Beneath all the high-flying stats and with people used to seeing huge plays with the Chiefs, they've always managed to win tough games too. People never doubted the Pats on those things bc of that champion locker room vibe. They could limp into the playoffs and people gave that credit. The Chiefs on this streak have earned that respect and more, so yeah the only question is do teams believe any of the media and fan silliness? Highly doubt it, and Chiefs get their best in the regular season more than other teams. That date is circled. That probably helps the Chiefs too, either way

One thing that always set right with me is how Andy did Alex right. He flourished his last year as the starter in KC. That set him up for a huge payday in Washington. We all know that things didn’t turn out great for Alex or Washington with that trade, that injury still sends shivers down my spine! Alex and Andy took us from bottom dwellers to contenders in one offseason. I have so much respect for Alex, he helped bring back a winning culture to KC. Patrick being able to sit behind him for a year was the perfect situation for him. Although it doesn’t get talked about often, KC owes not only Andy, but Alex as well, a huge debt of gratitude.
Say it louder for those in the back!!! As a life-long Chiefs fan for 40+ years. I love this comment. Alex was so awesome showing his replacement essentially how to be a winner.

3-No more than one pass interference/spot foul
4- Lamar sacked (4 times)

Ravens thrive on turnover ratio and Lamar's play. Must contain and get after him. Defense and a little production on offense..no dropped passes...silly mistakes...just a few big plays.. consistency... can win it all for KC.

Definitely need to win this year to become a genuine dynasty. Patriots were one cuz of the the back to back, winning the second and third super bowl after winning the first one the year before.
Best the niners and the Chief's dynasty will go down in the history books. And with that third ring, there's no telling what Mahomes will accomplish should he stay in the league for as long as he can. They brought their A game when it mattered the most, and they'll surely do it again in a few weeks.
Andy Reed's football ancestry does not start with Mike Holmgreen at the Green Bay Packers. Both Mike and Andy football history goes back to LaVell Edwards at BYU. LaVell was successfully running the west coast offense at the college level (and good friends of Bill Walsh). Mike Holmgreen was introduced to Andy Reid at BYU and decided that one day when he was a head coach in the NFL, he will be looking to hire Andy as an assistant coach.

Comparison is the thief of joy. That said facts are facts and Mahommes is on an amazing pace for his legacy in the nfl. He is without a doubt the most successful a playing right now. Should be a good game and as a chiefs fan I’d love nothing more than to see my team win but won’t be super mad if we didn’t because 6 straight afc title games is awesome considering how are regular season went. Still need to win more before ever being considered (:045) "the greatest dynasty", as was stated at the beginning of the video. That's beyond controversial, it's a homer statement right now. A player can have a career ending injury in one play, so until they've done it, they haven't done it. I'm not a Brady guy at all but he was drafted in the 6th. round and Mahomes was drafted in the 1st. round. That type of draft stock capital still matters in the NFL and Brady had to go through a lot more to even get a chance. He also had to deal with a control freak and hardass in Belichick, while Mahomes has been fortunate enough to have Andy Reid as his coach. Big difference. Yes, Mahomes has been great and he's still young but until the Chiefs do some more winning, they're only a very good team as of now. Remember, stats can be used to fit almost any narrative, what matters in the end is winning. The Chiefs and Mahomes are almost there but they still have a little way to go. Mahomes and Reid are awesome but Spags is the main reason. I've been a Chiefs fan for over 40 years and absolutely love Mahomes and Reid but even they will tell you. Spags is the man!!!
Let's put this in prospective. Mahomes this year had an ok offense around him but a top 5 defense which he's never had in his career. Kelce the only reason he didn't have 1000 yards was because he chose not to chase stats the last game of the season. Still people are doubting the Chiefs as they have before the Mahomes Era began. That's ok because when you doubt them that's when they play their best. This weekend they will prove once and for all never doubt Mahomes and the Chiefs.

To everybody saying the Pats dynasty was better: it was two dynasties, one that ended in 2007 (5 AFC championship games, 4 Super Bowl appearances, 3 Lombardis) and the other that began in 2011 (8 AFC championship games, 5 Super Bowl appearances, 3 Lombardis). Brady and Belichick were really the only carryovers. I'd say that second Patriots run with Edelman, Gronk, White, Gostkowski, and the rest probably takes some pretty good cake all-time right now, but so far this Chiefs run sits at 6 AFC championship games, 3 Super Bowl appearances, and 2 Lombardis, and they're not done.
The difference is that those 6 AFC championship appearances are all in the first 6 years Mahomes has been a starter. That is absolutely rediculous.

But also I dont know why but chiefs defense can suck and get torched but when it comes to when it matters they almost always clutch up. If that chiefs defense didnt step up against the 49ers when Mahomes threw 2 bad INTs at the end of the 3rd quarter and beginning of the 4th quarter they definitely would not have won or even when they were down 24-0 to the texans in the wild card. Everyone always talks about the Qb when come backs happen but without the defense stopping the other team from scoring anything it wouldnt matter how good the QB does. So Mahomes is 100% the key part to the chiefs dynasty but his defense always clutches it up so I definitely believe the Chiefs win especially if they are up after the half

what’s kinda sad is that a lot of our key defensive guys like mcduffie, sneed, bolton, karlaftis, omenihu, edwards, and gay would be well known and celebrated on any other team but since they are on the chiefs, their hella overshadowed because of mahomes and kelce.
