The hardest part is learning all the variation and complexities as Lafleur himself has even said receiver is the hardest position to learn in his offense. It took them a while to start turning the corner, but they've come around that corner like bats out of hell. Ya love to see it.
Once you learn about loves story and all he overcame, he is a really easy guy to like. Plus everything that comes out of the locker room of him just being a genuine man. Glad he is the packers qb can’t wait to see him dominate the future

To be fair, some of those WR's were drafted when Rodgers was still starting, they weren't just for Love, it's just that they were more experienced when Love became the starter. And it's also not like Rodgers didn't have awesome WR's to play with. (Nelson, Adams, Driver, Jones, Jennings, etc..)
Love had the best year as a first year starter. He is no rookie. We draft and develop. Throw a rookie in after the draft doesn't help. The players are bigger and quicker.

It all started long ago with the Packers hiring a little-known New York coaching assistant by the name of Vincent Lombardi. That proved to be an inspired choice and the rest, as they say, is history.
Well, um, after Lombardi left the team in 1968 to run the Redskins the organization went downhill. The Packers went through a very long period of terrible coaches, awful players and awful reputation. The stadium was getting old and there was a lot of talk of the team fully moving to Milwaukee or elsewhere. I was a fan then and those teams were dreadful. 1992 changed everything with the hire of Ron Wolf of course. And Packer fans are still reaping the rewards of his philosophy with the team, which all starts with scouting and the draft.
