Magnussen's lap was faster than Mazepin's qualifying lap last year
Lmaoooo
and the car isnt even fully optimised to the bahrain track :D
The cars are even designed to be slower than the ones last year.
@@tristanjahari4193 this may show that haas will be a lot faster than last year
@@issacc2262 well if magnissen takes over nikita
I learned that Sainz gets ignored so much by the cameras when he's on-track, that WTF1 had to include footage of Vettel in the Ferrari instead.
Yo! We really never see Sainz!
@@gabrielayala1182 it has nothing to do with British bias, as Vettel is German, and Ferrari is Italian.

I think they can win some races this year

Haas 2022 world champions confirmed
ahahahah, how I wish it was true as refreshing.
@@LorenzoGiannetti if so i will ping you then xD
Haas need sponors so they need to show theyre not 5 seconds of the pace again. ALso its great to let Kmag run a bit so he can walk the season. Shake the limbs loose and blow the dust off.
Surely Haas could use a propper steer away from controversy.
@@DerBeppone last week I had haas maybe trying to get p8 or 9 in the championship but with this magnussen signing I can’t help but just feel a wave of optimism for them now. Mick also tends to flourish after a year so maybe haas can replicate what they did in 2018 and fight near the top of the midfield after all
No sponsor = no stickers = lighter car = Faster car dummy 🙄
Historically, Hass always does worse when it has sponsors...
I hope they skimped on development last year to have a nice war-chest for the new regulations. I would love to see Haas in the mid-field because that's where all the fun racing happens anyway.
It’s brilliant to see KMag back on the grid. I think we can all say he’s a fine talent who deserves to be on the grid as opposed to to the other guy we don’t need to name. Also Alpha T are having a quietly effective pre season. Of course they are not going to win the first race but it will be interesting to see how close they are.
Never say never 😁
Imagine if haas where fast all a long and it was the drivers in 2021 being slow
You say that, but gasly is a beast
@@stktriz give Mick a proper car, he'll prove you wrong. Not so sure about the spinny boi though.
@@NeonColored ok average Mick fanboy
How awesome would it be if Haas was the fastest team at the first race.
Seeing mick on the podium would be a nice start to the season
They are my team, but as I said elsewhere, I'm not that high yet - This is the kind of shit I think about after 4 or 5 drinks in on really good Scotch.
@@radamus210 you good over there mate?
@@BigManFred27 I've got my first pour of a fine Glenmorangie.... OK in what way? Mentally because I'm a HAAS fan? LOL! I'l tell ya how good I am late Sunday morning and ecstatic if we're not P19/20 ... But no, I'm always glass half full! hehe
I will do a backflip off the engine of my dragster and land in the cockpit, upload it and put the link here
I think Haas being fastest proves everyone else is holding back. Well done in any case.
Well, he also ran at the end of the day when the track is the most rubbered in and fastest. Dont get your hopes up that means much.
I always wondered, do tracks get cleaned up after each race?
@@Appletank8 ofcourse not. The reason some tracks have much more grip is simply because at that specific track there are regular races. For example at the Russian Gp the track is really "green" because there is almost never anthing other then F1/F2. While at silverstone there is something to watch every few days/weekend. Whenever it rains all the grip is gone.
@@seb9940
My thought process is like, as a race goes on, people talk about how a racing line forms with the most rubber baked into the track. Well, even if nobody else races for the entire year, wouldn't that rubber still be there next time?
@@Appletank8 No, because weather and sand basically undo all that bedding in.
HAAS goated
I'd honestly be shocked in a good way if they managed to pull off a braun gp which i honestly wouldnt mind

