelato again.....perfect Thx
Shikaka 💀 😂 You are my people
🤣🤣
I have a Dovier that is same concept, but there is a hand crank at the top..freeze cylinder for 8 hrs. And make frozen yogurt, icecream, slashes.. not noisy and takes 7 min. Of intermittent cranking..I have a pint and quart size..no noise. I crank while watching TV lol
I will try that frosty recipe. I have a very old, manual ice cream maker gathering dust in my basement for more than 30 years. It looks a lot like yours, but without the motor.
I'm currently following the Carnivore diet so am doubtful this product would be okay.
Who knows, I may end up breaking the hand crank on my ice cream maker...pretty much why it's been chillin' in the basement.
I created a keto friendly hot chocolate.
3-4 squares of Lindt 90% dark chocolate bar
1/2 tsp of Stevia (or 1-2 tsp of your keto sugar substitute of choice)
2-3 Tbl Heavy Cream
Dash of Cinnamon
Hot water (boiling) to fill mug.
Directions:
Chop the chocolate squares into smaller pieces to melt easily in hot water.
Add to mug chococlate, keto sweetener of choice and cinnamon
Pour in boiling water, leaving room for cream
Stir until chococlate melted and everything mixed in
Add cream, stir again and drink.
Your skin is beautiful!
I love you two. You're so pretty and entertaining. Thank you so much for all your videos. Two,of my favorites on youtube ,and that's a very small list, lol. You're so funny and real. God bless you both. ❤
Love y’all!!☺️ I’m so excited for the frosty!
🤗🤗
Ninja Creami is amazing!!! My partner and I use it every day
I highly recommend the ninja Creami. It will take up kitchen space though.
I don't understand what the big deal about "moist" is. I'd Google it if I cared. People are weird.
It is hilarious that people freak out over the word MOIST! LOL
Try putting the cake in individual ramekins next time and cook for less time.
Is there sugar in Core Power Protein Shake? Has anyone used a different brand of shake like Atkins?
I scream, You scream, We all scream for frozen dairy product. lol
Oh yea both are delicious looking. ❤❤❤
It took me over 8 months to decide to buy a ninja creami ….once it arrived….I wished I had bought it so much sooner! Best invention ever….and I already own a Cuisinart ice cream maker with built in condenser. Well over $500.00🇨🇦 I turn bulletproof coffee into ice cream!
Best meal replacement ever!
Gladys🇨🇦Toronto!🇨🇦
I have an ice cream maker with a compressor as well (along with several other ice cream makers...way too many) , but my Ninja Creami is my absolute fave! ☺☺
Keep the icecrem maker churning away in the freezer with cable hanging out of the door.
My ninja creami is LIFE! We love it more than we ever expected. We will always have one in our home. It has a bit of a learning curve but well worth it
Girl - I feel you on the counter space issue. Living in NYC I have an itty bitty living space. 🤣
🤗🤗
I have a creami and love it. I make ice cream and great fresh strawberry smoothies.
No Icecream maker will freeze hard. Once it is to the frosty state place it in a separate container to hard freeze it.
The Ninja Creami is totally worth buying!! I just bought one and OMG the keto options, guilt free are endless!!! I tried different ice cream options but NOTHING compares to the Ninja Creami!!! Trust!!
I crack up every time you two bring up the word moist and how people get triggered 😂😂
🙈🙈
It's hated only by certain generation and even then, only a subset of that generation. I don't hate that word and glad to see you not being bullied into not using it when it is relevant.
so that one drink made an ice cream treat? that is crazy, i love ice cream but i dont need all the calories, maybe i should look into the ice cream maker
Let's normalize the word "moist".
Moist is an awesome word. I can't figure out why some people are fixated on it. There really isn't a word that easily replaces it!
Me neither. Heard of the ninja thingy. Dash is fine with me. Cheaper.
I don’t think the ninja creameri is worth it at all especially since your dash worked fine . The creameri has to freeze for 24 to 48 hours and then you have to respin it several time to get it to a creamy consistency. Just my opinion
I have several ice cream makers (including a compressor ice cream maker, which I do love), and I also have the Ninja Creami (my favorite)...and my Creami is used pretty much every day, while all of my ice cream makers are only taking up space! I do occasionally use the compressor ice cream maker, but only when I don't have any pints prepared...which is very rare! 🙂🙂
I use my dash every day ice cream maker at least 3 time a week. I love, love, love it. Did I mention I love it.
I bought a Ninja Creamy and returned it. It took up too much space in my teeny kitchen. Also you had to put the pieces in the freezer the same way as this one and it was on sale but I realized it gave me more excuses to make high protein ice cream after my Bariatric surgery. I LOVE ICE CREAM but it just wasn’t worth it to me.
I’ve toyed with the idea of getting one like the one you have. It may be loud but the Creami wasn’t quiet! I was relieved it fit under the cabinets on the counter but I can make it myself in one like yours I was not that impressed.
AH HA HA HAAAaaaa she said Shikaka!
I just discovered the twins maybe a week ago and was just watching this thinking how quickly they’ve endeared themselves to me and she breaks out with that. ❤
🙈🙈🙈
You need a creami... I bought one about a month ago...❤❤❤
If you like ice cream, get a Ninja Creami.
If you want to make the ice cream a 2 ingredient recipe, add a packet of LMNT Chocolate Salt to it and it's really yummy! So chocolatey! 😄
Sounds yummy! We will try it ❤️
Yall did her dirty with the frosty picture! 😂😢
