Upgrading our old interior caravan lights to new LED lights |Caravan Vlogs

I replaced all our old halogen ceiling lights in our caravan with new 12v LED ceiling lights. Also replaced two old halogen spot lights and this is how I done it.

when you got the caravan, what gear did it come with and what did you have to buy before your first outing

Hi Tony it came with everything we needed to get started like electrical hock up cable this was only a 10M so I did go and buy a 25m one as well also came with waste master and pips Aqua roll for the water I did go and buy a 25m freshwater hose for when we go fully service also came with a 15kg gas bottle then we just added our own pots pans cups etc

I upgraded mine in my motorhome, but I just upgraded the bulb to LED rather than exchanging the whole unit. Have a look at that it’s a lot cheaper.

The plan was just to upgrade the bulbs but after looking at the lights them selfs some of the switches were very temperamental and the spotlights didn’t work at all so thought it be best just to change all of them

You could have just upgraded the bulbs to Led. That's what i have done especially the little spotlights under the cupboards that get really hot

I was thinking of that but the switches on the lights were temperamental so was easier just to change them all, the spotlights didn’t actually work at all

White light is Not good for a relaxing atmosphere , it contains to much blue light.

Agree we only use them when we are doing washing up making beds etc when it comes to relaxing, we usually just have a little lights on around the side