Imagine seeing something similar to 2009, with KMag becoming this Year's World Champion!
don’t count out MSC
I love your thinking but I'm not high enough just yet! but it is Friday :) ~ Kev fastest on the day HAHA! That is some serious head fuckery for the garage right there! and brilliant!
Haas '22, '23, '24
Sorry to break you but I'm afraid this could be more like 2000 when the team has a total domination... not really. I mean, McLaren, Jordan, BAR and also Williams were there too so it's not like the season wasn't interesting at all.
@@styren2815 MSC is good , but K-Mag is still at his Peak , and has way more experience than Mick .
Also it doesn’t matter if the others are sand-bagging it or not , but it really takes talent to get the fastest lap in one of the slowest cars .
Also Kmags Lap was faster than Mazepin’s lap last year , despite last years car being about 2-4 sec faster than this year .
HAAS Fastest lap
Most WTF1 Thing Ever
Or is it just a sign that most of the other teams are sandbagging, i mean "being cautious"?
@@dan32767 my first thought, since camera's were off they probably figured why not and went for it. who knows though.
Even if teams are sandbagging it is still impressive from Haas to set a lap like that
Its good to have Haas looking better and having two drivers I can feel good about. Mazapim was just toxic to me, I would get a KMag shirt now.
I don’t pay attention to the timesheets.. But when a Haas car is on top it must mean something… hope to god their car is reliable and stable. That team needs a break
People have got to remember Haas, Williams and Alpha all had so much more development points for their aero.. so don't be surprised if within a few races those 3 teams are once again back markers. Hopefully they can get a few good result in early before the big teams make massive leaps forward.
I think McLaren will find a fix with in the week, already new parts arriving from the base, lets hope that they will work because in my opinion they have a good car to challenge for podiums at least
McLaren are very quick they’ve only run on C2 C3 tyres. Finished a second behind the pace but with dodgy breaks with good breaks that’ll add a second or 2
It should just be a matter of new brake ducts. I dont get why they made it sound so severe other then for dramas sake
@@jacpfc01 yeah as long as they are with the pace you know they are good we got danny ric and lando
@@GonzoDonzo hopefully. Everyone is acting like they're done and dusted.
Well, for all the problem they had, they had 5th position. With lower compound also. They are probably mix and match all the design probability they had in store and fits in whats the best.
So good to see Haas do what they did today after all the craziness
Alpha tauri looks super strong. Fastest yesterday and most laps today showing reliability. It’s really impressive
Yuki just proved Japan workaholic
I guess having a car that can actually run a whole GP might guarantee a couple of points early in the season.
2:06 This edit made me chuckle. 10/10, would laugh again.
It is just cause K-Mag is back!!
Matt that was the wrong Ferrari
It's difficult to find shots of Sainz in a Ferrari because he's somehow invisible to cameras
And here I was, thinking WTF1 stands for Who's The Fastest One...
Haas new livery is nice 👍
Kevin 2022 WDC
Would be really cool to see haas fight for some points and maybe even get a podiun this year
From slowest yesterday to 9th at the end of today, and fastest on the extra time track all with the same car!! What a job!! No doubt, the drivers makes a difference.
The cars look phenomenal, K-mag is still amazing behind the wheel and it seems we still don’t know who got it right with the cars. Overall, I can’t be more excited for the season to start
Dayum, I am getting really worried about McLaren. It's not that you can change a lot in the car design with 1W left before Bahrain GP. Hope it's a minor thing only.
Yeah it's a tough one. Those front brake ducts can really effect all the work done further down stream
Vettel must be loving the new cars with so much emphasis on rear downforce.. and he so far been very good in testing.. hope Aston Martin can fight for a few podiums this season at least..
Well that aged badly.. one job Aston Martin had..
I'm looking for something from Alonso, these cars seem to be similar to the 2005 Renault
Ahhhh this Ferrari reminds me of that all mighty 2017 winter testing champions.
Really appreciate the daily summary!
It's great to find all of the Haas fans crawling out from under their logs like I did.
Someone needs to start a gofundme page for them.
I'm so excited for the new F1 season!!!!
Nice vid keep it up
You sound SO happy!!!!!
Albon's commentary when Latifi's brakes caught fire was great.
