Living full-time in my rolling tiny home has been the best decision of my life. Off-Grid living offers a peace and connection to life that you just can't explain. When i first started van life i build a stealth camper van with the mindset the you had to live a stealth van life and i soon discovered that you can just live the city van life and boondock in the countryside and as long as you are respectful of the backcountry and cities you live in. Van is not small, Foresty has made his space as per his needs and it fits him
Forest has been a content dude ina small van - until he met chrome.
From the outside his van looks small, on the inside Foresty has made such good use of space that it looks like the inside of a bus.
He definitely has figured out how to take with him what he needs and still be able to chill. (Most of his living he's outside)

Foresty lives in that small van and has a better diet than most people who have full kitchens at home. Very inspirational; I bought a van because of these channels.

@@WhatsUpWithSheila Thank you for that!! I think I would find it a challenge to live in Chromes space and would find living in a car impossible! After being made homeless I was living in a motorhome until just before the first UK lockdown when it was attacked when I was inside it. I am in a flat now as that massively impacted my mental health as I live with ptsd. I hope I can go back to living in my motorhome as I was just getting used to it.

I agree, this MICRO van has a place for everything, and everything in it's place. Absolutely no room for sloppiness or not returning anything to it's original place. VERY efficient looking ! Thank you for sharing.

Let's be honest - Foresty's minivan is not roomy with the way he's built it out (compared to other options). To his credit, Forestry maximized every single interior inch of space. It works for him - For Now. Recently, Forestry's almost retired the minivan the when the cost of repairs was almost too much. Forestry also seems potentially interested in a dog, so who knows what the future holds. He may upgrade to something bigger in the future.
he should just pursue his intuition and keep doing what makes him happy :)

Foresty's nice van was custom designed for his body frame. Just right.
I watch Foresty Forest and never realized how tiny he is. Or how little space he has. I would be claustrophobic.
That’s exactly what I was thinking when you see his videos it looks like a lot of room but he is so small
I knew his van was small, but when you get Chrome for size comparison it looks even smaller. I think he mentioned in one of his videos that he is under 6 feet, I guess it works out then. Amazingly efficient layout, but my main concern would be to have no emergency exit in case of fire.
Forest is not so tiny...5'8" is average height and his body is like steel. Chrome is just big and looks like a giant in a compact van.
I'm happy that i'm not a giant, i can eat less food, i never pick up weight, no leg or back pain, if i fall it doesn't hurt that much, i fly up mountains and i can live in my tiny van like Foresty :) and tiny people live longer by the way 👊🏻

I've been a follower of both your channels for a long time. IMHO, there's another important #VanLife difference between the two of you, that you touched on. Where Vancity Vanlife is centred on and around the van and how to live in a van, Foresty Forest uses his van to visit places and do things. Foresty Forest is using the van as a tool, whereas with this channel, the van is the end goal, and everything else is extra. Neither is better, just different.
Very true, well said! Both great guys but as different as you can get. And different isn’t bad... it’s just different.
This is a perfect example of how each VanLifer personalizes their home. You point out how different the two of you are and how you each live differently even tho you both live in vans. I think the same is true of non VanLifers. We aren’t the same either. Foresty has 209 thousand subscribers and he just gained another in me.