I think for the Wheel Rim covers... it kinda reminds me of those old Group 5 Cars like the Moby Dick Porsche and the IMSA Audi which i believe are all designed with Brake Cooling in mind as well. Isnt the ones on F1 suppose to work the same way or am i missing something here?
I would draw zero conclusions from who puts in the fastest laps until Q1 in Bahrain. If I were Merc or RB I would have told the drivers not to push too hard, not to show their true pace.
Alpine proved that pink still looks damn good on an F1 car.
Hope to see Haas scrapping with Merc at the top of the midfield.
K-MAGs smile is so radiant you can see it through his facemask
So close to 1 mil!!
I didn't know Seb was driving his old Ferrari in this Bahrain test 🤣🤣. Come on WTF1
LET'S GO HAAS
That's the wrong ferrari at 3:59 and 4:15 😂
Perfect WTF1 moment at 3:27. WTF, K-Mag!?
It seems to me alot of the teams will sacrifice Bahrain GP, specially the ones who had no problems in Barcelona, changing car mechanical design in just 1 week seems too narrow and risky to me
I'm moving my birthday this year so it's on the same day as the season opener race.
I love the ALPINK's livery
To think that Magnussen didn't do any training through out the winter. his neck must hurt
Absolute chaos 😂😭
WTF1: 'lap times do not matter when testing'
Also the WTF1 thumbnail:
Yeah I want that track back.
Better to experience problems now rather when the season starts, even tho you could be missing on some data gathering.
Honda’s reliability should’ve been a major topic
1:32 the Macau GP!
It's funny how everyone already figured out the brake cooling problem with aero covers in the 70s - literally just have openings in your wheel cover.
When you take a break from something then come back, you will be very very very nice 😎
if the haas set the fastest time then the times set by the teams in Barcelona and Bahrain so far mean absolutley nothing
Of course they don't but we can dream, can't we?
Unless haas actually pulled a Brawn gp
When the 2nd session ended, Mag was 9th and Schumacher was 12th. So I'm hopeful they at least won't be 19th and 21st.
Can we get an internets reaction to drive to survive, Matt??
I'm a hard core ferrari fan who worships ferrari yet I'm delighted to see kmag beating carlos who is my favorite driver on the grid
Wait the season starts next week?
Let’s go Yuki!!!
Curious as to why at the time of 4:17 your showing last year's Ferrari?
That Haas is having an Identity crisis
That it's gonna be a year before Im used to saying Zhou Guanyu
Yeah chinese and japanese names are very odd to us westerners, especially the whole surname before your first name thing
@@Fred_the_1996 We use it the same way here in Hungary
@@Fred_the_1996 I don't mind it. It's just weird that they wait till he gets to f1 before they change it. 2 years in f2 he was Guanyu Zhou. Just messes with me
"...we learnt..." Instant classic lol, thanks for that spelling. :)
Looks like newer drivers are putting in more laps than the older ones xD
I want that track back
In Geunther we trust
One reason why Kevin set the fastest lap could be lower weather temperature in the evenings in Bahrain.
Other reason is HAAS is backkkkk
If Williams becomes a front runner and merc falls off into the mid field, it would be the most George thing to happen lmao
Haas: This is not even my final form...
I kind of like the new brake lights and idk why no ones talking about them
Nice to see KMag back, but when these teams going to quit with the sandbagging, and actually open things up?
Q3 next Saturday
You have the same way of finishing your sentences than the chinese tv reporter from Family Guy.
Herbi kicking a$$
It would be fantastic if Hass could keep up that momentum... shake things up a little.
Very happy to see Kevin Magnussen back.
2.52 They always said Vettel had a big head...
lol let’s be fair, Yuki needed the practice lol
Let’s go thr og kmag is back this time Gunther gonna do the fook smash door for different reasons
2:52 caption image!
McLaren's brakes caught the Rona
😮when you understand the word's, they just don't make sense..
Hope this year is Epic.
if the car are slower than previous seasons, and if tsunoda managed to achieve 120 laps, so it might not be too painful physically to drive a 2022 f1's car.
Haas winning a world championship? Unlikely but I would live for it!! 😂

Who’s McLaren’s reserve driver?
@@willdreon9558 Vandoorne. Or Hukemberg
They don't have one designated. Not sure if they are to share the pool with Merc again (as they did in the recent years), if so, then either Stoff or Nick de Vries

SUPER HAAS
Waited for cameras to stop focusing on track and took out the sand
Everyone complaining about masi while the new race director cant even compleet testing without chaos and confusion
